It could not have been easy for him growing up as he was raised by a single mother. Still, he persevered, working hard in school to get a scholarship to come to go to school in the United States. It was not easy for him to learn the language, but he was able to get a masters and a doctorate in engineering. His motivation was always to be able to be a blessing to his kids and help his community. After retirement, he is back to Africa helping his community there. I am praying and hoping that one day in the next 4 years that he will be the next president of our county, Guinea (Conakry.) This week on the program I spoke to Jy wright, a film producer. He is a producing a short film about child trafficking, which is in the process of being submitted to a film festival. I had an opportunity to interview James Richardson on my radio show this week. Wow, what an inspirational person, after you hear James' story you will find reasons to be thankful and find joy every day in your life. James' story is one of a kind, it made me think about my life in a different way. This is someone that face challenges every day in his life, but he chose to focus on being a blessing to others instead of himself. James has an illness and was told that he would only live until he was 19 years old. Now he is 27 years old! He is still here with us and living his dreams and being a blessing to the world.
