The content gods have blessed this Friday episode with a piece of news that Andy has called "maybe my favorite thing that's ever happened on the PGA Tour." Vijay Singh, a 62-year-old who did not finish in the Top 20 of the Schwab Cup standings on last year's Champions Tour, has decided to use his career money list exemption for full status for 2026 on the PGA Tour! Brendan and Andy do a bit of a deep dive into Vijay's recent PGA Tour results and Andy applauds him for using this exemption despite calls for scarcity and cuts from the top of the new Tour food chain. Andy even goes as far as to say that he will still be in high spirits if the Bears lose on Saturday because he knows Vijay will tee it up at the Sony next week! In other PGA Tour field news, Scottie Scheffler has committed to the AmEx and WM Phoenix Open, marking the first starts of his 2026 season. With no Sentry, the AmEx has a much better field than in recent years, but Scottie will still likely be three-to-one or less to win the event. Brendan then segues to the biggest news of this week: Derek Sprague's departure from the PGA of America. Sprague stepped down as CEO, leaving an opening in the PGA of America's leadership that could really only be filled by one man. Is this Don's path to permanent relevancy? We'll have to just wait and see. There is also a VERY important Nico Minute in this episode, as a new sponsor has stepped up for a podcast favorite this year. The back half of this episode contains the yearly Over-Under segment, with Brendan, Andy, and PJ making predictions for the rest of the year. Will the major scoring record be broken? How many wins for Rory and Scottie? Can Cameron Young finish in the OWGR Top 10? Will the Bears beat the Packers twice in this calendar year? Listen to find out! Join us in Chicagoland for an SGS Live Show on Thursday, February 12! We'll be hanging out at SPACE in Evanston, Illinois for a night of Q&A, Champs Tour Minute, and plenty of Bears chatter. General public tickets are on sale at 10 am CT on Friday, January 9. Check out https://www.ticketweb.com/event/the-shotgun-start-space-tickets/14054084?pl=space for more details.

Andy and Brendan's Christmas wish for a "Home Alone" episode to finish out 2025 has come true! The Boys take over the feed for this final look back at the year in professional golf as Joseph and PJ recap the 3M Open and Wyndham Championship. Before getting to what was perhaps the most important tournament of the season, The Boys first discuss TGL's Season 2 debut on Sunday. Billy Horschel took down NYGC again, continuing to be the bane of the entire city's existence according to the broadcast. Billy was joined by Chris Gotterup and Corey Conners on the Atlanta Drive as last-minute replacement players for the suddenly-injured Patrick Cantlay and Lucas Glover. Despite only having one (1) of the team's four (4) players active, Atlanta still managed to clean up against Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele. Joseph and PJ discuss some standout new holes designed by Augie Pizá and share some excitement for this Friday's Ballfrogs match. There's also been a bit of major golf news since we've been away - Talor Gooch is now the captain of Smash GC! Joseph reads from a new LIV article detailing Gooch's approach to his newfound captaincy and the fallout from Brooks Koepka leaving the league with one year remaining on his contract. The Boys try to game out where this leaves Brooks to play in 2026 and PJ wonders if an easy route back to the PGA Tour for Koepka is coming soon. Bryson DeChambeau is also posturing for a new contract, telling Flushing It that some things need to change for the now-72 hole tour in 2026. After cleaning up the LIV hot stove, The Boys resume the Year in Review with a brief stop at TPC Sod Farms for the 3M Open. Scottie, Bryson, and many more golf stars were in attendance at the "Happy Gilmore 2" premiere this week, but no star shined as bright as Kurt Kityama at an Arnold Palmer design. The Kitty Kat held off challengers like Matt Wallace and Jake Knapp to secure his second PGA Tour win, setting the stage for the 1,000th unique winner in Tour history at the Wyndham. The majority of this episode is, naturally, spent remembering a superstar's win at an iconic Donald Ross venue in North Carolina. Cameron Young ran away with the tournament, beating Mac Meissner by six shots to finally win his first PGA Tour event. Joseph and PJ share the best highlights from the crowning of Mr. 1,000, properly giving this American Ryder Cup hero his flowers despite the best efforts of Andy and Brendan to prevent this from happening. The Boys end the show with a new segment called "Receipts Corner," calling out some who believed this day - or Cameron Young's ensuing end-of-season success - would never come. Andy and Brendan will return in 2026 for another year of covering the amusing, inane, and irreverent moments from professional golf.

