Why is your face aging faster than you feel? You're eating well, exercising, and taking your supplements, yet your skin is still puffy, saggy, and dull. The answer might be hiding in a system most people completely overlook: the lymphatic system and fascia. I'm hosting Cathy Goldstein, a licensed acupuncturist, to break down the four layers of the lymphatic system and why understanding them is the key to real detox and skin rejuvenation. Cathy explains how the fascia acts as an instantaneous, whole-body communication highway and why the face has no natural lymphatic pump. She shares how she achieved a 23% increase in collagen production in just 30 days in a third-party clinical study. We also get into why aggressive tools like fascia blasters can actually hurt you and what to do instead. Cathy describes simple daily practices and frequency-imprinted tools that support your lymphatics, restore fascia flow, and help your cells heal. "You have to take out before you can put in. So if your cells are loaded down with toxins, then there's no way they can take in or deliver nutrients." ~Cathy Goldstein In This Episode: - Cathy's healing journey - Why women feel puffy and inflamed - The four layers of the lymphatic system - How the brain lymphatics detox at night - Fascia as an energetic communication highway - Signs of lymphatic stagnation in your body - Why fascia blasting does more harm than good - Tru Energy's frequency-imprinted body stone - How lymphatics affect aging - Tru Energy's skin care products - Daily routine for lymphatic support Products & Resources Mentioned: Tru Energy Body Lotion and Stone: Enjoy a special discount for Dr. Wendy's listeners at https://truenergyskincare.com/drwendy/?AFFID=526862 Bon Charge Red Light Face Mask: Get 15% off sitewide, plus free shipping and a 12-month warranty, with code WENDY at https://boncharge.com/ Tru Energy Skincare Bio Adaptive Hydration Oil: Try the oil and save up to $197 at trytruenergy.com/wendy5 Organifi Collagen: Save 20% with code MYERSDETOX at https://organifi.com/myersdetox Organifi Happy Drops: Save 20% with code MYERSDETOX at https://organifi.com/myersdetox Heavy Metals Quiz: Check your toxicity score and receive a free video series on how to detox your body at https://heavymetalsquiz.com About Cathy Goldstein: Cathy Goldstein, AP, is an Acupuncture Physician and founder of Tru Energy®, a science-based frequency wellness brand. June is World Infertility Awareness Month, a month dedicated to the one in six couples worldwide who are quietly navigating the heartbreak, questions, and uncertainty that go along with the fertility journey. A short while ago, I had the privilege of launching my book, Your Fertility Blueprint. That day, I gave a presentation where I shared everything I wish I had known earlier in my own journey, including the framework that can change how we understand fertility, the hope that often gets lost along the way, and the truth that you are far more than your unexplained infertility diagnosis. I truly believe that something unexplained is simply something uninvestigated. In honour of Infertility Awareness Month, I'm sharing that presentation with you today. Whether you're in the thick of it yourself, supporting someone who is, or you simply want to understand the infertility experience better, this episode is for you. The products I used unknowingly, which poisoned my system with endocrine-disrupting chemicals: Hair straighteners Conventional beauty products Chemical chlorine-laced tampons Bath and Body Works fragranced lotions Plastic water bottles Bio: Stephanie Gray Stephanie Gray, DNP, MS, ARNP, AGNP-C, ABAAHP, FAARFM, is a functional medicine provider who helps men and women build sustainable, optimal health and longevity. Dr. Garth Nicolson, Founder, President, Chief Scientific Officer, and Emeritus Research Professor of Molecular Pathology at the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Huntington Beach, California, and Research Advisor for Nutritional Therapeutics, explains how membrane damage from free radicals and loss of mitochondrial transmembrane potential contribute to declining energy with age, noting studies in older adults showing improved energy output, fatigue, cognition, mood, and activity after NTFactor lipids, a protected phospholipid supplement balanced toward mitochondrial lipid composition. He describes evidence of lipid delivery using fluorescent-tagged lipids in sperm, with improved motility, and discusses applications including wound healing in veterans, removal of hydrophobic toxins via a concentration-driven “conveyor belt” process, and improved transport of nutrients like CoQ10. He details articles on normal aging, menopause-related changes supported by membranes, dementia risk linked to hearing loss, and rat studies showing delayed hearing loss with NTFactor, and mentions research on EMF sensitivity and planned schizophrenia trials.

