From the late 70's, clear through to the early 90's, I made thousands of mix-tapes; however, there was one from 1983 that always stood out entitled "Rockabilly Killers". It was, at the time, my absolute favorite Rockabilly mix. This episode was created using the original tracklist from that cassette. Who’s on the tape? Give it a listen...you'll hear the cream of the crop!
This week, we'll fight off 90-degree heat with some cool wax. It's an all-rockers show being spun under the hum of an overworked ceiling fan. You'll hear Johnny Rebb, Rocket Morgan, Jack Winston, Troy Ferguson, Jimmy Johnson and so much more! Must...leave...keyboard...before...I...meeeeeelt

Here's an old show I did on the other host a few years ago, I've been so busy this month I've had little time for a new episode, so I thought I'd add one from the vaults, This was one of my personal favorites as I got to spin a lot of great records on this one. For a full story on The Goldband label I recommend this excellent blog by Andrew Brown http://wired-for-sound.blogspot.com/2011/11/goldband-records-early-years.html
