It is Lemma's turn to talk and he proposes that Christianity has been misdirected from pulpits and platforms for generations. The Bible is very clear that eternity for the faithful is NOT a life in Heaven. It's time to shed this misconception forever and ever.
In our second venture on the Ark of the Covenant, we discuss the possible locations of the Ark. The Bible has given us hints of where it could possibly be located, and there are those who continue to seek it out. Does an African tribe house it in Ethiopia? Did God pull a take-backsies? So many questions remain unanswered- what are your thoughts? Your hosts were delighted to interview Patricia A. Jackson about her book “Forging a Nightmare” even if they got distracted praising Anaba, the titular Nightmare, constantly. They talk about diversity in fantasy and religion, the complexity of Christian Mythology, and how kickass Anaba is. Patricia brings us to a Pet Peeve Corner about book bannings, and how important representation is for a young audience. You can find Patricia Jackson here:http://www.bybirthright.com/https://twitter.com/treistanYou can support the Panther Anti-Racist Union here:pantherantiracistunion.com/index.htmlhttps://linktr.ee/YourConscienceThanks to the following musicians for the use of their songs:- Amarià for the use of “Sérénade à Notre Dame de Paris”- Josh Woodward for the use of “Electric Sunrise”Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License
There is a pervasive belief, today among new ideology, that hell is not a place. God's Word says differently. Words carry powerful visualization.
Are we imposing Christianity onto MIddle-earth? That's what one listener thinks...“This show is Christian propaganda disguised as a discussion of Tolkien mythology. It's fine to be Christian, obviously Tolkien was a Christian, but Christianity doesn't exist in Arda. The mythology was not meant to be a metaphor for Christianity/the Bible - Tolkien had said that he dislikes such devices in story telling."In this video, I respond to that misguided accusation, and reveal what Tolkien actually thought and wrote about this topic.MORE VIDEOS ON THIS TOPIC:- Tolkien on Christ's Resurrection and the Way Things Really Do Work » Letter 89» https://youtu.be/7Sg4ZHX1zeY- The God and Gods of Middle-earth » https://youtu.be/bzFPLXBwVbI- Tolkien vs The Shadow » https://youtu.be/uNqNcxc12_A- Númenor's Purpose » https://youtu.be/eF309GhYZCo- Lord of the Rings & Religion Mailbag » https://youtu.be/ENYWhQ62TJwSupport / Follow My Work:- tolkienroad.com- patreon.com/tolkienroad- twitter.com/tolkienroad

It's not an alternate reality, it's our society as the Christian has made it. The very same text that is used to judge your “non-Christian” fellow man as sinful or immoral? Is living proof that you proudly disobeyed God. Find a new name.. just a suggestion.

In this episode we discuss christian mythology. Thanks for listening!
Succubi and Incubi are tame in D&D in comparison to the mythology surrounding them. Warning - while not a more vulgar episode than others, the mythology portion has a theme of sexual assault for those who wish to avoid it. Visioning for a new world, thinking on larger, mythological scale.
We tried something really different in this Lorecast... While we still cover the lore contained within the game, we also take a slight dive into some of the real-world mythology behind the naming conventions. In this case, we look at the Fomorian, and the Balor Fomorian, which come from Irish pre-Christian Mythology. It's really interesting stuff. Let us know your thoughts via the usual channels.
One of the goals we have at Chapterhouse is to educate our viewers on how to break down biblical information and separate religion and tradition from revelation. Paul’s Thorn is just one of the fables that put God in a bad light and only helps to diminish and minimize our faith. I may be doing Christian Mythology as a series or off and on as we travel.

Chrystine Trooien is an eco-conscious, secular, vegan mother based out of Hawaii. About a year ago, she launched a Kickstarter campaign for a book called Christian Mythology for Kids. It’s essentially a book that explains the stories of the Bible as just that: Stories. They don’t disparage religion, and they don’t pretend any of it is real, either. They read just like Greek mythology -- with beautiful illustrations by artist Christopher Zakrzewski to boot. It’s a wonderful way to introduce your children to these characters without indoctrinating them in the faith. We spoke with Chrystine about why it's important to teach kids these stories objectively, how she handled stories with no redeeming message, and whether she'll continue the series with other religions.
Professor Hollywood, Master of Mythology, shines this week (but doesn't he always?). Special guest, Kevin Alan, picks on a kid with disabilities (it's the DC way!). Max asks random questions and chooses Kevin Sorbo. All the while Benji is screaming for more mechanical owl! Is the term Christian Mythology offensive? Who's ever heard of a [...]
