How can we solve the identity crisis we are experiencing as a nation? How can we know that we are right with God and grow in our relationship with Him?

When the angel Gabriel appears to Mary, he tells her that she was blessed and highly favored. The statement troubled her, and he continued to tell her not to be afraid. We can sometimes be fearful of God's favor also, thinking we don't deserve it – and ultimately, we don't. But, because of Jesus' perfect obedience and our relationship with Him, we inherit all that He deserves. The Apostle Paul would later echo Gabriel's words to the church at Ephesus, telling them that they too were blessed and highly favored in Christ.

Don’t jam the divine nature of Jesus into his human nature. or vice versa. To be perfectly human, Jesus had to be truly human.  

1 Samuel 2:26 KJV And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.   Luke 2:52 KJV And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.   You must grow in favour with both God and humans.   Many people are only focused to have favour with humans and forget it is God before humans.   WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HAVE FAVOUR WITH GOD? Here are some possible meanings of "favor with God":  Being in God's good graces. If you are looking for ways to obtain favor with God, here are some things you can do: If you do these things, you will be on your way to obtaining favor with God.

Growing in favor with God is not knowing about God or doing things for God. Growing in favor with God means growing in a relationship with God.