How fast does semaglutide work? The short answer is that many people will lose weight in the first week of taking semaglutide if they make lifestyle changes (e.g., increased physical activity and reduced-calorie diet). Remember, the first 4 doses are small and are primarily used to gently introduce the peptide to the body without risking stomach-related side effects. It's important to understand that it's possible to "out-eat" any weight loss medication. So, you may see little to no weight loss in the early weeks without making lifestyle changes. Could mushrooms hold the secret to better gut health, lower cholesterol, and can they protect your brain? Today, Professor Robin May, a leading microbiologist and the UK Government's Chief Scientific Officer, explores why our interest in mushrooms has exploded. He explains why they are not just another vegetable but could hold the key to better gut health, brain health, immune health, and lower cholesterol. By the end of the episode, you'll know which health claims about mushrooms are real, which are exaggerated and where the science is just too early to trust. You'll have a solid understanding of what mushrooms are really doing inside our bodies and how to unlock the secret health powers they hold. Should mushrooms become a regular part of your weekly shop rather than an occasional side dish? And if fungi have evolved alongside humans for millions of years, what else might they reveal about the future of nutrition and health?
MUSE cells are one of the most exciting breakthroughs in regenerative medicine — and most people have never heard of them.Hidden inside your own tissue is a rare, elite subpopulation of stem cells that can find injury, eat damaged cells, and become them. Discovered in 2010 by Dr. Marie Dezawa at Tohoku University in Japan, they are now one of the most talked-about developments in regenerative medicine. And for good reason.Dr. Joy Kong, the Stem Cell Queen, breaks down the science from the ground up: why conventional stem cell sources like bone marrow and fat-derived cells have real limitations, what makes umbilical cord cells a significant upgrade, and why MUSE cells represent something fundamentally different. These cells home into damaged tissue like a guided missile using the S1P pathway, eat the damaged cells, absorb their DNA fragments, and transform into the exact cell type that needs replacing. They carry zero tumor risk, require no donor matching, and get stronger the harsher the environment they're placed in. Dr. Joy also shares her own personal experience using MUSE cells for a chronic hip issue — and the result that surprised even her. This episode covers the full history of stem cell therapy, the biological mechanisms that make MUSE cells unique, the Goldilocks ratio for optimal treatment, what clinical use looks like today, and why this technology — though newer — carries extraordinary promise for the future of regenerative medicine. If you are in your 50s or 60s and wondering why your body isn't healing the way it used to, MUSE cell therapy may be the answer.

Send us Fan MailIn a world determined to sell us anti-ageing solutions, what would it look like to trust our bodies instead? This conversation explores ageism, diet culture, menopause, embodiment, and the radical possibility of ageing without apology. We just loved this conversation with Deb Benfield. Deb truly embodies her work and exudes an inner confidence and an ease with herself and her own body, that is at once disarming and encouraging.Key Takeaways: Diet culture and ageism often collide in midlife, creating pressure to "fix" our bodies just as they're changing in normal ways. Embodiment offers an antidote to body image struggles: moving, dancing, and inhabiting our bodies helps us remember we're bodies to be lived in, not objectified. Trusting the body becomes even more important through perimenopause and menopause, when appetite, energy, and physical needs naturally fluctuate. The stories we tell ourselves about ageing matter. Research suggests that positive attitudes toward ageing can influence health, wellbeing, and longevity. Unlearning ageism starts with noticing the assumptions we make about youth, ageing, and what bodies "should" look like at different stages of life. Rather than chasing anti-ageing promises, we can focus on nurturing strength, connection, pleasure, and quality of life. Ageing unapologetically means embracing change while staying rooted in self-trust, self-compassion, and respect for the wisdom of our lived experience. Unlike ordinary water, molecular hydrogen works at the cellular level—helping combat oxidative stress, support mitochondrial function, reduce inflammation, and optimize overall vitality. But here's the catch… not all hydrogen water is created equal. Registered dietitian nutritionist Leyla Muedin discusses the growing interest in biological age versus chronological age and explains that biological aging is modifiable through consistent lifestyle choices. She outlines common measurement tools and biomarkers, including epigenetic clocks (DNA methylation), telomere length, VO2 max, inflammatory markers, grip strength, and muscle mass, noting that genetics account for only about 25–40% of biological aging variation. Key interventions include regular aerobic and resistance exercise, protein-adequate nutrition to preserve muscle and prevent sarcopenia (with whey protein and leucine-rich foods noted), improved sleep, stress management, reducing processed foods and visceral fat, and lowering chronic inflammation (CRP, IL-6). She also reviews hormetic stressors such as sauna use and mentions red/near-infrared light and sun exposure without sunglasses. Leyla shares client examples showing biological age can worsen or improve, and encourages repeat testing after lifestyle changes.
