Resilience and Stress Management: While critical to 97% of executives, only 47% believe their organization is currently resilient. Additionally, only 18% of leaders surveyed in 2025 scored high in stress tolerance. Decision-Making Under Pressure: While 67% of leaders make critical decisions under significant time pressure, only 23% have systematic frameworks to do so effectively. Specifically97% of executives believe business resilience is important, and nearly 90% of executives in a 2022 survey identified improving their own well-being (a driver of resilience and focus) as a top priority. The U.S. is a global leader in technology and innovation. That didn't happen by chance. It happened because our economic institutions have historically emphasized decentralized decision-making, strong property rights, capital formation, and competition on the merits. In recent years, antitrust enforcement has drifted away from economics and toward structural and precautionary theories that treat scale, integration, and market success as presumptive harms. Some of this shift mirrors Europe's regulatory approach, and troublingly, the impulse to move in this direction is becoming bipartisan. The danger is that we abandon evidence-based competition policy, raise error costs, chill investment, and weaken long-run growth—at the very moment American firms are competing most intensely with China. In This Week's Economy, I explain how we got here, what's at stake for America's leading tech firms, and what policymakers should do to ensure we defend competition without undermining the innovation that keeps America ahead. Your face might already live in a searchable database—and BC's courts just drew a sharp line around what companies can do with it. We break down a major ruling that upholds the privacy commissioner's order against Clearview AI, unpack why “publicly available” doesn't mean “free to scrape,” and explain how a province can regulate a US firm with no brick-and-mortar presence. This is a story about jurisdiction in the age of the internet, biometric data rights, and the limits of consent on social media platforms Canadians use every day. From there, we pivot to a wildfire zone, where a tiny drone met a big legal problem. When a helicopter pilot fighting the Kelowna blaze was irritated and distracted by a nearby drone, the court found that distraction alone interfered with fire control under the Wildfire Act. We walk through the difference between strict and absolute liability, why due diligence matters, and how “no harm done” isn't a shield when public safety is at stake. We close with a sign of the times: 3D printed suppressors that triggered prohibited device charges. Beyond the plastic parts and lab delays, the headline is new criminal exposure for simply accessing or possessing digital files intended to produce firearms or key components. We talk through how Canadian firearms law treats suppressors, why courts imposed a conditional sentence rather than jail in this case, and what makers and hobbyists need to know before downloading a file that could cross a legal line.If privacy, drones, or maker tech lives anywhere near your world, this episode offers clear, practical takeaways: don't assume public equals fair use, steer drones far from emergency operations, and think twice before clicking on gun-printing files. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs a reality check on tech and law, and leave a review to tell us where you think the line should be drawn next.Follow this link for a transcript of the show and links to the cases discussed.

Attorney General William Tong discussed the federal government's request for access to Connecticut's voter rolls, expressing concerns about election interference and data security. Tong emphasized the state's efforts to limit information sharing to protect citizens from identity theft. He also highlighted ongoing legal battles, including a recent court victory against a Trump-issued stop work order for the Revolution Wind project, which is 80% complete. Tong endorsed John Larson for re-election, citing Larson's effectiveness in Congress and his understanding of working-class struggles. Tong clarified that Connecticut is not a sanctuary state and criticized the inflammatory use of the term "sanctuary."

US INTERVENTION IN IRAN: FROM OPERATION AJAX TO THE SHAH'S FALL Colleague Brandon Weichert. This segment introduces Brandon Weichert's book, The Shadow War, and examines the history of USinterference in Iran. It details Ambassador William Sullivan's 1978 "Thinking the Unthinkable" memo, which suggested the Carter administration prepare for the Shah's removal as he weakened. The discussion highlights how the USconsidered Ayatollah Khomeini a potential replacement to stabilize Iran, a massive miscalculation. It also revisits the 1953 Operation Ajax, clarifying that pro-Western Iranian military forces, aided by the British and CIA, ousted Prime Minister Mosaddegh after he attempted to consolidate power and nationalize oil. THE HOSTAGE RELEASE TIMING AND A LEGACY OF ELECTORAL INTERFERENCE Colleague Craig Unger. The final segment addresses the suspicious timing of the hostage release on January 20, 1981. Unger notes that while Carter stayed up all night negotiating, the hostages were not released until minutes after Ronald Reagan took the oath of office. This precise timing suggests a pre-arranged deal, as Reagan had no presidential authority to negotiate prior to that moment. Unger points out that recent biographers and international sources have increasingly accepted the October Surprise as fact. He concludes by contextualizing this event within a broader history of Republican interference in foreign policy to win elections, drawing parallels to Nixon's sabotage of Vietnam peace talks in 1968 and allegations regarding the Trump campaign and Russia. The files suggest that political treason has been used repeatedly to "steal the White House." NUMBER 8
The new year is upon us. 2026 is finally here. But many people, myself included, are worried about what the coming year will bring. The midterm elections will be a primary focus on social media throughout the majority of the year. And it doesn't matter your politics, it's going to be very contentious. If you've had a hard time being on social media over the last couple of years, I fear 2026 will test your patience. Both sides have so much to gain and so much to lose. These gifted children are then targeted with a range of pharmaceutical products designed to dumb them down, or recruited into classified programs where they are exploited as supersoldiers, remote viewers, or secret space program personnel. She says that these gifted children are part of four waves of Starseeds who are incarnating on Earth to uplift humanity and help us prepare for a future involving the use of advanced technologies and open contact with extraterrestrial life. All we want for Christmas is a new Supreme Court. Here to tell us how we get there is legal scholar Madiba Dennie, author of The Originalism Trap: How Extremists Stole the Constitution and How We the People Can Take It Back. What's "originalism"? It's white supremacy's answer to the Civil Rights Movement, every bit as sneaky and immoral as Republican operative Lee Atwater's "Southern Strategy," which mobilized racist voters through racist dog whistles instead of open slurs. Originalism sounds fancy by design, but it's pure fascist gaslighting, now wielded by the trash MAGA majority on the Supreme Court. Gaslit Nation's holiday gift to our listeners this year is to remind you of an inconvenient fact the media ignores: Donald Trump came to power in 2016 with the Kremlin's very illegal help, as documented in both the Mueller Report and the bipartisan U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report on Russian Active Measures Campaigns and Interference in the 2016 U.S. Election. That makes him an illegitimate president, which means his extreme Supreme Court picks should be impeached. More on that in part two of our discussion, coming Thursday. For radio astronomers, there’s some good news and some bad news. On the good side, a pilot project with SpaceX has devised a way to reduce the radio interference produced by satellites. On the bad side, the satellites can produce accidental interference. Radio telescopes tell us things about the universe that we can’t get any other way. But the telescopes are extremely sensitive. Transmissions from an orbiting satellite are like bright headlights – they overpower the subtle signals of astronomical objects. There are more than 15,000 satellites in orbit today – a five-fold increase in just six years. And the total could balloon to a hundred thousand by the next decade. Astronomers worked with SpaceX to reduce interference from its Starlink satellites. The groups combined the observing schedule of a telescope with the Starlink control system. Satellites passing over the telescope were instructed to turn away – aiming the headlights in a different direction. And there are plans to extend the scheme to other telescopes. On the other hand, a recent study found that tiny radio signals emitted by a satellite’s electronics can also be a problem. Scientists looked at 76 million radio images made by a telescope in Australia. They found that Starlink satellites interfered with up to 30 percent of the pictures. So future satellites may need extra shielding to keep them from blinding astronomy’s radio eyes. Script by Damond Benningfield

The anti-Israel fervor in Ireland, which moved this week to erase Jewish history in Dublin, was blocked after the Dublin City Council delayed a decision to remove the name of former Israeli President and rename it Palestine Park. Dublin City Council Cieran Perry defended the attempt change the name of a park in the city named after Israel’s sixth President Chaim Herzog and called the pressure by Irish and Israeli leaders to block the move “disgraceful interference.” (photo: Clodagh Kilcoyne/Reuters) See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In today's episode, I break down how I manage my energy, prioritize my nonnegotiables, and keep my life aligned with my divine direction. I share the role sleep, recovery, and intentional routines play in keeping me active instead of merely busy, and why interference drains more potential than any lack of talent. I walk through the lessons I learned from losing everything, the moments when loved ones gave well-meaning but limiting advice, and how defining “for the sake of what” reshaped my purpose. I also explain how timing, risk tolerance, and capabilities determine growth, whether you're building a small business or scaling toward bigger goals.
