The motorhome world is changing fast. In this episode of the Motorhome Matt Podcast, Matt and Keith reflect on a turbulent but revealing year for the motorhome industry in 2025, and look ahead to the changes, challenges and opportunities coming in 2026. From faltering dealers to shifting buyer habits, it's a frank, insider look at where the market stands, and where it could be heading. Why are some long-standing dealerships struggling or even closing? What's behind the drop in impulse buying, and how are today's better-informed buyers forcing the industry to adapt? Matt unpacks it all with the kind of no-nonsense insight you won't hear from the showroom floor. Looking ahead, they explore what 2026 could mean for UK motorhome owners, from major changes to driving licence rules and van weight limits, to the looming EU travel changes like the Entry/Exit system and ETIAS visa waivers. If you're planning to buy, sell, travel or simply stay ahead of the curve, this one's for you. It's everything you need to understand the current landscape, make smarter decisions, and get the most out of your motorhome in 2026. The Chad & Cheese Holiday Clip Show (aka: HR's Greatest Hits of 2025) We cracked open the vault and stitched together the smartest, loudest, and most brutally honest moments from this year's conversations — because nothing says “holiday cheer” like calling BS on broken hiring. This episode delivers a full snack tray of takes from leaders who actually run hiring at scale:
In this holiday special, The World visits Greenland. Former Greenlandic Prime Minister Mute B. Egede stated this year, “We do not want to be Danish, we do not want to be American. We want to be Greenlandic.” We look at divided opinions around the territory's independence. Also, a look at Denmark's controversial parenting test that resulted in a disproportionate number of Inuit families being separated. And, an official apology from Denmark for forcing Indigenous women and girls from Greenland into using contraceptive devices beginning in the 1960s. Also, a look at how a new international airport in the capital Nuuk is trying to keep up with an influx of tourists. Plus, how the abandoned village of Qoornoq is seeing a revival. Christmas can look beautiful on the outside—but for many overwhelmed moms, it feels absolutely crushing on the inside. In this episode of No Guilt Mom, JoAnn shares her personal story of Christmas burnout and offers powerful mom help and parenting tips to take back your power during the holidays. In this episode, JoAnn shares the story of her Christmas Day breakdown six years ago—the moment she realized she couldn't keep carrying the invisible weight of the holidays alone. The exhaustion. The resentment. The feeling of being unappreciated while everyone else relaxed. If you've ever wondered why the holidays leave you depleted instead of joyful, this episode is for you.JoAnn walks you through three powerful mindset reframes that help moms stop doing everything, start feeling respected, and create holidays that feel lighter—without waiting for anyone else to change first. In this episode, you'll learn:Why feeling unappreciated doesn't mean your family doesn't care—it often means your work is invisibleHow to make invisible labor visible without guilt, nagging, or resentmentThe truth behind the belief “If I don't do it, everything will fall apart”Why resentment isn't a character flaw—it's dataHow boundaries actually work (and why most of us were taught them wrong)What it looks like to stop crossing the “resentment bridge” during the holidaysHow doing less can actually lead to more support, respect, and connectionThis episode is a gentle but powerful invitation to stop blaming yourself, stop over-functioning, and start choosing a different way—one that allows you to enjoy the holidays and feel valued in your own home. You don't have to overhaul everything this year. One small shift in how you think—and what you take on—can change how you feel.