Your skin has a biological age and for most people, it's not the same as their chronological one. Mayo Clinic published the SkinSpan framework this year specifically to quantify it, and the 12 Hallmarks of Aging now have a direct application to dermal tissue. This raises an uncomfortable question: if you're already optimizing everything below the neck with NAD IVs, peptides, and red light, why is the skincare on your face still operating on a paradigm from 1987?In this new episode of the Biohacking Beauty Podcast, we give you a preview of the keynote we're delivering at Dave Asprey's Beyond Conference and walk you through the 3-pillar framework that replaces traditional anti-aging skincare with longevity science in mind.Because the results you can feel today and results you can measure in ten years are not the same thing. And we think you deserve both.Let's dive in.What's Discussed:(2:29) The gap no one in longevity talks about.(3:06) Why your moisturizer is 38 years behind your supplements.(6:21) The 12 Hallmarks of Aging, decoded.(9:42) Pillar 1: The master pathway of skin aging.(12:18) Why NAD in a jar doesn't work (and what does).(14:22) The cellular housekeeping system that quietly shuts down with age.(15:17) The peptide that affects 32% of your skin's genome.(16:55) Pillar 2: The software updates your cells stop sending.(20:09) The PRP lineage that changed regenerative aesthetics.(22:54) Pillar 3: The pillar our community doesn't want to hear about.(29:09) The protocol, tiered by where you're starting.(37:55) How Young Goose fits into what you're already doing.(40:32) The two tests we're building to measure skin longevity.Find more from Young Goose:Use code PODCAST10 to get 10% off your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% off at https://younggoose.comInstagram: @young_goose_skincareHead to younggoose.com/products/youth-body-cream for 20% off

If you have ever felt like traditional medicine had nothing real to offer you when it came to hormones, aging, or your sex life — this episode is going to change the way you think about what is actually possible. Dr. Debra Durst sits down with Dr. Amy Killen, a former acute care physician turned regenerative medicine and longevity specialist, to talk about the massive gap in women's healthcare and exactly what evidence-based tools are available right now to fill it. From bioidentical hormone therapy and the recent lifting of FDA black box warnings, to full body stem cell makeovers and the concept of the Queen Phase — this is the conversation midlife women have been waiting for.
Today we are talking about Ipamorelin and it's potential benefits. What is Ipamorelin? Ipamorelin is a lab-made, primarily functioning as a growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) or inducer. Ipamorelin works by mimicking the body's natural release of growth hormone release. It does this by increasing the number of somatotrophs (or cells responsible for growth hormone release) and it suppresses somatostatin (a growth hormone inhibiting hormone). Welcome to a two-part series on hair loss. Hair loss is often a sign that something in the body is out of balance, whether it's a nutritional deficiency, hormone imbalance, gut dysfunction, chronic stress, or toxic exposure. Hair restoration is all about identifying the root cause and then optimizing your health from the inside out. Today, in Part 1, I explain why hair loss happens and how to test for it. I also clarify what a personalized treatment plan should look like and introduce the TED treatment (Trans Epidermal Delivery), which has shown remarkable results at our clinic. In Part 2, Jason Carpenter, a TED device expert from Alma Lasers with over 25 years of experience in the aesthetic industry, joins me to explore the science and clinical data, highlight who would be a good candidate, and explain the results you can expect. So, if you or someone you know is experiencing thinning hair, this series will offer you hope by providing clear answers and offering practical direction. How to identify the root causes of hair loss Get comprehensively tested instead of guessing what's driving the hair loss Check your thyroid function with a full panel, not just basic markers Measure your iron stores (ferritin), not just standard iron levels Assess any nutrient deficiencies linked to hair growth Screen for hidden contributors like gut issues or toxic exposures Bio: Stephanie Gray Stephanie Gray, DNP, MS, ARNP, AGNP-C, ABAAHP, FAARFM, is a functional medicine provider who helps men and women build sustainable, optimal health and longevity. If you're thinking about replacing your hormones as they decline with age, it's important to really think through why you want to take hormones and how you want to take hormones. So that you're a thinking woman making intelligent decisions about her future rather than an object being acted upon. Standard practice is that the only reason to take hormones is to take the edge off your most bothersome perimenopausal symptoms and that how you take them is to take the lowest effective dose of estrogen and only to add progesterone if you still have your uterus. But those aren't the only reasons or methods, and I think understanding alternative frameworks of thinking about hormone replacement will make your future better, whether you decide to keep having periods in your 60s and 70s or