This episode features a conversation with Kiran Trace, a renowned teacher, speaker, and author who has helped thousands of people worldwide on their path to awakening. Kiran has developed a powerful set of tools to support people in freeing themselves from suffering and integrating their spiritual awakening into daily life. Her own journey began with a radical, spontaneous awakening—with no prior spiritual training or context. In a transformative moment, she died and instantly became the vastness of pure presence and being, and then had to find her way back into form and normality. Through this experience, she gained insights that she shares in her book Tools for Sanity. In this conversation, Kiran shares her story of self-discovery and healing, providing insights into releasing trauma and reconnecting with the innate vibrancy of awareness. Topics include the challenges of integrating deep spiritual experiences, the journey from suffering to freedom, and the creation of tools that empower others to transform what Eckhart Tolle might call their "pain bodies." With her fresh and candid perspective, Kiran offers a unique view of how awakening can unfold and deepen in unexpected ways.Take Kiran's free course here. Kiran Trace: Shattering the Soulmate Myth

Her viewpoint is the complete opposite of all of society's narrative on romance: Kiran Trace, internationally renowned spiritual teacher and human development expert, shares how the common conception of soulmates is not something great, but the absence of freedom. Choosing another instead of God doesn't allow for your being to evolve and pursue its true purpose – which would be to be free and autonomous. Instead, it keeps us imprisoned and addicted. Kiran and I both have seen directly, how destructive soulmates on the very extreme end of the spectrum (so called twinflames) are. Why soulmates are like cocaine and horrible – listen to this week's episode with my mentor and very close friend.

When one thinks of making a career change there can be this energy of needing to “get ready” for change, of psyching yourself up, or thinking you need to push and force yourself to get out there and make something happen…and an urgency to make something happen NOW! It's totally exhausting and self-inflicting of a lot of pain. In this episode, I suggest there's another way. I talk about letting life unfold, letting the next steps come to you, no pushing or forcing to make something happen or making moves that are hard on your nervous system. And to do that we have to learn to wait and listen to when the energy for action is up under us. Maybe we can let life unfold, maybe we don't have to try so hard, or at all…if we're willing to let go of control. It helps if we land in a realization that it's safe to not know what's next, it's safe to be in this liminal space and fall into not knowing ‘what you're doing.' And if we stop striving for external (and internal!) circumstances to be ‘just so' before you are enough. You get to be exactly where you are.I highly recommend checking out this 7-day email course:Kiran Trace's 7 Days To Free Your Mind - Get this super powerful course here Resonate with what I'm talking about? Learn more about Career Change Clarity Coaching at syoungwang.comFollow me on insta: @sarayoungwangE-mail me: sara@syoungwang.comMy nondual spiritual teachers: Kirantrace.comMeghanroekle.com

Have you noticed how much of your day is directed by thoughts referencing external directives on what you should be doing? Both with your life in general and moment to moment throughout the day? There's a constant background anxiety and vigilance. What would it be like to put that mental tracker aside and move from something more true and alive? In this episode I unpack this mental tracker, explore the process of letting it go, and discuss how your true self and aligned life is discovered only when we move from the energy that's coming through us, not the mental tracker. Want to deep dive into discovering awareness? In this episode I tackle a topic that maybe isn't talked about so much…when a new job just isn't working out. Maybe it's very different from what you thought it would be like. Or perhaps you're not performing well (or just got let go). Either way, it's stressful and can feel isolating, confusing and a whole roller coaster of other emotions including shame, anger, frustration, sadness etc. In listening my hope is that you feel less alone and take a step toward learning how to meet everything internally that this situation is bringing up.  I highly recommend checking out this very powerful 7-day email course:Kiran Trace's 7 Days To Free Your Mind Resonate with what I'm talking about? Learn more about Career Change Clarity Coaching at syoungwang.comFollow me on insta: @sarayoungwangE-mail me: sara@syoungwang.comMy nondual spiritual teachers: Kirantrace.comMegroekle.com

Kiran Trace has an amazing story of spontaneous awakening which goes beyond a spiritual awakening, into Original Nature. She wasn't even on a spiritual path, and one day as she was putting on her shoes reality dissolved all around her and she found herself in a space beyond... everything! She shares the wonder and perils of this experience, and we get into some really beautiful discussion about higher truths and wisdom. In this episode we discuss: - Variations of “awakenings” - personal, spiritual, original nature. Kiran shares her exceptional experience of spontaneously awakening into Original Nature, which she writes about in Tools for Sanity. - We are built for absolute fulfillment, but by and large we are not utilizing our organic capacity for it. - Why is conditioning to be kind to each other the worst advice around? - The key of finding what is most “delicious,” where there is the most life within you, and how to use this to guid your life. Kiran describes how she sees the physical as light, code, and form. - What defines whether you are lovable? - What does it mean to be free, and what does it mean in the context of interdependency? Holy Embodied: ein RefLab-Podcast

In this guided meditation, awareness is filling out our bodies to touch the whole inside – let yourself be made of awareness. And discover how incredible comfort is possible for your being, when you step out of your thought stream. Let’s practice together this weekend, shall we? The world is in turmoil, many of us face individual heartbreak and old wounds flare up again. We need ways to support ourselves and each other. Practicing is one way. But: Change isn’t happening overnight, there is no magic wand to ease the suffering of the world or your individual pain. But practicing again and again builds new pathways; new pathways toward more ease and space in your life. Take some time this weekend to care for yourself and in doing so, for the whole world. (Note: I am simply sharing my own way of practicing here which I learned from and with Kiran Trace. I’m also influenced by my dear friend Meg Roekle who hosts monthly meditations with Embodied Together. I have not invented anything of what I offer, it is an assemblage of everything I’ve learned and my own approach to it.)

This meditation is guiding you towards softening the body and allowing your system to ground. Which is very helpful in everyday life but especially when we are facing challenging situations. It might help to gain a tad bit more spaciousness, to stay connected to truth. Even this tad can make a big difference as in not getting hooked by the collective fear and your own primal survival system – which makes us strange stuff in order to keep ourselves supposedly safe. Like buying shitloads of toilet paper, excuse my language. (Note: This is a technique, a way of practicing I’ve learned from and with Kiran Trace. I have not invented anything of what I offer, it is an assemblage of things I learned from my teachers – but there’s certainly my flavor in it ;))

The last couple of weeks we talked a lot about living from truth, and about how the body is the most useful way to navigate truth. We got into that in our conversation with Kiran Trace last week, and in our talk about what we were learning as we spent some time with Adyashanti. We, kind of, could talk about the body and about navigating what is true for you from the body, forever... so we had a lot more to say on that! What came up for us is the way we separate ourselves into “me” and “my body”- and how that separation- that perception that we are NOT our bodies- is where we objectify ourselves and lose access to the wisdom of the body. We get into how we can have unconditional love for ourselves, how to make room for the body to just always be in a process instead of “getting it right, finally”, and how to acknowledge the ways we see and treat the body as “other”.
