Toys For Games 'Cast - Collecting, playing with, and discussing toys-to-life
It may be a relatively slow news week, but that doesn’t stop us from recording Episode 86! Before toys-to-life discussions, however, we talk about some television show recommendations for everyone to enjoy while we all patiently wait for the games we look most forward to playing. Jumping into the news, we talk about a potential upcoming guest for Disney Infinity fans, a potential restock of the Palutena amiibo, new showcases of Battle Arenas in LEGO Dimensions, and Skylanders Imaginators trophies. Oh, and we also talk about a little quote made in regards to the decision to lock battle classes to Creation Crystals - “A sea of options.” The #CommunityQuestion asked about “cash grabs”, and we picked another winner for the Response of the Week. The Inquire This! segment was meant to be tricky, but the most recent Patreon Hangout proved to help the expert. And finally, we had plenty of great emails from the community. All this and more on Episode 85 of the Toys For Games ‘Cast! Executive Producers: Jorge Torres! Josh and Jason are joined by a very special guest - Seth Hay! Seth is the web designed responsible for making ToysForGames.com, and was invited on the show to talk about the launch of the website, the release of Dark Pit and everything else inbetween. This week, the Toys For Games ‘Cast was severely lacking news from Skylanders SuperChargers and substantial news from Disney Infinity, although they were able to discuss the recently released story trailer for LEGO Dimensions. The conversation picks up once they get to amiibo, where the releases of Palutena and Dark Pit are discussed, as well as the Chibi-Robo packaging and the rumored-but-pretty-much-confirmed special amiibo pre-order event being held at GameStop on August 8. The possibility of a 3-pack of the retro characters Duck Hunt, Game & Watch and ROB being sold exclusively at GameStop was talked about as well. The results from the #CommunityQuestion was broken down, and of course, plenty of emails were read and responded to. Be sure to check out the Customs For A Cure: Rookie Mistakes charity auction and bid on some custom figures where 100% of the proceeds will go to St. Jude. !
Adam, Ian, Wylie, and Ben must guide Pit, a kid who looks a bit like Icarus, on his quest for three sacred treasures, which he must equip to rescue the Grecian fantasy world Angel Land and its ruler, the goddess Palutena. Your guess is as good as ours, folks.
We didn’t do any E3 coverage on the blog this year, but seeing as I’m now rooming with former Ani-Gamers Podcast co-host Mitch Dyer (a.k.a. MitchyD), I figured “why not get Mitch on to talk about E3?” Topics include Nintendo goggles, the “difficulty” of adding women to video games, space simulation games both real (No Man’s Sky) and vapor (Infinity), and Smash Bros: MUGEN Edition. Show notes and links after the break. DIRECT DOWNLOAD – RSS Feed – iTunes – Send us Feedback! – More episodes (Runtime: 52 minutes) Opening Song: “Read Or Die Theme” by Taku Iwasaki (our old opening music from back when Mitch co-hosted!) Our guest is IGN Editor and former Ani-Gamers Podcast co-host Mitch Dyer. We talk about E3 2014, the huge annual video game trade show in Los Angeles. Nintendo showed off Super Smash Bros. (new characters: Palutena, Mii Fighter, and Pac-Man), a new open-world Legend of Zelda game, Toad’s Treasure Tracker, and Splatoon. Mitch’s favorite game at the show was Rainbow Six: Siege, the demo of which sparked an outrage about female representation in games. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Unity has four playable co-op characters, all of whom are dudes, prompting MORE gender representation controversy. Mitch liked Battlefield: Hardline, a.k.a. “Battlefield: Cops & Robbers.” No Man’s Sky is a cool procedurally generated space exploration game. Infinity is a still-in-development game (not shown at E3, just something Evan likes) with a similar concept, but a more realistic art style. We loop back and chat about Super Smash Bros. again. In the outro we name drop Star Wars: Battlefront and Mirror’s Edge 2, two games that EA teased but didn’t have full trailers for. Check out Mitch’s stuff at IGN (IGN Arena is his new MOBA podcast) and Rebel FM. Otaku USA Magazine: Evan and Ink wrote articles for the new issue (cover is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure). Evan wrote about Yuyushiki and Red Data Girl (that one was supposed to be in the last issue) and Ink wrote about Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren’t They? (it’s credited as “Evan Minto” but it’s really Ink) Twitter: Ani-Gamers, Evan, Mitch Email us at podcast@anigamers.com! Ending Song: “WORLD END (Instrumental)” by FLOW (our old ending music!)

Alpha available for PS owners only. Little Big Planet 3 announced Nintendo Reveal new Zelda teaser trailer - open world, random boss encounters. Super Smash Bros 4 - New Fighters Reveal - Pacman, Wii Fighters and Palutena. Release date - Holiday 2014 (WiiU), October 3rd, 2014 (3DS) THE STACK Translucid #3, BOOM! Studios Claudio Sanchez, Chondra Echert (W), Daniel Bayliss (A) As far as issues go, this one is pivotal. We are shown the moment The Horse feels The Navigator is slipping and turns himself in in hopes The Navigator will shape up in his absence. We also may have seen the turning point of Cornelius becoming the Navigator… or perhaps it’s the dark past memory that will be his downfall. GOOD: Bayliss and Metcalfe, as always, knock it out of the ballpark with their line art and colors. But the writing may overshadow it this time: this issue reaches into a darker place we haven’t been yet, shaking the foundation of our main character to his very core. Theories will be debunked and the series will veer far off the path of predictability going forward. BAD: Ending feels a bit abrupt, but we decided it was done purposefully… so we aren’t gonna knock it. FINAL RATING: 5 PEWS KEEPING IT REEL 22 Jump Street, Columbia Pictures Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt and Jenko when they go deep undercover at a local college. THE GOOD: Good pace, kept the story moving. Self-aware, made fun of themselves for making a sequel. Good movie to watch without knowledge of the first film. Comedy was funny, only a handful of toilet humor. THE BAD: Story too similar to the first movie. Smaller plot points were not wrapped up. FINAL RATING: 4 PEWS How to Train Your Dragon 2, Dreamworks Pictures Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler When Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. THE GOOD: Excellent animation, fantastic plot, hilarious for both adults and kids. THE BAD: TOO DAMN SAD. FINAL RATING 5 PEWS

Y después de esto te sale Shibata vestido de Phoenix Wright y grita en vez de Nintendo, grita: "Objection". ¿Es esto cierto? Noticias destacadas Tomadachi Life Direct Smash Bros.