not.email me: healthcouragecollective@gmail.comAre you ready to give your cells their best chance to not have to stop living before they die by allowing them access to physiologic levels of hormones, but aren't sure how to even get started? On the surface, the main characters in Kelly Yang's new novel, “The Take,” have little in common. Ingrid Parker is a rich, white, female movie producer who has paid her dues and scrapped her way to position of power in Hollywood. Maggie Wang is a young, broke, Asian American writer who is desperately looking for approval and a break. But what they share is an an awareness of time: Ingrid doesn't have enough. Maggie is impatient for it to move faster. When a medical experiment ties the two together, their individual assumptions about ambition and aging and mentorship and power are challenged. How much are they each willing to sacrifice in the quest to succeed? Yang, who is mostly known for her middle-grade books, including the wildly successful “Front Desk” series, says she wrote her first adult novel because she needed to process what she experienced firsthand in Hollywood. She talks about that and much more with Kerri Miller on this week's Big Books and Bold Ideas. Guest: Kelly Yang is a New York Times bestselling author of over 15 books for kids and teens, including the “Front Desk” series. “The Take” is her debut adult novel. The ancient fruit sitting in your grocery store right now outperforms rapamycin, rivals caloric restriction, and triggers a cellular cleanup process that most longevity scientists did not even know existed until a lab changed everything 18 years ago. -Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR -Go to timeline.com/Dave or just use code ‘Dave' to get 20% off your next order. Host Dave Asprey sits down with Chris Rinsch, co-founder and President of Timeline Longevity and a PhD cell biologist who has spent nearly two decades doing pharmaceutical quality clinical research on one of the most underrated longevity molecules on earth. Before founding Timeline in 2007, Rinsch worked in venture capital investing in pioneering life sciences companies and in biotechnology developing cell-based therapies at Swiss biotech company ISOTIS SA. He has authored original publications in Nature Medicine, Nature Metabolism, JAMA Open, and Cell Reports Medicine, and holds internationally filed and granted patents on urolithin A. This is the first time a Timeline co-founder has appeared on the show. Together, Dave and Chris break down the full science of urolithin A, the postbiotic compound unlocked from pomegranate by gut bacteria, and why it triggers mitophagy to clear out damaged mitochondria and replace them with high-functioning ones. They cover why only 30 to 40 percent of people can produce urolithin A from food alone, how one month of supplementation measurably improved immune cell populations in people aged 50 to 70, and why Dave has stacked this into his daily longevity protocol alongside NAD precursors and nootropics for years. If you are serious about biohacking your mitochondria, extending healthspan, and doing smarter not harder longevity work, this episode delivers the deep science to back it up. You'll Learn: Why urolithin A outperforms rapamycin in worm lifespan studies and rivals caloric restriction at 45 percent life extension How mitophagy works, why it declines with age, and why it is one of the most important anti-aging mechanisms in the body Why eating pomegranates or taking cheap pomegranate extract does not work for most people and what to take instead How one month of MitoPure improved natural killer cells, CD8 T naive cells, and reduced inflammation in adults aged 50 to 70 Why mitochondria are central to metabolism, brain optimization, immune function, cardiovascular health, and skin aging How Timeline's topical urolithin A produced statistically significant reductions in fine lines and wrinkles after eight weeks Why Dave considers this one of the most clinically validated supplements in his longevity stack alongside NAD and fasting protocols How L'Oreal became a Timeline investor after confirming the mitochondrial science was unlike anything in their existing ingredient library What the XPRIZE Healthspan competition is targeting and why Timeline is competing to reverse biological aging by 10 to 20 years Why the future of functional medicine will require a mitochondrial blood test and how close we are to having one Thank you to our sponsors! - EMR-Tek | https://www.emr-tek.com/DAVE and use code DAVE - Calroy | Go to Calroy.com/DAVE for exclusive discounts on Arterosil HP, Vascanox HP and all Calroy products. - Neuronic | Go to www.neuronic.online Code DAVE for $100 off - ENERGYbits | If you want a simpler, smarter way to support your body… this is it. Did you know that the birth control pill can deplete B vitamins? And that coffee, alcohol, and antacids can drain the nutrients your body needs for hormone production, quality sleep, and bone health? Most women I see in my clinic unknowingly lack key nutrients. So, in this episode, I break down which lab tests and supplements are most effective for restoring nutrient balance and supporting long-term health and vitality. Magnesium: deficiency signs, dosing, and supplement forms Muscle cramps, headaches, anxiety, and trouble sleeping could all be linked to low magnesium Constipation and