You don't need to spend early draft capital on wide receivers to find league-winning production. Addison and John break down five WRs being drafted outside the top 12 at the position who could dramatically outperform their ADP: Jaylen Waddle, Chris Olave, Jaden Reed, Devonta Smith and Chris Godwin. From Waddle's opportunity to become Denver's alpha to Reed's elite efficiency, Devonta Smith's new role in Philadelphia and Godwin's massive mid-round discount, these are the WR values we're targeting in 2026 fantasy football drafts. The same player isn't the same value on every platform. ESPN, Yahoo and Sleeper all price players differently, which means the guy you're reaching for in one league is a bargain in another. Kendall Valenzuela and Peter Overzet go position by position and platform by platform to find the biggest gaps between where each site's ADP has a player and where Kendall actually ranks him. Every value comes with the exact math: the positional ADP, Kendall's positional rank, the difference, and how many spots of overall value you're capturing. At quarterback it's Justin Herbert on ESPN, going as the QB14 at pick 106 despite ranking as a top-10 quarterback — a twenty-spot overall gap. Brock Purdy is the Yahoo answer, Trevor Lawrence the Sleeper one, and Caleb Williams and Joe Burrow show up in the top-five value lists too. Running back gets interesting because Kenneth Walker is the answer on both ESPN and Yahoo, but at meaningfully different prices, while Sleeper's ADP creates a much bigger opening on Rhamondre Stevenson. At receiver it's three different names entirely: Mike Evans on ESPN, Garrett Wilson on Yahoo, and Chris Godwin on Sleeper. Tight end is where it gets strange. Dalton Kincaid on ESPN and Mark Andrews on Yahoo are both positional values that come with negative overall value — meaning you're getting a good tight end at a bad total price, which is a trap worth understanding before you take one. Sleeper is the only platform where the math works cleanly. Each position also gets the full top-five value board for that platform, so you're not just walking away with one name. Find out which site you're drafting on and draft accordingly.
Picking from the 11 spot, Patrick Daugherty (@RotoPat), Denny Carter and Kyle Dvorchak (@kyletweetshere) attempt to draft the “near perfect” team. That apparently includes CeeDee Lamb in the first, Kenneth Walker III in the second, Breece Hall in the third and so much more. They debate Jaylen Waddle’s career-year odds, DJ Moore’s bounce-back potential, and Chris Godwin’s career status, amongst many other discussions. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Rick Stroud reports live from Jacksonville after a joint practice the Bucs would rather forget — Baker Mayfield admitted afterward that "if this was a full game, I don't think we would have come out on the winning side," and Chris Godwin, in his tenth year, called out the team for getting out-physicaled by Liam Cohen's Jaguars. Rick and Steve break down what went wrong, why a wake-up call now beats one in Cincinnati, and the real bright spots buried in a rough day: Tristan Wirfs back in full pads and moving well, Rueben Bain Jr. continuing to wreck practice reps, and Benjamin Morrison finally getting through a complete practice for the first time in ages. They also preview Friday's preseason finale against the Jaguars and the roster crunch coming this weekend as the Bucs cut from 90 to 53.On the Rays, Tampa Bay's AL East remains at 3.5 games after a 4-1 loss to Detroit, with Rick and Steve digging into the tiebreaker math that still favors the Rays down the stretch, a remarkable stat line from an opposing starter who didn't get a single swing-and-miss in over 80 pitches against Tampa Bay's contact-heavy lineup, and what the Rays need from their rotation to hold on. They close with a tribute to Dolly Parton, who died at 80. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

What does a GREAT season look like for the Buccaneers in 2026? After failing to win the NFC South last season, I believe winning the division is the first step — and honestly, it's a MUST for this team. But I need more than just a division title; with the talent on this roster, from Baker Mayfield and Chris Godwin to Tristan Wirfs, Bucky Irving, Emeka Egbuka, Vita Vea, Antoine Winfield Jr., Kalijah Cancey and Rueben Bain Jr., I believe the Bucs are capable of making noise in January. For me, the formula is simple: win the NFC South, get into the playoffs and win a playoff game. Could this team accomplish more? Absolutely. But based on where this franchise was last season, if the final whistle blows and Tampa Bay has won the division and a playoff game, I'd call that a GREAT season. Where do you set the bar?
