On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Daily Podcast Mike talks about how the Miami Dolphins have made a plethora of roster moves this week and specifically how it affects the Dolphins Wide Receiver Room. We talk about the big news of Allen Hurns becoming the first Miami Dolphins player to opt-out of the 2020 season. What does that mean for Hurns? What opportunities does it present to some of the WR's the Dolphins currently have on their roster? And if Miami looks outside their building to add a veteran WR who is available? Mike goes over it all and breaks it down from all sides. We have a Preston Williams update as well and some good news surrounding Preston. Cordrea Tankersley was let go and we talk about his time in Miami and another early-round draft pick that didn't live up to the hype. Plus we have a Josh Rosen update and what is his future in Miami and his attitude these days being the 3rd man in a quarterback room where he has little upward mobility. Mike ends the show with a rant against sports media personality who used to work in South Florida.

In this episode of Phinsider Radio, Jake Mendel (@JMendel94) and I (@Houtz) are joined by Pro Football Network’s Matthew Cannata (@CannataPFN) to breakdown the Miami Dolphins wide receiver core. But before we get started on Miami’s WRs, we allow Matthew Cannata to get some much-needed promotion out of the way. You can follow him (@CannataPFN) and former co-host Aaron Sutton (@ASuttonPFN) at Pro Football Network. First up, we breakdown DeVante Parker’s impressive 2019 season. Is this the new norm? Can DVP build off his newfound success, or was it just a flash in the pan? We then turn our attention to The Unicorn Preston Williams. Who, as I love to say, was on pace to shatter Jerry Rice’s rookie season before suffering an ACL injury RETURNING PUNTS!!!!! (Never Again) How is Williams rehab going? And what can we expect from the second-year WR if fully healthy? Next, we give our unfiltered opinions on Jakeem Grant and Albert a Wilson. Is there room on the roster for both WRs after the 2020 season? Which WR do we like more, and what do the numbers say? Lastly, we dive into Allen Hurns and Isaiah Ford, two of Miami’s forgotten men on the depth chart. How are there skill sets similar, and could 24-year-old Ford be the future slot receiver on the Dolphins? We then wrap things up with Malcolm Perry, Ricardo Louis, and Mack Hollins. All of this and much more on this episode of Phinsider Radio. This podcast is juicy and filled with lots of information. SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Holden Kushner joins Greg to recap Week 14 and work the Week 15 waiver wire en route to glory in the 2019 fantasy football playoffs. Their booms of the week kick things off. Holden laments the loss of Calvin Ridley while celebrating the ascension of Ian Thomas, and Greg wonders if he can run back Joe Mixon against New England next week. Ryan Tannehill also went boom, but he did so from Greg's bench. Was the benching process sound, though? Greg argues that touchdown regression could still be on the table for Tannehill going forward. Busts of the week come next, featuring Jack Doyle and Brandin Cooks, but also with hat tips to the inactive Josh Jacobs and the laundry list of players who ended up injured on Sunday. The second half of the show is a breakdown of the Week 15 waiver wire. Should Raheem Mostert or DeAndre Washington be the top priority at running back? Are Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, and Patrick Laird even worth additions considering their poor offensive situations? Why aren't Zach Pascal and A.J. Brown already owned in more leagues? Did Week 14's injuries to Mike Evans and DeVante Parker create more opportunity at wide receiver in Tampa or Miami? Speaking of the Bucs, is O.J. Howard finally back on the fantasy radar? Can Case Keenum salvage Terry McLaurin's value? Who are the top streaming options at quarterback and defense? What other lingering questions and difficult decisions will keep Greg and Holden up at night as Week 15 approaches? After each week of NFL football games for the 2018- 2019 season, the Heads 'N Tales podcast will be posting an episode dedicated to injuries and health & safety topics surrounding the NFL. Specifically we will talk about possible prevention strategies, the rulebook, equipment and other injury buzz around the league. The strategist for these episodes will be one of my closest friends, Josh Boyd. Josh and I grew up playing baseball together. Josh was a division-1 center fielder for Monmouth University and experienced his fair share of injuries throughout his career. Although Josh never played organized football, the dude flat-out knows the game of football and undoubtably knows more about the ins-and-outs of the sport better than I do from both a fan and x's & o's perspective. Dr. Wazim Buksh "Waz" is the newest member to the Heads 'N Tales team and has been a long time friend of mine. Waz will serve as the medical expert in these recordings to give you the most realistic expectations for when your favorite players go down with an injury and what their road to recovery will look like. Dr. Buksh is board certified in both Internal and Sports Medicine. Waz completed his sports medicine fellowship with the New York Jets medical staff in 2014. Our intention for these episodes is to spark conversations around topics that are usually brushed under the rug or only minimally covered in the hopes of making football and all sports safer for the athletes who play them. You are currently looking at the show notes for Week 18 of the 2018 season!
