A little over a year ago, Goodyear acquired Cooper Tire for $2.5 billion, promising synergies among the two companies and streamlined services for dealers. So how are the doing that? What does it take to integrate two American powerhouse tiremakers? In this episode of What's Treading with Tire Review, presented by AAPEX 2022, we speak with Renee Radabaugh, a 35-year veteran with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. who currently serves as its vice president of North America consumer channels and categories teams. Radabaugh oversees Goodyear's consumer replacement tire business, and most recently led the integration of sales and marketing activities between the two companies in the Americas. Radabaugh gives us an update about how the integration is going and what it takes for Goodyear to incorporate a company the size of Cooper Tire, its products and employees into its existing business in the Americas. Ashok is Chief Information Officer at TireHub. Ashok joined the company as Vice President of Information Technology in 2018. Vantipalli joins Tirehub from Sage Software, where he served as the Global Vice President of Application Delivery. In this role, he was accountable for Digital Transformation of the business from an on-prem to a SaaS company. He was also responsible for transforming 10 regional technology teams into one global function and shared services. Prior to joining Sage in 2016, Vantipalli was the Turnaround Architect of American Cancer Society, transforming the nonprofit into a “Digital/Mobile First" organization through innovative mobile fundraising and new digital platforms that resulted in net new revenue streams for the organization. Vantipalli has more than 15 years experience in technology and management consulting, serving financial services, media and healthcare clients. He began his technology career in Merck’s Clinical Trials and Research Labs Division. He later spent more than five years at KPMG Consulting, where he served as engagement manager and technology architect for large-scale system integration projects. Ashok received a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and statistics, with a concentration in computer science, from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He later earned a master’s degree in computer science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is an active member of Atlanta technology community and also a board member at TechBridge – a non-profit that supports smaller non-profits with technology needs to increase their mission outreach. Gibbons is a veteran business and supply chain executive with 25 years of experience leading manufacturing and supply chain activities in the consumer, retail and specialty chemicals industries. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Global Development and Product Supply for Mattel, Inc., where he played a key role in product development and supply chain management. Gibbons previously served as Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations for Starbucks and Executive Vice President of Supply Chain for ICI Paints North America, yielding cost savings and improved fulfillment and speed to market for both companies. Outside of his work at TireHub, Gibbons loves hiking, reading and supporting the Glasgow Celtic soccer club. He also serves on the boards of CP Kelco and the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Edinburgh and a master's degree in business administration from Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow, Scotland.