In a plot twist that absolutely no one saw coming, Don Rea is somehow NOT the star of this episode recapping the 2025 PGA Championship. Masters winner Rory McIlroy joins Andy, Brendan!, KVV, and PJ to share some thoughts about his own historic year. Rory discusses the Masters win that made him a grand slam champion, his recent travels to Australia, the 2025 Ryder Cup, and much, much more. He even breaks some HUGE TGL news that may lead to one (1) Ballfrog win in 2026! After committing to a future appearance on "Lunch With The Boys," Rory departs and sets the stage for a look back at the 2025 PGA Championship: The Rise of Rea. Andy is tasked with researching the early-week festivities, including dumping rain and a sparsely-attended champions dinner. He then transitions to the main event: Tuesday's press conference featuring Derek Sprague, Kerry Haigh, and Don Rea Jr. Andy reads quotes from our live show from that very day, remembering when PGA members were referred to as "first responders" and recalling his own investigative journalism from a phone call to Augusta Ranch. Kevin Van Valkenburg picks things up for the first two days of play, detailing a leaderboard that prominently featured Jhonattan Vegas, Cam Davis, and Ryan Gerard. Mudballs run rampant after days of rain at Quail Hollow and players like Xander, Scottie, and more are very unhappy! KVV also has the honor of presenting on this year's installment of Blockie-mania, as Michael Block missed the cut after a decent first round. Brendan brings this episode home as he chronicles Scottie Scheffler's dominant Saturday performance that resulted in his third major championship. The 2025 Year in Review, although delayed, will continue on Friday!

"Welcome back to the IMAGEN Golf Podcast. I'm your host, Daniel Guest. As always, we are here with one simple mission: to help you play the best golf of your life, simplify this crazy game, and get you having more fun on the fairway.Look, it's December 17th. The holidays are hitting, the eggnog is flowing, and if you're like most of the 36,000 students I've taught, you're currently doing one of two things: you're either shivering on a heated range trying to find your swing, or you're doom-scrolling through equipment leaks.Today, we're diving into the biggest topic in the world of golf right now: The 2026 Gear Explosion. We've got the new TaylorMade Qi4D, the PING G440 K, and Callaway's 'Quantum' series all hitting the USGA conforming lists. But before you drop two grand on a new bag, we need to talk about what actually matters for your game, not Rory's. We're also going to touch on the 'Silly Season'—Scottie Scheffler just locked up his fourth straight Player of the Year, and Rory is out here breaking news about TGL teams. Is the professional game finally getting its act together, or is it just more noise? Let's get into it."The 2026 Equipment Leaks: Tech or Hype?"Alright, let's talk shop. The USGA Conforming List just blew up.First up, TaylorMade. They're moving from the Qi35 to the Qi4D. Now, I've seen the photos—Scottie's got a dark blue face on his, Rory's got a light grey one. They're calling it '4D.' Does that mean it hits the ball into the fourth dimension? No. It means they've found a new way to market 'forgiveness.'Here's the Daniel Guest reality check: TaylorMade is leaning hard into the 'Max' models again. The Qi4D Max is rumored to push that MOI (Moment of Inertia) even further. But remember what I always tell you: The golf ball does not know what your swing looks like, and it doesn't care how much you paid for the driver. If you're still swinging your Stealth 2 or your old Ping G425 and you're hitting the center of the face, you're fine. But, if you're a high-handicapper struggling with off-center hits, this '4D' tech and the new PING G440 K—which looks like a beast for stability—might actually help you stay in the short grass. The IMAGEN Take: Don't buy the '10 extra yards' story. Buy the 'tighter dispersion' story. If the new Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond helps you keep it on the planet, then we can talk. But if you haven't mastered Pillar 1: Proper Setup, a $700 driver is just a very expensive way to miss the fairway."The State of the Game: Scheffler's Dominance & The TGL"While we're looking at 2026 gear, we have to look at the guy who could win with a broomstick right now: Scottie Scheffler.Four straight Player of the Year awards. He's joining Tiger Woods territory. He won six times in 2025, including two majors. And he did it while the rest of the professional world was arguing about mergers and LIV contracts.Speaking of noise, Rory McIlroy was just on The Shotgun Start announcing Michael Thorbjornsen is joining his TGL team, Boston Common Golf. The TGL launches in January. It's tech-infused, indoor, high-stakes... and I'll be honest, I'm skeptical. Is this what fans want? Or do they just want to see the best players on the best courses? We're seeing Laurie Canter jump back to LIV, giving up a PGA Tour card. We're seeing Kim Si-woo quelling rumors. The 'Silly Season' used to be about fun exhibitions; now it's about where the money is moving. My advice to you: Ignore the drama. Whether it's the PGA Tour, LIV, or TGL, it doesn't change the fact that you have a 10:00 AM tee time on Saturday. Don't let the 'professional' chaos distract you from your own progress."The 7-7-7 Drill & Final ThoughtsDaniel Guest: "Before we wrap, I want to give you something you can actually use. Since it's 'New Club Season,' everyone thinks a new putter is the answer. It's not. Start Line Control is the answer.I want you to use my 7-7-7 Drill Protocol for your putting this week.Set up 7 feet from the hole.Place two coins just wider than a ball about 1 foot in front of you.Roll 7 balls through that gate.If you can't hit a target one foot in front of you, you'll never hit a target seven feet away. It's that simple.Look, 2026 is going to be a massive year for golf. New tech, new leagues, and hopefully, a new version of your game. But remember: Golf doesn't have to be so hard. Get your setup right, load the catapult in the backswing, and make solid contact. Everything else is just marketing.I'm Daniel Guest, and this is IMAGEN Golf. For more drills, head over to ImagenGolf.com and grab my free E-book on how to hit your driver. Let's make 2026 the year you finally stop worrying and start playing.

