This is the first episode of Fantasy Friday's! Its a heap of fun where Bermo talks with Col, a long time friend and commissioner of their primary Dynasty NFL Fantasy football league "No Touching of the Hair or Face" which has been running for 5+ years. Bermo and Col get into the best and worst choices they have made with the Dynasty league, the upcoming rookies and next step players like Ronald Jones II, Breshard Perriman and plenty more. Let me know what you think! Enjoy.
Kevin, Dave, and Mike do their best to try and give you as much information possible in about an hour on a startup draft. We look at players we expect to greatly outperform their current ADP. Last year it was Aaron Jones, Derrick Henry, Breshard Perriman, Miles Sanders, DJ Chark, Lamar Jackson and a whole bunch more. This year could it be a rookie stand out RB like Jonathan Taylor or Clyde Edwards-Helaire? Is it a wide receiver like Preston Williams? Does one of last year's rookie tight ends Noah Fant or T.J. Hockenson become this year's Darren Waller or Mark Andrews? We do a whole bunch of "would you rather?". Some of them are position based like Dak Prescott, Kyler Murray, or DeShaun Watson. Others include second year running backs Devin Singletary, David Montgomery and Damien Harris. We talk about high draft capital swings and misses like Corey Davis, Sammy Watkins, and Mike Williams? Dave even slips Preston Williams into that convo. Then throughout that all we share our most overvalued and undervalued players for a start up. Carson Wentz, Nick Chubb, Marquise Brown, Cooper Kupp, Kenyan Drake, and Mark Andrews are all one or the other! If you are looking for some quick hits of advice before entering a start up this is the podcast to listen to. If you think we don't talk about rookies like Jerry Jeudy, Joe Burrow and Cam Akers enough it's because we'll talk about them on the next pod, all rookies! Also if you're Kevin you can't talk about Cam Akers enough. Please like, subscribe, tell a friend and most importantly just enjoy the podcast. SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Holden Kushner joins Greg to recap Week 14 and work the Week 15 waiver wire en route to glory in the 2019 fantasy football playoffs. Their booms of the week kick things off. Holden laments the loss of Calvin Ridley while celebrating the ascension of Ian Thomas, and Greg wonders if he can run back Joe Mixon against New England next week. Ryan Tannehill also went boom, but he did so from Greg's bench. Was the benching process sound, though? Greg argues that touchdown regression could still be on the table for Tannehill going forward. Busts of the week come next, featuring Jack Doyle and Brandin Cooks, but also with hat tips to the inactive Josh Jacobs and the laundry list of players who ended up injured on Sunday. The second half of the show is a breakdown of the Week 15 waiver wire. Should Raheem Mostert or DeAndre Washington be the top priority at running back? Are Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, and Patrick Laird even worth additions considering their poor offensive situations? Why aren't Zach Pascal and A.J. Brown already owned in more leagues? Did Week 14's injuries to Mike Evans and DeVante Parker create more opportunity at wide receiver in Tampa or Miami? Speaking of the Bucs, is O.J. Howard finally back on the fantasy radar? Can Case Keenum salvage Terry McLaurin's value? Who are the top streaming options at quarterback and defense? What other lingering questions and difficult decisions will keep Greg and Holden up at night as Week 15 approaches?