Rick Stroud and Steve Versnick preview the Buccaneers' preseason opener against the Jets at MetLife Stadium, breaking down who's likely to play and who's held out. Expect several key veterans to sit (Baker Mayfield, Chris Godwin, and Tristan Wirfs among them), while rookies and young players trying to make a mark get extended run — first-round pick Rueben Bain Jr., backup QB Jalon Daniels, undrafted corner Ayden Garnes, edge rusher David Walker returning from a torn ACL, and running back Josh Williams. Rick shares what it meant to Garnes and Daniels to finally take the field in the NFL.Then it's mailbag time. Rick and Steve field listener questions on how long teammates will stay patient with Vita Vea's contract holdout, the Bucs' biggest weakness heading into the season (hint: it's cornerback depth), Rick's most memorable preseason game after decades on the beat (a trip to Tokyo for the 2002 American Bowl), whether the Rays are a lock to win the AL East, whether a title run helps secure stadium funding, and which Tampa Bay team — Bucs, Bolts, or Rays — is most likely to bring home the next championship.Plus a look ahead: the Rays return home from a 9-0 road trip to host the Orioles in a four-game series this weekend. Kendall Valenzuela and Dwain McFarland finish the 2026 wide receiver tiers. Part 1 covered the WR1s (check it out here: https://youtu.be/fSvyvFbbTn0); this is everything after — from the high-upside WR2s all the way down to the late-round names where drafts are actually won. It starts with the tier that might matter most in your draft: Emeka Egbuka, Tetairoa McMillan, Ladd McConkey, Luther Burden III, Zay Flowers, Jaylen Waddle and Garrett Wilson. Then a group of proven veterans in new or changed situations — Mike Evans, Davante Adams, DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin and Chris Godwin — followed by the bet-on-the-leap names in Christian Watson, Jameson Williams and Rome Odunze. Jordyn Tyson and Carnell Tate get their own conversation, as do Brian Thomas Jr. and Marvin Harrison Jr., two guys whose draft prices and projections are further apart than you'd expect. From there it's the part of the board most people guess at. Parker Washington, Makai Lemon, Josh Downs, Jayden Reed, Quentin Johnston, Jordan Addison, Michael Wilson and Alec Pierce. Then Stefon Diggs, DK Metcalf, Courtland Sutton, Michael Pittman Jr. and Jakobi Meyers. Then Matthew Golden, Xavier Worthy, KC Concepcion, Jayden Higgins, Omar Cooper Jr., De'Zhaun Stribling, Denzel Boston and Travis Hunter. And finally the last-picks-of-the-draft group: Romeo Doubs, Wan'Dale Robinson, Deebo Samuel, Rashid Shaheed, Jalen Coker and Khalil Shakir. Dwain explains what separates each tier from the one above it, and Kendall pushes on the ones where the ranking doesn't match the price. If you're trying to figure out which late receiver is worth a real pick instead of a dart throw, this is the half of the board that decides it. Learn more about your ad choices. Nick Wize hears from Bucs fans who are increasingly optimistic about the team after all the positive reports coming out of training camp. Nick breaks down what's fueling the excitement and takes a closer look at the wide receiver group, highlighting Chris Godwin's strong camp while cautioning against the growing narrative that Ted Hurst is already the heir apparent to Mike Evans.
Nick Wize covers a packed show featuring the Rays' sweep of Seattle, Drew Rasmussen's incredible performance, the special chemistry inside the Rays clubhouse, and a conversation with Ryan Bass about Cam Booser's comeback story, Liam Hicks' impact, Rays injuries, and whether Tampa Bay can fix Freddy Peralta. Nick and Tim also tackle Mike Florio's Baker Mayfield comments, debate whether Baker would really take less to leave Tampa, test Tim's college football knowledge with the 10-team undefeated challenge, and hand out Heroes & Headaches. On the Bucs, Nick dives into training camp hype, Todd Bowles' Benjamin Morrison update, the battle in the trenches, excited fan calls, Chris Godwin's strong camp, and why it's too early to call Ted Hurst the next Mike Evans. The Rays are back in the W column, even though the offense continues to struggle, the pitching staff is wheeling and dealing and the Bucs reported to camp and we got to hear from Todd Bowles and Chris Godwin about this team!
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are officially back on the practice field, but training camp opened with more questions than answers. Vita Vea reported after requesting a trade but didn't practice. Baker Mayfield took every first-team rep despite entering a contract year without an extension. Tristan Wirfs missed practice with a hamstring injury, while Bucky Irving looked explosive and Zyon McCollum came away with an interception. We break down everything from Day 1 of Bucs training camp, what Todd Bowles had to say, why Chris Godwin's comments matter, and whether the Buccaneers can keep the contract drama from becoming a season-long distraction.SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS:Download Upside with my link or use my code DAN77949 to get 50¢ per gallon extra cash back on your first gas fill-up and 20% extra cash back on your first restaurant or grocery purchase! Rashee Rice is serving 30 days in jail and also had an operation on his knee. We talk about his Fantasy value (3:45) and why he may be a Round 3 pick now ... Our favorite mid-round picks! Let's start with Wan'Dale Robinson vs. Chris Godwin (15:35). You'll hear a case for each plus some funky Godwin analysis by Adam. Also, we love mid-round quarterbacks (24:55) but let's focus on the upside of Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow, plus more on the Chargers offense as Jamey makes a case for drafting Quentin Johnston (33:45) ... Dave has a couple of mid-round tight ends (38:10) he wants to draft while Jamey has two mid-round running backs (40:40) and two more RBs (44:00) who are going a little later. Do we like Jadarian Price better than Bhayshul Tuten? Jacory Croskey-Merritt better than Jordan Mason?
