Welcome to Divine Savior Church in Doral, FLMessage: Live in JoySeries: Shine Like StarsService Host: Pastor Caleb SchmiegeLife isn't always easy here. And it isn't hard for friction to happen between people. If it keeps happening, it can start causing pain, and then start creating bitterness. And when bitterness has built up, a single spark can cause an explosion. There is a joy we are given as a gift through Jesus. This means we can rejoice together no matter how hard things get. This joy can help us live together with other imperfect people like us. And this is so important… because those who will spend an eternity in joyful unity might as well start living in that joy now. Life is just better that way. So let's focus on the good gifts God has given us, and let that overflow with joy into not only our lives, but the lives of those around us.Philippians 4:1-9
Pastor Caleb Slavik delivers a message entitled "The Overflow of Obedience"

Matthew 7:15-20 tells us that the world should know us by our good fruits that we produce. This week Pastor Caleb looks at one attribute of the fruit of the spirit– Love.
In Genesis 3, Adam and Eve fall into the trap of imitation—grasping for God's authority, righteousness, and relationship—rather than walking in authentic trust. This same pattern is echoed in 1 John 2 and Matthew 4, where Jesus resists the very temptations they succumbed to. Through His perfect obedience and sacrificial covering, Jesus frees us from the need to perform or hide, inviting us into a life of authenticity. In a season where spiritual drift is common, we're called to shed the baggage of imitation and walk openly and honestly with God. Questions? In this message, Pastor Caleb discusses the importance of not being religious in the outward appearance or action but having a heart for God. Having a heart for God is having a true relationship through Jesus Christ. A person's victories in the spiritual depend on their relationship with God. May all Christians have a heart for God. In this message, Pastor Caleb discusses the importance of using the helmet of salvation to overcome the mental attacks of the spiritual enemies. In this message, Pastor Caleb discusses the importance of using faith's formula to obtain victory in one's life. Using faith pleases God, but using faith's formula to worship and raise one's hands during the hard times of being pressed or in battle brings victory. Controlling emotions, hearing God's commands, and obeying God's Word while acting in faith helps Christians be overcomers. Pastor Caleb continues our journey through the Gospel of John with a message from John 14 titled When You Don't Know the Way. As fear grips the disciples and questions swirl, Jesus speaks peace into the room with seven words that still calm hearts today: Let not your heart be troubled. But He doesn't just soothe their emotions. He gives them Himself. I am the way, the truth, and the life. This moment isn't just comforting. It's clarifying. Jesus is not one of many options. He is the only way to the Father. He is the truth we can build on and the life our souls were made for. When you feel lost, overwhelmed, or uncertain, John 14 reminds us where to look. Not for a plan. For a Person.

Send us a text Christian Nationalism is a popular term these days, but it's often used as a catch-all for anyone who happens to be conservative both politically and theologically. We believe the language we use matters, and we need to be less casual about applying blanket labels like this to followers of Jesus who voted a certain way or don't share our political convictions. So, we had a conversation about it. We had the joy of sitting down with Caleb Campbell, pastor and author of the recent book “Disarming Leviathan: Loving Your Christian Nationalist Neighbor.” In this episode, we delve into what Christian nationalism is, what's behind it, and how we can best love those who are caught in its grip.