Send us a textIn this Weight Loss Wednesday, I'm answering the second round of the most common questions people are asking right now in December. These are the real-life, boots-on-the-ground questions that come up when family, food, holidays, and pressure all collide at the same time. We're talking about comments from family, holiday overeating, the week between Christmas and New Year's, restraint collapse, tracking over the holidays, and how to stop telling yourself you'll “start again in January.” This episode is practical and focused on helping you keep going, even when things feel messy. In this episode, I talk about:How to handle family comments about your body, your weight, or what's on your plateWhy you don't always need to confront people and how to decide when it's worth itWhat to do if you overeat on Christmas DayHow to mentally reset after a hard day without turning it into a hard weekWhy hydration and fiber matter more than you think after holiday eatingWhat to do if the entire week between Christmas and New Year's starts to slideHow to rein things back in without “starting over”How overbuying food can quietly set you up to overeatWhat restraint collapse is and why it shows up hard after the holidaysHow the language of “I deserve this” can hide self-sabotageWhether you should track calories over Christmas or take a breakWhy knowing what you ate this year helps you next yearHow to get back on track after the holidaysHow to stop the “I'll start again in January” mindsetHow a simple mindset shift can change your entire JanuaryThis episode is about staying grounded, realistic, and intentional during one of the hardest times of the year to do that. You don't need perfection. You don't need to wait for January. You just need to keep going. You can do this. Even if it's hard. Even if it's messy. Today's episode came to me as I was about to hop in the shower, and I started listening to a podcast about “romanticizing winter”. It's definitely not something I would have been intrigued by in the past, but I LOVED it. After listening, I thought “what if we romanticized our fitness journey?!”Like…I'm not a winter girlie at ALL (probably never will be), but something about softening into a season I usually resist made me think about softening into fitness, too. And no…not toxic positivity or pretending life is “perfect”. Think more intention, emotion, and calm to something that can feel so HARSH this time of year.I don't want December fitness to feel like pressure. I don't need the “push harder, grind harder” vibe right now, and neither do you. This season can be chaotic AF, and you don't need to bully yourself into hustling when your bandwidth just isn't there. This holiday season, you don't need more discipline. You need more connection, intention, and moments that feel GOOD!!Episode recap:Why “romanticizing your fitness” helps you soften pressure & stay consistent this seasonShifting from harsh motivation to calm & intentional energy to support your habitsThe role of emotion, beauty & reward in creating sustainable habit loopsHow soft structure reduces burnout + builds self-trust5 ways to romanticize your fitnessWhy small wins matter MOST right nowHow slowing down can actually move you forwardWhy intention > discipline during busy seasonsWhy every positive choice compounds right nowLinks/Resources: Trying Not to Care Podcast | Romanticizing Winter: How to Enjoy the Holiday Season and Love Your LifeEp. 219 | Overeating During the Holidays: How to Stop the “Screw-It” Spiral + Actually Break the CycleGrab your FREE Body Recomp Meal Prep and get the UFYF NewsletterListen to the Girls with Opinions PodcastJoin FIT CLUB, my monthly membership with workouts you can do at home or the gymPRIVATE COACHING is my 1:1 program (choose 3 or 6 month option)Connect with me on Instagram @kristycastillofit and @unfuckyourfitnesspodcast so we can keep this conversation going-be sure to tag me in your posts and stories!Join my FREE Facebook group, Unf*ck Your FitnessClick HERE for my favorite fitness & life things!Send me a text with episode ideas or just to say hi! In this episode of the Journey Beyond Divorce Podcast, Karen McMahon sits down with divorce attorney Andrea Vacca, Esq. to explore the unique pressures of the holiday season when you're considering divorce. This is the stage where uncertainty weighs heavily, information is still being gathered, and you may not be ready—or safe—to share your plans with anyone. Family gatherings, traditions, and expectations continue around you, even as you quietly wonder what the new year will bring. Karen and Andrea bring compassionate clarity to this "secret season," discussing how to stay grounded, make strategic decisions, and approach the holidays with intention rather than panic. They dive into the five common fears that surface during this time: the fear of not holding it together in front of family, making the wrong decision under holiday pressure, being discovered before you're ready, facing financial fallout in the new year, and feeling responsible for disrupting your children's sense of family or holiday joy. Through their conversation, you'll learn how to navigate family events without revealing too much, maintain your boundaries when emotions run high, and distinguish between reacting emotionally and preparing strategically. Karen and Andrea also discuss how to gather information safely and privately during the holiday season and how to use quiet moments and year-end reflection to get grounded. They explain why January is often the month of decisions and how to enter it with confidence and clarity. The episode naturally leads into Andrea's Pre-Divorce Guidance Package, offering legal clarity alongside emotional and strategic support so that listeners can move into the new year equipped, confident, and prepared to make informed choices about their future. This conversation is essential listening for anyone navigating the complexities of divorce while managing the emotional and practical pressures of the holiday season. The festive season promises joy, connection and celebration, but for many of us, it also brings a surge of pressure, exhaustion and body shame.Between shifting hormones, shorter days, family expectations, and the myth of “New Year, New You,” winter can feel like a battle you didn't sign up for, especially for midlife women. This episode is a deep, compassionate guide to wintering well. Together with our guest, Sally Duffin, we look at how we can honour our body's natural rhythms, protect our energy, and navigate the season without sacrificing our well-being.We explore why the body changes during perimenopause and menopause, especially in winter, and why fighting biology with strict diets, over-giving, or pushing through fatigue only leads to burnout. You'll learn how modern holiday culture clashes with ancient winter rhythms, and how understanding this can finally release the guilt around cravings, tiredness, and needing more rest.Inside this conversation, we cover:The real reason winter feels harder for midlife women (it's not lack of willpower)Why weight loss pressure in January is biologically and emotionally counterproductiveThe emotional toll of “being everything to everyone” during the holidaysHow to set strong, unapologetic boundaries, including using “no” as a complete sentencePractical nutrition strategies to stabilise energy and mood through the seasonHow to enjoy festive food without blood sugar crashes or guiltAlcohol habits, portion sizes and the power of a nourishing breakfastThe role of morning daylight, rest and slow evenings in supporting hormonal balanceLetting go of perfectionism and sharing the seasonal load instead of carrying it allThis episode is especially for women in perimenopause or menopause who feel overwhelmed, criticised (internally or externally), or pressured to “keep up” at a time when their body is asking for something different. If you're craving a calmer, kinder, more grounded festive season, these insights will help you reconnect with yourself, reclaim your energy, and step into winter with confidence, not shame.Sally Duffin is a health writer, speaker, nutrition practitioner, and author of ‘Natural Nutrition for Perimenopause – What to eat to feel good and stay sane'.Her friendly, compassionate, and practical approach to nutrition has helped hundreds of peri/menopausal women enjoy life-changing transformations in their health and well-being.She also writes about nutrition and natural health for wellness brands, supplement companies, and solo practitioners. In this episode, we're kicking off the Surviving & Thriving in December series with three powerful mindset shifts that can help you navigate the season with more calm, more clarity, and a whole lot less pressure. As a special education teacher, I've lived through my share of over-the-top Decembers—trying to make it magical for my students, my coworkers, and my own family. Today's episode walks you through three mindset shifts that will help you reclaim your peace and set a grounded tone for your classroom. In this episode, you'll learn:✨ Mindset Shift #1: Ditch Perfectionism Why “done is better than perfect” matters now more than ever—and how letting go of unrealistic expectations can transform your December.✨ Mindset Shift #2: Release the Guilt How guilt disguises itself as responsibility, and how to give yourself permission to say no, do less, and let “enough” be enough.✨ Mindset Shift #3: Bring Down the Tone of the Holidays How lowering the emotional volume helps students regulate, paras feel less overwhelmed, and you maintain your sanity. Plus, I share a personal story about my daughter's favorite Christmas memory—and why it had nothing to do with big plans or perfect decorations.✨ Final Thought: Give Yourself the Gift of Grace A gentle reminder that you deserve compassion in this season just as much as anyone else. This episode is perfect for you if…Your students are extra dysregulated and you're feeling the pressureYou're tired of trying to “make December magical” for everyone but yourselfYou want practical, mindset-based strategies to keep your classroom groundedYou're craving permission to simplify, slow down, and breatheSign up to be notified each time a new episode airs and get access to all the discounts!Don't forget to leave a review of the show!Follow JenniferInstagramTPT
