Max Fawcett, lead columnist at the National Observer is back and so is a self-styled journalist from the separatist Maverick Party, Andy Lee. Andy was on a couple of weeks ago, and she stole the show. She wanted to come back, Max wanted to come back when Andy came back, so, here we are! I think Andy wants to talk about making the top ten Russian disinformation list (she thinks it's bullshit) and Max wants to talk to Andy about her associating with the convoy as well as some of her "right-leaning" views. Dean always appreciates a good show and Lochlin loves conflict, so we're just here for the fun of it all. Finland's EXTREMELY attractive PM is getting called out for partying too hard. The video explains the rest. Are politicians allowed to party? Get rowdy? Do body shots? The Fake trucker church in Ottawa is bracing for a feud after being evicted for not paying rent (cults don't plan very well). We dig into why and what's next for Canada's dumbest people.
Western Politics has become someone of a hot topic over the last 2 years. With the rise of the Maverick Party in the last federal election. We wanted to do a dive into the politics of Manitoba from a western perspective. On today's show, we talk with Dan Olson who has been active in the Maverick Party. We talk about the new leadership, the creation of the riding associations for the Maverick Party, and the pulse of the electorate in Manitoba. ************************************************** Follow Dan: Twitter: https://twitter.com/maverickmbdan *************************************************** Follow the Cross Border Interview Podcast: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/crossborderpodcast/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/CrossBorderPod Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/CrossBorderInterviews Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCI2i25ZVKTO84oUsLyO4jig Website: https://www.crossborderinterviews.ca/ Back the Show: https://www.patreon.com/CrossBoderInterviewPodcast The Cross Border Interview Podcast was Produced and Edited by Miranda, Brown & Associates Inc © 2022

Colin Krieger is a 4th generation Albertan. Married for 27 years he has four adult children and now he and his wife foster children on their acreage. Family is one of the main reasons Colin entered politics. Born on the family farm he also has a strong sense of community. He has been a truck driver, a successful oilfield contractor and the owner of an oilfield paramedic service. He has worked for and with companies such as Murphy Oil, CNRL, Suncor and Harvest Operations. Colin has long realized that the West will never get a fair deal in Canada as long as most elections are settled before a single vote is counted west of Ontario. All political parties are forced to trade western interests to help secure eastern votes in order to form the government. Only the Maverick party is solely focused on western challenges. Colin sees Maverick as the only truly grassroots, membership-led, a political party that gives all its MPs a free vote on all issues. It is the only party where MPs are fully answerable to their voters. It is the only party with a real Recall option. These are some of the reasons Colin ran as a Maverick Candidate in the Peace River-Westlock Riding connecting with thousands of voters in his community and winning over 2500 votes in the last election. *************************************************** Follow Colin Krieger: Website: https://www.colinkrieger.ca/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/KriegerColin Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/colinkriegermaverick *************************************************** Follow the Cross Border Interview Podcast: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/crossborderpodcast/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/CrossBorderPod Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/CrossBorderInterviews Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCI2i25ZVKTO84oUsLyO4jig Website: https://www.crossborderinterviews.ca/ Back the Show: https://www.patreon.com/CrossBoderInterviewPodcast The Cross Border Interview Podcast was Produced and Edited by Miranda, Brown & Associates Inc © 2022
Tariq Elnaga is a world traveller, and in 2010, his adventures brought him to Alberta for the Calgary Stampede. This was a life-changer for Tariq. He returned to his home and birthplace in the United Arab Emirates, sold his house, resigned from his job, and in 2012, moved to Alberta to embrace the Western way of life. Not one to sit on the sidelines, Tariq reached out to the Maverick Party in hopes of running as a candidate in his home riding of Banff-Airdrie. Tariq found a home with his fellow “Maverick's” who believe in a common-sense approach to government, while advocating for the industries so important to the West. Today he is running to lead the Maverick Party, Canada's only Western Party. *************************************************** Follow Tariq: Twitter: https://twitter.com/TariqElnaga Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bottomhandranch/?hl=en Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tariqelnaga Website: https://www.tariqelnaga.ca/ *************************************************** Follow the Cross Border Interview Podcast: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/crossborderpodcast/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/CrossBorderPod Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/CrossBorderInterviews Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCI2i25ZVKTO84oUsLyO4jig Website: https://www.crossborderinterviews.ca/ Back the Show: https://www.patreon.com/CrossBoderInterviewPodcast The Cross Border Interview Podcast was Produced and Edited by Miranda, Brown & Associates Inc © 2022

On the first full day of Joe Biden's Presidency, we discuss Alberta Premier Jason Kenney's suggestion Canada should impose trade sanctions on the USA, based on the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline. International trade lawyer Mark Warner gives us a sense of what the economic relationship between Canada and the US will look like moving forward, including the pipeline file. Jay Hill, leader of the Maverick Party, explains where the federal party stands on western sovereignty, the energy access debate, and other issues of concern to Canadians. And, we take a meaningful look at eradicating homelessness with experts Margo Long, Chris Beausoleil, Cynthia Puddu, Susan McGee, Cheryl Whiskeyjack, and Jordan Reiniger.
Publisher Derek Fildebrandt, news editor Dave Naylor, podcast editor Cory Morgan and special guest Quito Maggi from Mainstreet Public research discuss a the conclusions of a number of polls commissioned exclusively by the Western Standard. Albertans want firings for the MLAs who vacationed while we are locked down and many want Premier Kenney's resignation as well. Independence is considered an option by a number of Albertans, particularly when it means all four of the Western provinces as opposed to Alberta going it alone. This is reflected in the growth in support for the still new, Wildrose Independence Party. A majority of Albertans still support lockdowns but that support is fading. While support for independence is on the rise, the federal Maverick Party is yet to capture it.
