In this Episode, listen to what the guys have to say about The Masters Tournament as they discuss not just the ups and downs of Augusta this year, but some of the actual legitimate issues and questions that should be noted by all as we approach the upcoming majors. Yes, it was certainly strange to see some greats miss the cut this year; however, it's evident that (from Matthew Wolff and his dq, to Rory McIlroy and his mind boggling shots lately) some of the boys have some more than obvious, yet, serious issues to work out. Time now. As many would say this year's tournament wasn't necessarily the most climactic Masters, there was certainly lots of good to talk about. While Jordan Spieth might have had a few hiccups this time around, it was absolutely another positive step for him and another Masters win is certainly not out of his realm. It was also not only amazing to see Hideki Matsuyama earn his Green Jacket this year, but also worth noting how truly special it was to see his caddy, Shota Hayafuji, bow and leave the course in such a unique & honorable way. What an unreal tribute for all to witness and reflect on just how special, memorable, and distinguished The Masters Tournament  is. Due to the recent unexpected and tragic passing of NHGA Tournament Director Todd Becker, the podcast has had to unfortunately take a brief hiatus. With time, and in honor of Todd, the guys were able to get back into action and bring you all this very special & heart felt episode. To those that knew Todd, honoring and remembering his impact on the Golf community is something that can't be summed up in one podcast episode. While there is hope this may bring comfort to the many that did know him, this episode also evokes a great sense of enlightenment to those who did not. Enlightenment not just about the great game of Golf, but about life. With that said, it would only make sense to return the podcast by welcoming on another close & dear friend to Todd, current Executive Director of The Players Championship, Jared Rice. Upon a solemn yet joyful reflection of Todd and his contribution to Golf, family, and friends, the conversation moves on to discuss where Golf and the Tour has been over the past couple of years. Listen to Jared's insider view on how The Players Championship not only handled the covid catastrophe, but how it adapted as a result. Jared also shares some of his favorite fun facts and insider secrets about the visibly intimidating TPC Sawgrass, as well as its design, that will surely have any fan intrigued! From why holes eleven, twelve, and thirteen are where moves get made, to understanding how and why the course was designed, this episode covers it all. In the words of Jared, the course was " built ahead of its time to withstand the test of time", and after hearing this episode, these words couldn't be truer. Under the unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, we hope you all enjoy what Jared had to say and remember to stay tuned into next week's show previewing The Masters.                    ********************************************************************************While the community continues to remember Todd, we encourage all listeners and fans to please help Todd's family during these unspeakable times by donating to the Todd Becker GoFundme: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-todd-becker-supporting-the-beckersRemember to subscribe, share, and please, leave a review on your favorite podcast listening platform! To follow up a great first launch episode, listen in this week to hear what the guys have to say about a phenomenal weekend of golf at the beastly, Bay Hill for the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational.  After a solid recap on the weekend with some debate on who's game is hot & who's not, we gear towards discussing The Players Championship  and even touch on some topics that we think the golf community is truly pondering at the moment. Should there be a concern with Rory McIlroy ahead? Phil Mickelson announcing? Is Eddie Pepperell's twitter game better than our golf? Is the PGA out with some old and in with the new? And naturally, we wouldn't want to forget some wagering & fantasy perspectives as well. . As we announce the official winner of the $50 Golf & Ski Warehouse gift card trivia prize, in addition to some insight on our incredible next guest- one in which we guarantee you will not be disappointed!
