Join the Conversation at 303-477-5600 or text to 307-200-8222 Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 6 pm MT. HOUR 1 Hour 1 of Rush To Reason pulls back the curtain on the economic forces quietly reshaping everyday life—from interest rates and housing to global power and artificial intelligence. John Rush and Andy Peth are joined by Jordan Goodman, America's Money Answer Man, for a fast-moving conversation that connects the dots between the Federal Reserve, national debt, and political pressure. What happens when foreign nations lose confidence in U.S. Treasuries—and what does that mean for interest rates, inflation, and housing affordability? The discussion expands into global strategy, examining China's grip on gold, silver, and rare-earth minerals, and whether the U.S. can realistically regain control through projects such as domestic mining and refining. Then the lens shifts to the future: prediction markets outperforming polls, crypto's brutal volatility, and AI's rapid takeover of entire industries. From journalism layoffs to software companies losing relevance, the hour raises an uncomfortable question: Are jobs, institutions, and even governments adapting fast enough? This is a wide-angle look at power, money, and technology colliding… and the consequences most people aren't ready for. HOUR 2 Hour 2 of Rush To Reason dives headfirst into one of the most explosive questions in American politics: is the two-party system broken—or is breaking it exactly what empowers the wrong people? John Rush and Andy Pate are joined by Tom Joseph, founder of America's Main Street Party (https://www.mainstreetparty.org/), who lays out a bold plan to overhaul how candidates are nominated using technology, voter engagement, and a money-free process. Could an “Olympic-style” system finally break the grip of incumbents and party insiders? After Joseph exits, the gloves come off. John and Andy examine why third-party movements may weaken individual liberty by splintering conservatives while collectivists stay unified. From voter psychology to consumer power, free will, faith, and political realism, the conversation challenges assumptions many voters take for granted. The hour closes with a blunt assessment of Colorado politics, the Victor Marks debate, and the uncomfortable truth that few people are actually deciding elections right now. Is principle enough to win—or does strategy decide the future? If you think you understand how power really works, this hour will force you to rethink it. ⏱️ Guest Timestamps * Tom Joseph – America's Main Street Party - 1:10 HOUR 3 Hour 3 of Rush To Reason pulls no punches as John and Andy confront the brutal realities of winning statewide in Colorado. With the gubernatorial field crowded and fractured, they argue that electability—not ideology—will determine the outcome, and they openly assess which Republican candidates have a path forward and which ones quietly help Democrats by splitting the vote. The conversation widens into a blistering critique of Colorado's political landscape, from activist statewide officials to a base that rewards passion over strategy. John and Andy press listeners with a simple but uncomfortable question: how does your candidate actually beat Michael Bennet in the general election? Then the hour takes a sharp turn into healthcare, as they react to calls from National Nurses United to abolish ICE and revisit COVID-era treatment of patients. Can medical professionals remain trusted when activism enters the exam room? A caller underscores the concern, recalling pharmacies that refused to fill doctor-prescribed medications—and the lack of accountability that followed. The hour closes with a hard reset on messaging about property taxes, crime, roads, and homelessness. If candidates can't focus on what hurts voters right now, does anything else matter?

