It was May 4, 2001. Bonny Lee Bakley, wife of Emmy-winning actor Robert Blake, was mysteriously gunned down a block away from Vitello's restaurant in Studio City, California. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The media couldn't get enough of yet another Hollywood murder case. But many were focused on what would become of Bonny and Robert's 11-month-old daughter, Rose. That beautiful baby girl, who grew up somewhat hidden from the public, is now a 22-year-old young woman. She's smart, insightful and she is very much ready to tell her story. My next guest is aiding in a noble journey of guiding people to love themselves. To embrace their natural beauty. To help one person at a time take ownership of the person they were born as, and stop trying to change themselves into an inauthentic representation of themselves. He changed my life. He helped me put down the duffle bag of cement blocks I had been carrying around without even realizing it. I am on my way back to the girl I have always been. I am recognizable to the people who knew me back when. I still feel insecure about my hair and subsequently my appearance, but i recognize that insecurity for what it is. Fear based in an illusion based on a false premise. That I need to be different to be closer to perfect in order to be loved. I do not ned to be different. I am perfect just as I am. And I am love. Just as you are. Follow Shai on Instagram and Twitter: @shaiamiel Call and make an appointment: Capella Salon: 818-784-4247. 12930 Ventura Blvd Ste 216 Studio City CA 91604.

Sheila sits down for a very special conversation with her life long friend, role model and mentor Wendy Dio. She is the widow of the late, great heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio and the founder of the Cancer Fund in his name, but did you know that Wendy Dio was the person to bring the Farmer’s Market to Studio City CA when she served as the President of the Studio City Chamber of Commerce? We discuss this, and many other things you probably didn’t know about this extremely motivated, smart and accomplished woman. www.Diocancerfund.org https://www.facebook.com/RJDSUASCF/ http://www.freedomsfoundation.org/ http://brittanyfoundationonline.org/ http://startrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/STARTRescueResaleStore/
Sophie Levine has been singing almost since she could talk. Growing up in Studio City CA, she studied multiple genres, especially musical theatre. In her growth as a musician, Sophie discovered a passion for songwriting and playing piano. She realized and developed her pop/classic rock style after studying at Berklee College of Music. After Berklee, Sophie returned to California to explore her musical aspirations. In attending the Songwriting School of Los Angeles, she found a place where she could truly grow as an artist. Recently, she has written toplines for other artists, done session work as a singer, and collaborated with various songwriters. Her new EP was co-produced by Canadian writer/producer Ben Wilkins. Sophie lives once again in Studio City with her beloved dogs, Marcel and Luigi, who sometimes provide background vocals. She will soon be starting her own YouTube channel and playing original songs around the Los Angeles area.