restless legs often improve when magnesium levels are supported Chronic stress could increase your body's magnesium needs Loose stools can be a sign that your magnesium dose is too high You can take different forms of magnesium for sleep, anxiety, or muscle support Bio: Stephanie Gray Stephanie Gray, DNP, MS, ARNP, AGNP-C, ABAAHP, FAARFM, is a functional medicine provider who helps men and women build sustainable, optimal health and longevity. In this episode, the host introduces Muse cells, a recently identified subset of naturally occurring reparative cells associated with stem cell research and regenerative science. The discussion explains how these cells are found within tissues like bone marrow and umbilical cord sources, and how researchers are working to isolate and study their unique properties, including their responsiveness to signals related to stress or tissue damage. The conversation also highlights ongoing areas of investigation—such as neurology, orthopedics, and cardiovascular research—while emphasizing that much of the current understanding is still emerging. Overall, the episode presents Muse cells as a developing area of interest within the broader field of regenerative medicine and longevity-focused research.RESOURCES:Book Comprehensive Labs: https://agelessfuture.com/longevity-labs/FREE copy of The Peptide Blueprint: https://agelessfuture.com/blueprintSign up for future Health Accelerator Challenges calls LIVE! https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_YZsiUMOzSyqcE8IinC5YEQ#/registrationBooks: https://www.amazon.com/Books-Regan-Archibald/s?rh=n%3A283155%2Cp_27%3ARegan%2BArchibaldArticles: https://medium.com/search?q=Regan+ArchibaldLIKE/FOLLOW/SUBSCRIBE:YouTube -https://www.youtube.com/@ReganArchibald / https://www.youtube.com/@Ageless.FutureLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/regan-archibald-ab70b813Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ageless.future/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AgelessFutureHealth/DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational purposes only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT): Beyond the Bends—Wounds, Stroke Recovery, Radiation Injury, and Performance. Nicole Garrett, founder and COO of Under Pressure Hyperbarics, details hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). She explains how HBOT treats divers' decompression sickness by recompressing nitrogen bubbles and reducing inflammation, and how therapeutic benefits depend on reaching adequate pressure (commonly around 2.0 atmospheres or more; diver treatment may begin at 2.8). Garrett describes HBOT's history, FDA-approved uses such as diabetic wound healing, radiation injury, and sudden sensorineural hearing loss (often combined with steroids), and off-label use for stroke/TBI recovery, cognitive issues, autoimmune flares, Crohn's disease, athletic recovery, anti-aging research (including telomere findings), and adjunctive cancer care. She contrasts “soft” chambers with higher-pressure medical chambers, discusses treatment courses (often 10–60 sessions), safety and contraindications (ears, pneumothorax, retinal bubble procedures), and practical barriers like cost, insurance coverage, and facility/oxygen regulations.

Eating the rainbow is not just another wellness trend. Stay tuned to learn why food color matters, and what each hue does for your body. Some simple tips for “eating the rainbow”: Add more colorful foods to the meals you already enjoy Use simple add-ins that don't noticeably change the taste (e.g., spinach in smoothies) Aim to include all five color groups across your day, but not necessarily in every meal Keep frozen fruits and vegetables on hand as a backup option Bio: Stephanie Gray Stephanie Gray, DNP, MS, ARNP, AGNP-C, ABAAHP, FAARFM, is a functional medicine provider who helps men and women build sustainable, optimal health and longevity. What if your genes are not your destiny, but a set of clues your body has been giving you all along? In this episode, Dr. Taz sits down with Dr. Florence Comite, endocrinologist, clinician scientist, longevity expert, and author of Invincible: Defy Your Genetic Destiny to Live Better, Longer, to explore how biomarkers, genetics, hormones, sleep, metabolism, and family history shape the way we age.In this episode, Dr. Comite explains why longevity is not just about biohacking, supplements, peptides, or the latest wellness trend. Instead, she shares why true healthspan begins with understanding your own body, your own patterns, and your own family story. She explains how changes in blood sugar, fasting insulin, free testosterone, cholesterol risk ratio, sleep quality, muscle, and metabolism can reveal early signs of disease risk long before symptoms fully appear.Dr. Taz and Dr. Comite discuss why “normal” lab ranges are not always the same as optimal health, why some people begin showing signs of metabolic disease decades earlier than expected, and how family history can act as a powerful roadmap for prevention. They also explore how genetics, lifestyle, hormones, wearables, continuous glucose monitoring, sleep, movement, protein, and personalized medicine may help people change the trajectory of their future health. If you're listening to this and thinking, “I know something is off in my body, but I don't know where to start,” join the Circle here:
