Former Major League and Mississippi State pitcher Paul Maholm joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about his close decision to skip going to Mississippi State and his stellar high school performance live in the BankPlus Studio. Paul talks about his talent in high school and how his era was less than 1 as a graduating senior. Out of high school, Paul was drafted late by the Minnesota Twins and this gave the young pitcher a massive choice between college and instant money. Paul talks about his last minute decision of telling MSU that he was going to sign the contract to the MLB and how he woke up encouraged to do the opposite.