Dr. Thomas Mumford, President of Scottie Resources (TSX.V:SCOT – OTCQB:SCTSF), joins me to review the key takeaways from the Bulk Sample report, when compared with expectations from the October 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). Additionally, we get an update on the ongoing ore-sorting studies, what was learned from this year's drill program, the preparation for the largest drill program to date in 2026, and the Feasibility Study workstreams underway at the Scottie Gold Mine Project; located in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. The recent PEA outlined a robust Direct-Ship Ore (“DSO”) development scenario for the Scottie Gold Mine Project, with strong economics and leverage to the current gold price environment, and additional upside potential through local toll milling. The DSO process was successfully demonstrated during this trial mining and Bulk Sample, which was mined at the Bend Vein pit at the Scottie Gold Mine Project, then mucked, visually sorted, and crushed over the 2025 summer season. The transportation of this material was completed moving around 100 truckloads of material down the Granduc road to the Stewart bulk shipping facility without any concerns or challenges, and it is going to be shipped over to Ocean Partners imminently. Highlights: An estimated 4,588 wet tonnes have been prepared for export to an Ocean Partners facility in Taiwan with better-than-expected average preliminary assays of 15.89 g/t gold and 42.28 g/t silver Per the Company's agreement with Ocean Partners, a 90% upfront payment is to be received five days after sailing at a gold price of US$4100/oz and silver price of US$49.50/oz Vessel has been booked and is expected to be loaded between December 10th and 12th 2025 The final 10% payment will reconcile any difference between estimated and final ounces and will be priced based on metal values at the time grades are finalized and agreed upon. It is estimated that gold sold will generate a net profit of ~CAD$9Million. Thomas outlines that the company plans to move straight into work streams for a Feasibility Study (FS), with actual cost estimates and more detailed economics, as the next major economic study to be undertaken. The FS is slated to take about 8-10 months after all the 2025 drill results from the 27,309 meter program are in hand and integrated into their resource model. We got into the resource assumptions used in the PEA and Thomas outlined how these resources are going to expand now that 4 diamond drill rigs were turning this year in the largest exploration program to date, across different parts of the high-priority Blueberry Contact Zone, and around the past-producing Scottie Gold Mine. A key initiative was infilling areas with tighter spacing, focused on upgrading the resources from inferred to indicated categories at the Blueberry Contact Zone. However many of the holes also went deeper, doing some true exploration work with a focus on expanding the potential open pit and upper portions of the underground resources at both Blueberry and Scottie areas. Wrapping up we discussed the preparations for the largest drill program to date for 2026, the various Feasibility Study workstreams, and the financial strength of the company which is fully-funded for all these initiatives. If you have any questions for Thomas regarding Scottie Resources, then please email them in to me at Shad@kereport.com. The LA-Barstow-to-Vegas (LAB2V) is a famous, long-running annual two-day dual-sport motorcycle event that covers over 400 miles of mostly off-road desert terrain between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and our very own Charley, Scottie and Hector decided to give it a go. This is not an easy ride, so most people take a light, nimble and capable off road bike something like the KTM EXC500. But of course Misfits don't take the easy ride, and opt for the challenge instead. Charley rode his Yamaha Super Tenere, Hector his KTM 1290 Adventure, and being the wisest among them, Scottie opted for her Husqvarna 701. It might not surprise you to hear that only one of them finished the ride (I wonder who?) but all three arrived safe and had a great time. They share their stories and lessons from the trip, and we talk about what would be the perfect bike for this challenging ride. And due to Charley's unfortunate situation, we take a moment to talk about bearings, how important they are, and how little they've changed in the last 100 years. Interview with Thomas Mumford, President of Scottie Resources Corp. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/scottie-resources-tsxvscot-funded-to-advance-high-grade-2m-oz-gold-asset-in-bc-golden-triangle-5191Recording date: 17th November 2025Scottie Resources is positioning itself as a near-term gold producer through a direct ship ore (DSO) model that bypasses traditional milling infrastructure, targeting commercial production by mid-2028 at its flagship property 40 kilometers north of Stewart, BC. The company's strategic approach leverages existing deep water port facilities and high-grade mineralization outcropping at surface to accelerate project timelines while minimizing capital intensity in an environment of sustained elevated gold prices. The project's location adjacent to North America's northernmost ice-free deep water shipping port provides critical infrastructure advantages. Recently acquired by the Nisga'a First Nation in partnership with Tsimshian people, this facility already services established operations like Brucejack and Red Chris, eliminating concentrate transportation challenges that typically burden remote exploration projects. President Thomas Mumford emphasizes this represents "a simple project" that capitalizes on regional infrastructure rather than requiring standalone processing facilities costing $300-500 million.Ocean Partners secured an 11% equity position while committing $25 million US toward construction financing and an offtake agreement covering the feasibility-level resource. CEO Brent Omland joined Scottie's board concurrent with the transaction, aligning producer and offtaker interests. The agreement incorporates flexible buyout provisions and per-ton penalties rather than restrictive covenants, preserving Scottie's optionality as the project scales. This partnership capitalizes on favorable smelter market dynamics, with structural supply deficits in China driving negative treatment charges that enhance margins for direct ore shipments.Project economics demonstrate significant leverage to elevated gold prices, with preliminary economic assessment showing an NPV of $216 million CAD at $2,600 per ounce expanding to $670 million CAD at $4,200 per ounce with a 150% internal rate of return. The initial 18-month open pit phase targets 80,000 ounces at 7.7 grams per ton, generating sufficient cash flow to self-fund underground development and repay initial capital expenditures. This rapid payback profile reduces execution risk while accelerating unencumbered cash flow generation.Total capital requirements of $130 million CAD will be met through Ocean Partners' facility, traditional project financing structures evaluated post-feasibility study, and open pit cash flow. The company recently launched a $23 million financing round with strong insider participation, including mining entrepreneur Ross Beaty's 5% position. Management plans a competitive process for remaining funding, targeting a 70/30 debt-to-equity ratio that minimizes shareholder dilution while leveraging institutional appetite for senior secured positions in near-production precious metals projects.Permitting progresses through two-year environmental baseline studies initiated summer 2025, positioning Scottie to submit a Joint Permit Amendment Application in 2027. This streamlined pathway modernizes the property's historic mining permit rather than requiring full environmental assessment. Using Ascot Resources' eight-month approval precedent for a more complex operation, Mumford projects mid-2028 permitting completion enabling commercial production that year.First Nations relationships benefit from unique circumstances involving the Nisga'a Nation, BC's only treaty First Nation, whose recent port facility acquisition creates direct economic alignment with regional mining success. The company is negotiating an Impact and Benefit Agreement formalizing commercial terms and community commitments that underpin social license. Beyond near-term production, Scottie maintains active exploration targeting resource expansion from 700,000 ounces toward 2+ million ounces through a planned 10,000-meter drilling campaign in 2026.View Scottie Resources' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/scottie-resources-corpSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
I share a personal journey of self-discovery and the importance of trusting myself. After experiencing a friend's devastating loss, I realized life is too short to chase external validation through Instagram followers or perfect holiday performances. I've learned that what truly matters is being present, listening to my body, and honoring my own feelings. The pressure to be a perfect mom, to say yes to everything, and to meet society's expectations is exhausting. Instead, I'm choosing to protect my peace, redefine success on my terms, and show my kids that it's okay to prioritize your own joy. Every "no" creates space for a meaningful "yes," and by taking care of myself, I'm teaching my children the most important lesson: you are enough, just as you are. Learn more about your ad choices.
