While "Project: Nightmare" (1953) is not one of Heinlein's strongest short stories it is worth reading for his use of the Cold War setting. The question of morality, sacrifice, and the use of misuse of the talented for the achievement of national goals is still worth reflecting on.
In this Halloween episode, we reviewed a horror movie, then some horror games. We then played marry, f**k, k*ll. This is part 1 of 97, Part 2 coming soon...
Flint native Jrudak Kadurj has been rapping since he was a teenager. Now he's about to release his latest project "NIGHTMARE” on Halloween. It's a mix of everything from trap to dark mixes. Listen along to learn more about the artist and their process plus hear from their producer and manger Big Drice.
Do you hear that buzzing in the air? It could only be PROJECT: NIGHTMARE!!! This is a weird one, one of our weirdest. Two men find themselves lost and pursued by an unseen force and soon things start disappearing, they have cabbage for dinner, a sentient computer that's trapping people in a program designed to make their thoughts corporeal and a giant digital talking head! It's wild! Must've been the wind!

The film is a haunting vision of the darkness in one’s own mind given manifestation through an experiment gone horribly wrong. While the production itself is rough, low budget, and deeply flawed, the film has a captivating charm and a thoughtful approach that makes it much more than a basic no budget horror film. iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/cinema-psyops/id1037574921?mt=2 Stitcher: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/cinema-psyops Google Play Music: https://play.google.com/music/m/Ij7cs3a2qml6bz2lajomirqcngi?t=Cinema_PSYOPS Cinema PSYOPS Main page: http://www.legionpodcasts.com/cinema-psyops/ Email feedback to Matt: psyopmatt@gmail.com. This week on Phantom Zoned, Adrian and Scott go on a camping trip in the middle of the woods and then end up killing a man, stealing his plane and stumbling upon a secret government experiment to do...well, we're not really sure. All this and more can be found in Project Nightmare! Phantom Zoned is a weekly podcast where host Adrian Torres leads us on a voyage through the worst movies that cinema has to offer. If judged guilty of crimes against cinema, the film will be jettisoned into the Phantom Zone, an inescapable prison where they will remain for all eternity.
