Michael Cromie is a former NCAA Division I golfer at the University of Georgia.  After graduating from UGA, Mike played competitive golf for a short while, but pivoted away from the profession when PGA TOUR winner, Chris Kirk, hired him as a part-time caddy.    After some quick success together Mike decided to become a full-time caddy for Kirk and the Georgia couple has been together for multiple seasons since. Brad Rourke, CEO, and Thomas Mumford, President of Scottie Resources (TSX.V:SCOT – OTCQB:SCTSF), both join us to review the key aspects of the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) released to the market on October 28th.  Additionally, we get an update on the bulk sample progress, the main objectives focused on in the 2025 drill program, and the feasibility-level ore sorting study underway at the Scottie Gold Mine Project; located in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia.   The PEA outlines a robust Direct-Ship Ore ("DSO") development scenario for the Scottie Gold Mine Project, with strong economics and leverage to the current gold price environment, and additional upside potential through toll milling.   The base case DSO project delivers an after-tax NPV(5%) ranging from CAD$215.8 million to CAD$668.3 million at gold prices of US$2,600/oz and US$4,200/oz, respectively. Importantly, the PEA also presents the opportunity to utilize excess capacity at the nearby Premier mill through a toll-milling arrangement, which could significantly enhance project economics. Under this scenario, the after-tax NPV(5%) increases to CAD$380.1 million at US$2,600/oz and CAD$831.7 million at US$4,200/oz (note: no toll-milling agreement is currently in place). The PEA contemplates an initial capital cost of CAD$128.6 million and average annual production of approximately 65,400 ounces of gold over a seven-year mine life. The project demonstrates a compelling after-tax payback period of 1.7 years for the standalone DSO case, and just 0.9 years under the toll-milling opportunity at a gold price of US$2,600/oz. The DSO project is planned to commence with open pit mining at the Blueberry Contact Zone, closely followed by underground mining at the Blueberry Contact Zone, and subsequently the Scottie Gold Mine. The mined material will be then jaw crushed and sorted using an XRF based ore sorting system. The upgraded product will be transported to the Stewart bulk shipping facility located 40 km down an existing road to be shipped overseas. The material would be then sold to Ocean Partners based on the negotiated terms in the existing offtake agreement The company then plans to move straight into work streams for a Feasibility Study (FS) with actual cost estimates and more detailed economics as the next major economic study to be undertaken 8-10 months after all the 2025 drill results from the 27,309 meter program are in hand.   We got into the resource assumptions used in the PEA, but both Brad and Thomas outlined how these resources are going to expand now that 4 diamond drill rigs were turning this year in the largest exploration program to date, across different parts of the high-priority Blueberry Contact Zone, and around the past-producing Scottie Gold Mine. A key initiative was infilling areas with tighter spacing, focused on upgrading the resources from inferred to indicated categories at the Blueberry Contact Zone. However many of the holes will also go deeper doing some true exploration work with a focus on expanding the potential open pit and upper portions of the underground resources at both Blueberry and Scottie areas.   Next we touched on the ongoing 10,000-tonne surface bulk sampling program where they have completed the blasting and mucking of mineralized material from the road-accessible outcropping Bend Vein located on the north end of the Scottie Gold Mine Project. Brad Rourke, CEO of Scottie Resources (TSX.V:SCOT – OTCQB:SCTSF), joins us to review the latest batch of high-grade gold assay results from the largest ever drill program, and a number of key ongoing initiatives and further derisking work building towards an upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), with a bulk sample in progress, and an ore sorting study underway at the Scottie Gold Mine Project; located in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia.   We start off reviewing the next batch of high-grade drill results returned from the ongoing planned 25,000 meters exploration program at the Blueberry Contact Zone.   Highlights:   Blueberry Contact drillhole SR25-370 intersected 7.43 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 18.75 metres (m), including 30.0 g/t gold over 3.3 m at the Lemoffe vein zone (Table 1, Figures 1,2,4). Blueberry Contact drillhole SR25-369 intersected 37.0 g/t gold over 2.85 m at the Blueberry vein zone (Table 1, Figures 1,2,3). Blueberry Contact drillhole SR25-365 intersected 9.99 g/t gold over 4.00 m at the Fifi vein zone (Table 1, Figures 1,2). Blueberry Contact drillhole SR25-367 intersected 61.9 g/t gold over 1.00 m at the Fifi vein zone (Table 1, Figures 1,2).   Brad highlights that 4 diamond drill rigs have been turning across the property at the high-priority Blueberry Contact Zone, around the past-producing Scottie Gold Mine, including at the Wolf Zone discovered last season, and at the C & D veins. Brad points out that about 21,000 meters has been drilled thus far, and that the big percentage of that will be infilling areas with tighter spacing, focused on upgrading the resources from inferred to indicated categories at the Blueberry Contact Zone.  