0:00 Introduction: Leg strength for longevity0:37 Leg problems that affect longevity 10:41 Type 2 diabetes 13:50 The Soleus push-up 16:40 Sitting-rising test and longevity 19:43 More tips for strong legs Did you know that your legs can give early warning signs about underlying health conditions? The older you are, the more relevant this becomes! The following conditions that affect the legs can provide insight into your longevity and overall health. 1. Peripheral neuropathyThese symptoms of numbness, pain, tingling, or burning in the bottom of the feet or fingertips are often associated with diabetes. High levels of sugar in the bloodstream destroy the vascular and nervous systems.2. Ankle and foot edema Puffy legs and ankles, or pitting edema, often signify a serious problem with circulation involving the kidney, liver, or heart.3. Restless legs syndromeThis often occurs at night and is related to the overconsumption of sugar. Interference with your sleep can decrease longevity. Dietary changes, vitamin B1, and magnesium may help improve this condition. 4. Deep vein thrombosis Clots in the legs can break off and travel to the lungs. Around 90% to 95% percent of heart attacks are caused by clots. 5. Peripheral artery disease This type of atherosclerosis goes beyond the arteries of the heart and is caused by damage to the endothelial layer of the arteries. 6. Chronic venous insufficiency This is associated with a sedentary lifestyle and puts increased pressure on the heart. 7. Sarcopenia Age-related muscle loss is one of the top predictors of mortality. Protein and exercise are vital, especially as you age. Type 2 diabetes and blood sugar issues cause problems with the inside of the arteries, which often show up in your legs first. A low-carb diet and intermittent fasting can help reverse these issues, but this is often ignored by doctors. Benfotiamine and alpha-lipoic acid can also help with associated peripheral neuropathy. The soleus push-up can significantly improve your blood sugar and circulation, and the sitting-standing test is an excellent indicator of hip and core strength.Potassium, a low-carb diet, and the Soleus Push-up can all help improve edema and reduce excess water weight. Increasing nitric oxide supports the inner walls of the arteries, and consistent exercise and a sufficient amount of sleep can help strengthen the legs and increase longevity. //The Wire//2300Z November 11, 2025////ROUTINE////BLUF: VBIED ATTACK STRIKES ISLAMABAD, 12X FATALITIES REPORTED. RIOTS BREAK OUT AT UC BERKELEY AT STUDENT EVENT. WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCES ECONOMIC INITIATIVES. SOLAR FLARES PROMPT SPACE WEATHER WATCHES FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Global: Several Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) from the sun were reported yesterday, which are expected to result in the observance of aurora at lower latitudes than normal tonight and possibly the next few days. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a G4 (Severe) Geomagnetic Storm Watch this morning, which is valid for this evening into tomorrow.Analyst Comment: This is nothing to freak out over, but still something to keep in mind just in case power outages strike some areas. Interference with radio communications should also be expected as well, particularly shortwave frequencies. When solar weather is more active (as it is right now), weird things tend to happen, which are nearly impossible to predict. In practical terms, this usually means that people living at lower latitudes can see the Northern Lights, but what people can't usually see is the interference, fluctuations, and anomalies that this kind of thing causes with anything that relies on electricity to function. These CMEs are a bit bigger than normal, and at least one is directed at Earth (meaning that it's more likely to be impactful that usual, as the solar energy will hit our atmosphere more directly). So communications and electrical infrastructure may be damaged later tonight. Thursday night should be the worst, but the space weather forecast is still rather variable at the moment.Pakistan: Following yesterday's explosion in India, a Vehicle-Borne IED was detonated outside a court in Islamabad. 9-12x people were killed and dozens wounded during the attack. Tehrik-e-Taliban - Pakistan (otherwise known as TTP, or the main Taliban faction operating within Pakistan) claimed responsibility for the attack.Analyst Comment: Immediately following this explosion (which is the worst Islamabad has experienced in many years), locals reported Pakistan starting to move military resources toward the border with India. Right now it's hard to say what's going on, but two deadly explosions detonating in the heart of two nations that are constantly at each other's throats is probably going to result in tensions escalating a bit once again.-HomeFront-California: A general state of unrest broke out at UC Berkeley last night following a series of Turning Point USA events at the university. ANTIFA militants clashed with police, prevented other students from attending the TPUSA event, and otherwise caused much disturbance.Analyst Comment: Going into the heart of the beast of Berkeley, with a Charlie Kirk event no less, was always going to result in this level of kinetic activity, so it is a miracle nobody was killed. Berkeley may be infamous for many things, but it's also a legendary ANTIFA stronghold where militants dominate the terrain in significant numbers. Flyers advertising this riot were spread weeks ago, which signifies the level of planning present for something that seems as simple as a counter-protest/riot.Washington D.C. - Several developments on the economic front have been announced over the past few days. The White House has announced efforts to normalize 50 year mortgages, while Fannie Mae has announced plans to remove their minimum credit score required to obtain a home loan, instead using their own risk assessment criteria to evaluate each loan independently of a minimum credit score. In a media interview with Fox, President Trump also reiterated plans to bring 600,000 Chinese students into the United States, confirming again the plans to double the number of Chinese students allowed into the US.-----END TEARLINE-----