How does Labour respond to UK polling slump and are the Tories locked in a dogfight with Reform? Guest host Andy Peth fills in for John Rush and is joined by Luke Cashman and Ashley Carter for a candid, emotionally charged hour that tackles grief, leadership, politics, and persuasion in the age of social media. The conversation begins with a thoughtful discussion surrounding Erica Kirk and the intense public scrutiny she has faced following the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. Is there a “right” way to grieve when the entire world is watching? And how much grace should the public extend to someone thrust into leadership during unimaginable loss? The hour then pivots to a hard conversation about politics and strategy heading into 2026. Andy challenges fellow conservatives to ask an uncomfortable question: how do Trump supporters win over swing voters? Using President Trump's controversial post about Rob Reiner as a case study, the panel debates tone, messaging, and the danger of blind loyalty. Is criticism a weakness—or a strength? And can acknowledging mistakes actually make a movement more persuasive? This hour is honest, uncomfortable at times, and deeply relevant. Are conservatives helping their cause—or hurting it? HOUR 2 Andy, Luke, and Ashley dive into a fast-moving Hour 2 packed with pop culture, faith, and a hard look at Hollywood's struggles. The hour opens with Andy's energetic and humorous commentary on The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Is it truly a kids' movie—or stuck awkwardly between adult nostalgia and childish humor? Andy breaks down what works, what doesn't, and why audiences may be divided. The conversation shifts to Angel Studios' animated film David, a biblical retelling filled with stunning visuals and surprisingly strong music—but does it hold kids' attention? Andy praises its faith-forward message while questioning its pacing and storytelling choices. In the final segment, the panel tackles a bigger question: Why are blockbusters struggling in 2025? From Avatar: Fire and Ash to Wicked: For Good, Andy analyzes box office drops, audience fatigue, and why even massive franchises may be losing momentum. Is Hollywood losing its grip—or simply misreading its audience? HOUR 3 Hour 3 opens with Andy welcoming Jerzee Joe back, host of the Jerzee Joe podcast (https://www.jerzeejoe.com). The hour blends sharp political analysis with blunt humor, as Joe and Andy dive into foreign policy, economics, and the cultural issues shaping 2026. They begin with a discussion on Venezuela, sanctioned oil seizures, and the Maduro regime—raising questions about economic pressure, national security, and America's global posture. From there, the tone turns somber with a serious warning about drunk driving during the holidays, sparked by a tragic DUI death. The conversation then pivots to the economy, highlighting a stunning 4.3% GDP growth report, shrinking government payrolls, and what Joe describes as an “avalanche” of private-sector investment coming into the U.S. Could massive construction projects, factory builds, and AI infrastructure fuel a multi-year economic boom, and are voters about to feel the economic shift? The hour closes with an assessment of Democratic infighting, collapsing approval ratings, affordability messaging, and what it all could mean heading into the 2026 midterms.

Their observations lead to an analysis of the potential issues in next year's Mayoral and civic election. 5.53 Part 2 - "Fabulous results from your articles"A resident in the East Exchange notified us of two separate actions taken against illegal encampments- and gave credit to our reports about the relentless misery inflicted by homeless criminals on the neighborhood. Another listener told about their scary experience at the Alexander Docks the night before the sanitized 'Potemkin presser' held by The Forks and city officials.17.00- An overview of the continuing decline of the city and that may be alienating swing voters who supported Scott Gillingham in 2022. 25.44 - Listen to a letter from another follower, who put the ongoing hiring of Safety Officers and cadets under the microscope. "The public is misled. They don't understand thenuances and limitation of these roles. This includes no enforcement... No enforcement, Crime increases. Law Enforcement 101. ""What a mess for the tax payer," he concludes. Hear who he blames. The episode ends with a few observations about the state of public services- be it Happyland Pool, potholes, policing, paramedics or permits - and if that will influence whether people think the city is going in the right direction or in the wrong direction, when they go to the ballot box in 2026. *****In the Winnipeg Sun on Sunday- It seems that government housing units in Beausejour are being used to provide an address for justice-involvedpeople to be in compliance with conditions of their release. But this allows drug addicts, drug dealers, thieves and domestic abuse offenders to be released into the community to live alongside tenants of Manitoba Housing. Those folks -including mothers, children, caregivers and seniors – have not been warned of the increased risk being placed next door.Mayor Ray Schirle says he pressed Housing officials about that danger, only to be rebuffed with “we can't go into the house without giving them 48 hours notice. We can't do this, we can't do that, there was every excuse under the sun, except for how are we actually going to clean up this problem.”Read the exclusive report-Beausejour Mayor asks why criminals are being lodged in Manitoba Housing*****Our exclusive reports have earned the support of readers and listeners just like you- and whether it's $50 or $500, it helps us pay the costs of being on the beat, acting as Your Watchdog! There have been “very, very few signs of a military coup or a revolution in South Africa” , says Elections Analyst Wayne Sussman in his latest interview on BizNews. He was reacting to a coup being one of the key threats listed in the National Security Strategy report for 2024 - 2028. “I can't think of an actor in our Defense Force who'd be positioned to be able to lead a coup,” he says. However, Sussman agrees that some of the other key threats identified are real challenges. He says the assassinations of key figures in the lead-up to elections “means that we won't attract good people into politics, won't attract good people to stick their heads up and get involved with business leaders or civil society leaders”. He agrees that sabotage too is a big threat that has “metastasised through the mafias we see over the country, blocking economic growth, blocking infrastructure spend, blocking service delivery”. Sussman further gives an in-depth analysis of the latest by-election results and previews upcoming by-elections that could set the tone for the 2026 municipal elections.