However many of the holes will also go deeper doing some true exploration work with a focus on expanding the potential open pit and upper portions of the underground resources at both Blueberry and Scottie areas.   Ongoing geotechnical and hydrogeology drilling will also provide data to inform mine design and assist efforts with the recent initiation of Baseline Environmental Studies. With all this exploration and fieldwork now underway, the Company remains on track to deliver a low-capex PEA based on a Direct Shipment Ore (DSO) scenario in October.  Brad reiterates that the management team and board believes this coming economics study will clearly highlight the significant, untapped value of the Scottie Gold Mine Project.  The company then plans to springboard over the Pre-Feasibility Study and head straight into work streams for a Feasibility Study (FS) with actual cost estimates and more detailed economics as the next major economic study to be undertaken.   Next we touched on the ongoing 10,000-tonne surface bulk sampling program where they have been blasting and mucking mineralized material from the road-accessible outcropping Bend Vein located on the north end of the Scottie Gold Mine Project.  Bulk sample progressing on schedule, where the mucking has now been completed and crushing and transport has commenced down the Granduc road. Brad outlines that this bulk sample will be a nice opportunity to learn more about a number of metrics and provide a nice proof of concept, as well as generating some non-dilutive capital for the Company in the process.   When reviewing their direct-ship ore strategy, Brad highlighted that Scottie has one of the closest gold projects to a deep-sea shipping terminal, which based on its location is positioned in one of North America's cheapest commercial shipping lanes to Asia. The White House has been home to a menagerie of pets, from working animals such as horses and sheep, to companions of the Scottish Terrier and Siamese cat varieties - with the odd raccoon, cow, or badger thrown in, as well. Like the almost 90 million American households who have a pet, many First Families have brought animals home even when the address was 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. White House Historical Association president Stewart McLaurin meets Alan Price, director of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, and takes a tour of their new exhibit, Presidential Pets. Museum curators have gathered rarely seen items from their own collection, including dog biscuits kept in President Kennedy's desk to feed the pups who visited him in the Oval Office. Other Presidential Libraries and Museums have loaned dozens of items to help tell the story of the creatures who have inhabited the White House. The combined 0-6 Bears, Browns, and Jets lost by a combined 74 points on Sunday. But it is still a victory Monday around here as we welcome Kevin Van Valkenburg to the Fried Egg Golf team. Though he has been a contributor to SGS in the past, he's now on the FE ship full time so we bring him on to bat it around following the weekend of Brocore, Wentworth, and continued Ryder Cup hype. We discuss Scottie Scheffler — his mere presence — putting everyone around him on the fritz, like Ben Griffin, who could have, should have won the Brocore. Did it take a low stakes fall event to really convince us the Tiger invocations are not out of line? Maybe. They also discuss king mule Lanto's involvement in the proceedings and Jackson Koivun needing to stay on Tour and not go back to school. At Wentworth, they discuss Alex Noren being a top 20 player in the world and for sure a top 12 option for Team Europe who will be relegated to the ass-cap role. Then the notion of VR headsets preparing the Euro Ryder Cup team for battle is also bandied about with some amusement. With Andy lost in an airport (not at sea), Brendan! once again called upon PJ to step into the "big chair" to close out the second round of the 2025 FedEx Cup playoffs. After he was unable to make history as the defending FedEx Cup champ last week, Scottie Scheffler fought back with a vengeance at Caves Valley. Scottie chased down Big Shot Bob MacIntyre in the final pairing, putting an exclamation point on his latest win with a chip-in on the 17th hole. Brendan shares some insight from his weekend on the ground, covering pace-of-play and a proper showcase of the top 50 players on the PGA Tour. One of those 50, Ben Griffin, had a rocky start to his Sunday and shared post-round that it was due to an "overdose" on creatine, sending Brendan and PJ into a tizzy. Jon Rahm was not in Baltimore, but he was in Indianapolis for LIV's individual season finale. He took home overall champion honors after a Sunday 60, but lost the weekly event to Sebastian Muñoz in a playoff. Brendan and PJ discuss the absurdity of Rahm - who did not win all year - beating out Joaquin Niemann's five-win season for the 2025 LIV title. LIV relegation is also a hot topic as big names now have to play elsewhere next season. The "Lads Club" is in full effect for Ryder Cup Europe with both Harry Hall and Marco Penge having big weeks despite seemingly having no shot at the 12th spot on the European roster. On the American side, Keegan Bradley had a nice Sunday at Caves Valley, but questions remain whether he should pick himself to play at Bethpage following a t-4 from Sam Burns. PJ then celebrates a long-awaited Victory Monday after Dick Green wins the Champs Tour event in Calgary. Brendan wraps up a great week of golf at Olympic Club for the U.S. Am, and shares an unsubstantiated rumor about next year's PGA Tour schedule to end this episode.
