Doesn't this NFL Draft seem foolproof for the New Orleans Saints? Whether they remain at No. 14 in the first round or trade down a few spots, there are plenty of offensive tackles to target who would fit in and immediately be ready to play. Who are those tackles? Jim Derry takes a look and shares his thoughts on Wednesday's Dattitude Podcast (Ep. 224), and he also gives a positive update on the Pelicans, who moved back into sixth place in the NBA's Western Conference. Can they stay there? Uncle Big Nick is back to give us a Masters preview, and Spencer the Guru is here with the weekly Fantasy Roundup. Jim wraps up the show with a special 'Extra Point,' commemorating 50 years since Hammerin' Hank Aaron's 715th home run. July 14, 1916 - Ernie Koob of the St. Louis Browns went the distance in a 17-inning 0-0 tie with the Boston Red Sox. Carl Mays went the first fifteen innings for the Red Sox and Dutch Leonard finished.1956 - Mel Parnell of the Boston Red Sox pitched a no-hitter against the Chicago White Sox for a 4-0 victory at Fenway Park. Houston beat the Giants 8-6. Matthews would become only the 7th member of the 500 Club.Hammerin' Hank Aaron collected his 500th home run off Mike McCormick on July 14th 1968 as the Atlanta Braves beat the San Francisco Giants 4-2. As Curt Simmons would say "Trying to throw a fastball past Hank Aaron is like trying to sneak a sunrise past a rooster".On July 14th 1970 - Pete Rose of the Cincinnati Reds scored on Jim Hickman's 12th-inning single after bowling over Cleveland's Ray Fosse at home plate to give the National League a 5-4 victory over the American League at Riverfront Stadium. The collision is often blamed for Fosse's shortened career, but the following year Fosse was again an All Star Catcher and also won a Gold Glove.

Saving countless kids from ennui during car rides and doctor's visits, the Nintendo Game Boy was a staple of handheld gaming, and we're here to talk about it. We discuss its hardware & impact on the industry, as well as games such as Hammerin' Harry, Battle Unit Zeoth, and Chikyuu Kaihou Gun ZAS, all before Alex goes on a tirade upon seeing that one of his favorite games has been defiled.
Hank Greenberg, who entered the Hall of Fame as one of the greatest hitters in the game's history, was the first Jewish star in team sports. He interrupted his baseball career to serve longer in World War II than any other major league player, and led the Tigers to World Series championships before and after the war. So why did the Tigers sell him to the Pirates? Good question. We hear from an eclectic cast about his career, including poet John Sinclair, who reads verses from the late Edgar Guest; sportscaster Eli Zaret, historian Bill Dow, and -- we're not making this up -- Groucho Marx and Bing Crosby.
