Turning 30 has me reflecting on a lot… and honestly, feeling more motivated than ever to live fully where God has me. Lately I've been realizing how easy it is to get stuck in the mindset of “life is hard,” “things feel different,” or “this season isn't what I expected.”  But God has been reminding me that we get to be part of His plans, not just our own. I've been deeply convicted to live boldly for Him — to be so rooted in God that I'm willing to follow Him no matter the risk, sacrifice, or outcome. As I step into this new decade, my prayer is simple: To live faithfully in every role He's given me and ultimately, to live fully for the plans God has for my life — not my own. The defense in the Kouri Richins trial is systematically dismantling the prosecution's case. Today we're going through every crack they're hammering—and there are a lot of them.Carmen Lauber admitted she tested positive for meth during the entire time frame she claims she was buying fentanyl for Kouri. The defense asked if she was high the whole time. She said yes. She told police her memory was "fried." She asked them to write her statement and she'd sign it. Her story changed—three drug buys became four. She didn't mention fentanyl until after cops told her that's what killed Eric.Her supplier Robert Crozier has filed a sworn affidavit saying he never gave her fentanyl—only oxycontin. If the source of the alleged murder weapon says there was no murder weapon, what's left of the prosecution's theory?Video played in court showed detectives telling Carmen the only way to avoid prison is to give them "the details that ensure Kouri gets convicted of murder." They told her to "finish painting the picture." That's not investigating—that's scripting.Nineteen items tested for fentanyl. All negative. The pill bottle on Eric's nightstand—never tested. The Moscow mule glasses—washed before collection. No fentanyl found anywhere. No delivery method established.The toxicologist found acetylfentanyl in Eric's system—a marker exclusively found in street drugs. The defense argues this supports secret use, not poisoning. The boyfriend's phones were returned to him multiple times during the investigation. Audio from witness interviews is missing. John 16:7–15. Jesus promised that it was to our advantage that He would go so that the Holy Spirit could come and dwell within us. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey reminds us that the Helper is not distant but deeply present. The same Spirit who revealed Christ to the world now reveals Christ in us. Convicting, guiding, and glorifying the Son through our lives. He doesn't simply inform us of truth; He forms us into it. When we feel weak, uncertain, or wordless, the Spirit intercedes, translating our groans into the language of heaven. The Spirit is not optional; He is essential. He is the presence of Jesus with us, and the power of Jesus in us.
