‘Interesting.. Justin Bieber, Kari Jobe, Jaden Smith Teamed Up For ‘The Freedom Experience' -Our Thoughts' This was quite the event, with a lineup that had some Christians scratching their head. It's not every day you see Justin Bieber collabing with Jaden Smith one minute, then have Chance the Rapper singing the provocative song ‘I'm The One', then have Pastor Judah Smith share the gospel. And then have Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes close the event with a worship song. There's a lot to unpack here. Let's discuss. Thanks for being part of the P&M Fam!! SUBSCRIBE!
‘Justin Bieber Drops New GOSPEL Album ‘Freedom' Ft. Chandler Moore, And We're Conflicted' Hey Fam! Justin Bieber has gone from releasing his somewhat edgy single ‘Peaches'(off the album Justice) to dropping a full gospel EP called ‘Freedom' where he features the likes of Maverick City's Chandler Moore and Pastor Judah Smith. After giving it a listen and thinking through some things, we have some positives and some concerns. We're excited to hear your thoughts! ‘Freedom' EP

Expanding your search and stopping for directions podcast welcomes @fedelmusic to the show.Fedel, aka Anthony Flagg, Jr., is a rapper, communicator, and mental health advocate based in Dallas, TX.In our talk, Fedel and I discuss creativity, influence, his latest music project, racial harmony, and ministry to hurting people.*******Expanding your search Guest Bio on Fedel*******“FEDEL” is based on the word “fidelity” - meaning “truth” and “faithfulness”.Born in the south, FEDEL grew up facing urban social pressures, depression, gang violence, an abusive home and much more despite being raised in the church. FEDEL grew up poor, but still his love for fashion flourished as he taught himself to be creative and make something out of nothing at thrift stores. His love for rap music began at lunch table freestlyes in high school, while his high energy and finesse style sprung from underground southern rap. With God's grace he went from a hothead in the streets, to a rap and spoken word artist bringing the message of Christ through music and influence. Now, located in Dallas,TX, FEDEL's music is based on his “I WILL BE” campaign - encouraging people to hold on to God's grace and faith amidst pain and struggle. Since 2008, FEDEL has passionately worked to use music as a voice of hope in pop culture. He partners with organizations all over the nation, including: Pastor Judah Smith's “Jesus Is” and “Life Is” tour, Master's champ Bubba Watson yearly “Bubba Bash” event, Kanakuk AfterDark college at over 15 universities including Texas A&M, University of Texas, Ole Miss, University of Oklahoma, and many more! With FEDEL's fanbase and tour circuit growing there has been more and more requests coming in for FEDEL to speak about his unique story and perspective. In the last few years this has put him on panels with celebrities and mega pastors, and in rooms with other movers and shakers talking about relevant subjects in our culture; including being interviewed by ESPN and writing a spoken word featured in the SportsCenter segment on OKC Thunder.*******Stopping for directions and links to our guest:Fedel's Website: https://fedelmusic.tumblr.com/Twitter: https://twitter.com/fedelmusicFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/fedelmusicYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/fedelity7Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fedelmusic/Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/FedelAmazon: https://amzn.to/3jsYeE9Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7EWlStyJsdfPvz0xeGBgTyApple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/fedel/259145820*******Expanding your search and stopping for directions is a podcast for growing our circles of connections and knowledge together through positive conversations and encouraging communications.*******https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12985720https://facebook.com/expandingsearch/https://instagram.com/expandingsearch/https://twitter.com/expandingsearch/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtC0DVW0O1gkTWfd3TVMmrQhttps://www.amazon.com/Brent-Bailey/e/B0849TKGWMhttps://www.imdb.com/name/nm8178665https://www.linkedin.com/in/revbrentbailey/Available oniHeartRadioApple PodcastsYouTubeRokuAppleTVFireTV*******Support the show (https://directionchurch.churchcenter.com/giving)

Today, we've gotten so used to "agreeing to disagree" that it seems completely acceptable for no one to be 100% right or wrong. That it's just a matter of opinion. But if we can be honest, there are times when we're wrong, and admitting it helps us to grow spiritually and relationally. For VOUS Conference 2019, Pastor Judah Smith’s “I Was Wrong” hit straight to the heart of the matter—there are certain things we say or do that we shouldn’t allow to exist in a gray zone. Whether by mistake or intention, we've all made errors. Some of our wrongdoings can include misjudging someone based on the first impression, not following through with our word, or failing a friend. And we've all missed the mark set by God, having had the wrong understanding of him and what he wants from us. Yet, whatever the area of failure, being able to admit our offenses will push us closer to the destiny God has for us. Just as the Bible tells us, by humbling ourselves and admitting our mistakes, we'll be exalted before God.

"What it truth?" Plate asked Jesus; but he walked away before Jesus could respond. John 18:28-40 is as relevant today as ever in our "post-truth" world. Truth is not just what is good for you or good for me. Truth is unequivocal reality. Jesus is truth. Truth takes faith. As Christians, we decide to put our faith in Jesus, not necessarily our situations. (portions of this sermon is a video from Pastor Judah Smith, Jesus loves Barabbas, not our material.) We hope this message serves you well!

George Mekhail, gay affirming Pastor, wrote a letter to mega church Pastor Judah Smith, (City Church, Seattle) asking for clarification on his ambiguous statement about church inclusion during a sermon. "Is City Church gay-affirming" George writes Judah Smith. "Will City Church affirm, baptize and marry gay people?" No answer after a few months. During this episode, George Mekhail highlights the importance of churches being clear on where they stand with gay inclusion, while Matt, Toby and Joey take this episode to try and practice that same level of clarity.
