Reliving The War takes a weekly look at the Monday Night Wars. Every week, we look at WWF Raw and WCW Nitro with the goal of watching EVERY episode to see who truly won the war. This week, the WWF are in Berlin, Germany. The company introduces a new title, The European Champion, and Davey Boy Smith vs Owen Hart will determine who becomes the inaugural Champion of Europe. Steve Austin cuts an excellent promo from WWE HQ, Bret Hart takes on Triple H, and the Sycho Sid defends the WWF title against Mankind. On Nitro, confusion reigns supreme. Harvey Schiller makes an appearance and he suspends Eric Bischoff, only for Bischoff to show up later in a live nWo promo. Roddy Piper forms a team of nobodies - The WCW Executive Committee have added the Hot Rod to the Uncensored main event, but fans are still left confused in regards to what exactly is up for grabs at Uncensored and who will fight in the match. Piper chooses a boxer, a kick boxer and a former sumo wrestler to stand at his side during the Uncensored tag match, but who represents the nWo and who represents WCW is still up in the air.
In years past most if not all chemicals that claimed to work on a certain engine or transmission problem were false. Today's modern engines bring a host of new aliments that can be treated effectively with advanced chemistry, and in some instances, is the only way.
HotRod, you are helping us lead a new series called 'Spiritual Bong Hits with HotRod, Getting Natural Highs', a fun title for one of the most fun Dudes. Aptly named for you Brother! You love to question. You love Deep, Fringe, pot stirring questions that push people to think and go 'Whoaaaaaaaaaaa!'. If this is your first episode and you dig, go back to the beginning of season 1, episode 1. Plenty of HotRodisms scattered through those episodes. So my Brother, for this round, we are going to visit your story. Listener needs to better understand your wiring. You and I have been chasing adrenaline, superficial, natural and spiritual highs our whole life. Where would you like to start Brother? That song comes from Dude Nathan Schutes aka Vaquero Gupao, "A Heart Like Mine". We've used it a few moons ago during The Fringe Series. Love that Dude. You know who else has a heart for the Fringe? HotRod! Welcome!
The torque converter does more to define the performance of an engine than the automatic transmission. This fluid connection between the engine and the driveline will impact how well the vehicle drives and will move a load. A must-listen before a shop rebuilds any of your automatic transmissions.

Almost everyone was exposed to Ohm's Law during their school years. This basic and often overlooked law is the foundation of everything that works on electricity, regardless if it is an AC or DC circuit. It is important when diagnosing or adding electrical or electronic equipment to farm machinery to recognize the basic tenant of Ohm's Law, volts X amps = watts.

During the intake stroke the cylinder can be filled in a chaotic way or an orderly manner. Which occurs is by design of the cylinder head and predominantly the intake port. The cylinder fill pattern will impact every aspect of how an engine runs and it is important to understand this effect.

Whether it was in the ring or on the mic - nobody did it like the "HotRod." Rowdy Roddy Piper was instrumental in launching the nationwide wrestling craze in the 80's. Tommy and 'Jumpin' Jay' talk bout the career of Rowdy Roddy Piper and what he meant to the world of wrestling they fell in love with.
Machinery is inanimate and does not have feelings and emotions as living things do. Yet, their operation is influenced by other internal systems that appear unrelated. In that way they do have a low level of feelings and emotions. The medical community identifies the symptoms of a disease or aliment using the term, presents. When it comes to machinery, I have found that you need to recognize this phenomena. An issue in one area often presents as a malady in another, leading your diagnostics down the wrong path.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back to the heyday of the muscle car? To see new Charger's, Chevelle's and Mustangs right off the dealer lot rolling around as everyday cars? For many of us, being a kid in the late 1960's and early 1970's would have been a dream, but for Wade Kawasaki, the President and CEO of Legendary Companies (formerly of the Coker Group), it was a reality. Thrust into the world of wheels at a young age, Wade's automotive journey began in the most innocent of ways, pumping gas and servicing vehicles at his family's Southern California service station. From there Wade went onto work for an automotive parts company and when he noticed that a fair number of customers were coming in from outside of the United States he decided to go out on his own and, with the help of his wife, opened their very own automotive parts export business. That led him to SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and a chance meeting with one of their Vice Presidents and from there, let's just say his career flourished. This is a great episode with one of the leading individuals in the automotive space today, so go grab a beverage, a workbench or something to tinker with and join us for a great conversation with Mr. Wade Kawasaki.

Muscle cars are fascinating machines, aren't they? They're romanticized, sought after, and coveted by their owners to a point that most people will never understand. From a manufacturing standpoint the formula was simple. Pull a mid-sized car from your line-up, stuff the biggest and baddest engines in your arsenal under the hood, and then sell them to the public for a reasonable price. Some of the most desirable were the Mopar B-Bodies produced from 1966-1974. Chargers, Coronets, Satellites, Road Runners, Belvederes and the GTX are all examples of how Ma-Mopar tried to take over the muscle car world. And with a host of big and small blocks, as well as transmissions, combined with some of the best styling to ever come out of Detroit, it's no wonder that both the owners and public alike still look upon them with wonder. On this episode of the Hemmings Hot Rod BBQ Podcast, the crew (who also happen to be owners) talk about why Mopar B-Bodies have stood the test of time and are still a favorite amongst collectors.
