Yarbs and Will are back and today they open with the ACC's “Halloween Massacre,” Dabo's ref-blasting and why officiating needs accountability just like coaches and players. Then it's CFP rankings hysteria vs. reality, an Oregon gut-check, and a detour into band lore—from LSU's 66-year-old tuba rookie to Ohio State's family “dot the i” moment. The guys rip into the ESPN vs. YouTube TV carriage fight and the streaming sprawl that made “cutting the cord” a joke, hit NASCAR with Denny Hamlin's heartbreak, and serve up Get Off My Lawn: pharma-commercial dance numbers, and why Dallas is absolutely not “America's Team.” They also rapid-fire the week's oddities (Tom Brady's cloned dog), Tuberville's tone-deaf comments, and their 3-on-3 of most overrated movies (prepare yourself: The Dark Knight, Titanic, Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, Citizen Kane catch strays). Finally, they celebrate the Panthers' stunner over Green Bay, size up Saints-week stakes, debate Bills-Chiefs regular season vs. playoff truth, and wonder if Kyler's time in Arizona is over with Jacoby Brissett thriving. Chaos, jokes, and strong takes—exactly how Breaking Sports likes it.
Adam Musto joins Mitch to discuss Week 9 in the NFL, where the Buffalo Bills notched a statement win over the Kansas City Chiefs and Lions and Packers were upset at home. The fellas discuss the wild Bears win over the Bengals, Sam Darnold's electric play, and Jayden Daniels brutal injury. They also analyze the Cardinals decision to bench Kylar Murray for Jacoby Brissett and the Jets unloading two of their best players at the trade deadline. The guys preview Week 10 in the NFL, and list their favorite games on the slate. And they recap a wild and exciting World Series that saw the Los Angeles Dodgers pull out one of the most improbable titles ever over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Why did the Hawks trade for Shaheed and what does he bring to this offense that's already having success? :30- The Seahawks host the Cardinals on Sunday and the biggest story is what's going on with Kyler Murray? - Lumberbuck is back! Have we been underestimating the Seahawks? Usually we are guilty of thinking our teams are better than the National folks give them credit for, but this time, we might need to be the ones to catch up. National talking heads are saying things like the Seahawks are at the front of the line as far as SB teams, and how will anyone defend them now? NFL has them #1 in their power rankings this week! We were positive this team would be better than the preseason talk and rankings had them listed, but even we couldn't predict this. :30- Jorge Polanco declined his option with the Mariners and will test free agency, but the Mariners could still bring him back if the price is right. Murakami is the latest Japanese sensation to head to the US and the Mariners are being mentioned in every conversation regarding the corner infielder, what would it cost? :45- Kyler Murray has been sent to IR, but how did it come to this? From supposedly getting ready to start on MNF, to the IR in just days, is it really the injury or was Arizona just done with the former first-round pick? Bucky is Lumber Bucking at home today after a tree fell across his driveway last night and we have some NFL trade deadline excitement to talk about! John Schneider didn't disappoint us yesterday, trading a 4th & 5th round draft pick to the Saints for wide receiver, Rashid Shaheed. Nationally, we saw a lot of people praising this trade as the Hawks add more fire power to an already humming offense. The NY Jets and Dallas Cowboys were also active ahead of the deadline and while we can understand the moves the Jets made, the question still remains whether or not they will be able to make smart choices with their increased draft capital and did they give away enough to ensure the 1st or 2nd pick? There are a lot of questions surrounding Dallas' moves as the team is 3-5 and doesn't seem like a legit SB contender, but… Jerry's gonna Jerry. :30- The College Football Rankings show premiered last night and while the rankings don't matter until the end, it's still fun to see where teams line up the first week of November. Does Oregon deserve the #9 spot? There are quite a few teams with no room for error and the Dawgs made the list at #23. :45- We now have our answer for who the Seahawks will face on Sunday when the Cardinals come to town and Jacoby Brissett will get the start. Is Arizona just done with Murray? Is he actually injured? Is it just safer to go with Brissett? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Headlines and 12th Man News with GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) We get the latest from Gregg on the Rashid Shaheed and the decision to bring in another wide receiver. Was John Scheider looking at other possible moves? :30- The Mariners had some decisions to make. Some may have been difficult, others… not so much. :35- It's Fact or Fiction time! :45- Let's get Reckless at Breakfast! Has Kyler Murray started his last game for the Arizona Cardinals? Yes, he's injured, but is there more to it? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
