Pastor Ryan Kramer opens with a relatable analogy: the frustrating experience of a phone that's fully equipped but not charged. This teaching emphasizes that our spiritual disciplines, while good and necessary, are not enough on their own. They must be empowered by a deep, relational connection with God. Pastor Kramer concludes by sharing a personal conviction he experienced during a sabbatical: he was so busy doing things for God that he had neglected being with God.
