“Conversations Are Becoming the Operating System of the Enterprise,” 8×8 Podcast, “The real shift is that conversations are no longer just moments in time,” says says Dhwani Soni, Global Vice President of Product Management at 8×8. “They are where work is coordinated, decisions are made, risks are surfaced and customer relationships are understood.” @Doug Green 8×8 is moving beyond communications as simple connectivity and into a broader role for communications as a source of action, intelligence and accountability. In this podcast, we look at two recent 8×8 announcements posted on Technology Reseller News: 8×8 Resolve, a mobile-first critical communications and incident management solution for deskless and distributed workers, and 8×8 Pulse, a conversational intelligence solution that turns business conversations into insight. “The real shift is that conversations are no longer just moments in time,” says Dhwani Soni, Global Vice President of Product Management at 8×8. “They are where work is coordinated, decisions are made, risks are surfaced and customer relationships are understood.” 8×8 Resolve addresses a practical enterprise problem: when something goes wrong, the people most affected may be the hardest to reach. Frontline employees in healthcare, retail, logistics, utilities, manufacturing and field services often do not sit at a desk, may not have corporate email, and may not be connected to the same tools used by office-based teams. As outlined in the TR-posted announcement on 8×8 Resolve, the solution reaches workers through channels they actually use, including SMS, voice, WhatsApp and the 8×8 Work mobile app. Resolve can escalate until acknowledgment is confirmed and produce an exportable audit trail showing who was notified, when they responded and how the incident was handled. The conversation also explores 8×8 Pulse. Businesses already generate valuable intelligence in calls, meetings, chats, emails, support tickets and customer conversations. Too often, that information remains scattered across recordings, transcripts, inboxes and systems of record. “With Pulse, the conversation itself becomes a source of business memory,” says Soni. “That changes how leaders, account teams, customer success teams and frontline managers understand what is actually happening across the organization.” As described in the TR-posted announcement on 8×8 Pulse, the product is built around the idea that business decisions increasingly happen inside conversations — and that those conversations can become a source of insight, context and action. Taken together, Resolve and Pulse point to a larger platform strategy. Communications are becoming the place where organizations detect problems, coordinate responses, capture commitments, understand customers, manage risk and create a record of what happened. For service providers, MSPs, channel partners and enterprise IT leaders, the message is clear: the next wave of cloud communications value will come from helping customers act on communications data, not simply move it from one endpoint to another. 8×8 Resolve: https://telecomreseller.com/2026/06/03/8×8-announces-8×8-resolve-a-critical-communications-solution-built-for-the-deskless-workforce/ 8×8 Pulse: https://telecomreseller.com/2026/06/03/8×8-introduces-8×8-pulse-conversational-intelligence-built-for-where-decisions-are-made/ Learn more at www.8×8.com.

Finding a needle in a haystack would seem like a minor endeavor compared to what today's federal systems managers must face. Let's take a stab at a correct farmyard analogy – the haystacks double in size every day and are moving. That sounds like an exaggeration, but recent reports show that nine million zero-day exploits are released every day. AI is putting malicious actors on steroids. Chris Townsend, Global Vice President of Public Sector at Elastic, discussed the company's role in federal cybersecurity and data management. His argument is, essentially, that cybersecurity is a data problem. If threats are viewed from that perspective, the more data you can bring into your security environment, the more effective you are at defending it. Elastic enables security operations analysts      who are responsible for detecting threats to keep up with today's tlandscape and cyber-attack velocity. Elastic's platform and tools     can reduce false positives and help federal security operations centers (SOCs) prioritize valid threats. Townsend highlighted Elastic's agentic AI tools, which help SOC operators prioritize and remediate threats, reducing mean time to detect and respond.  Elastic's partnership with CISA for a managed  Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) as-a- service was also mentioned, emphasizing the importance of standardizing data for effective AI-driven cybersecurity. Townsend goes on to articulate Elastic's launch of a SIEM-as-a-Service offering for federal civilian agencies, featuring Elastic Security on Elastic Cloud. SIEMaaS delivers a cloud-based platform for next-generation, AI-powered threat analytics, incident response, and open-standards-based cybersecurity data ingestion. Here is a link to Chris' blog describing     CISA's SIEMaaS offering and how it supports federal agencies' cybersecurity posture while reducing costs

In this episode of Partnerships Unraveled, host Rick van den Bosch sits down with Elisabeth De Dobbeleer, Senior Vice President of Global Programs, and Jason Gallo, Global Vice President of Partner Value Acceleration, both at Cisco. Together they walk through the design and launch of Cisco 360, the most significant overhaul of Cisco's partner program in more than two decades. The conversation opens with what made this the right moment to act. Cisco's existing program, despite being considered best-in-class, had been built up over 20 years through layers of additions and adjustments, and the complexity had become a genuine friction point for partners. Combine that with a market shifting toward lifecycle selling, an ecosystem that had diversified significantly, and AI changing both what customers need and how they buy, and the case for a new program built for agility became clear. Cisco 360 was designed to recognize both depth and breadth: partners who specialize in areas like security or AI, and partners who bring end-to-end value across the full Cisco portfolio. At the center of the program sits a Partner Value Index, a metric that defines partner value in terms of the outcomes delivered to customers. Building toward that metric required a genuine co-design process. Elisabeth and Jason describe how it grew from a small internal group of disruptive thinkers into a community of hundreds, with structured input from partners via the Partner Operations Advisory Board, open webinars, and a three-day working session in Dublin. The result was a program where partners felt genuinely heard, and a launch on January 25th that went remarkably smoothly. The work continues: advisor, developer, and distribution partner value indices are in development, Splunk integration is underway, and investment in the digital partner experience platform remains a central priority._________________________Learn more about Channext

Jason Wild is a globally recognized innovation strategist and co-author of the groundbreaking book “Genius at Scale: How Great Leaders Drive Innovation,” written alongside Dr. Linda A. Hill of Harvard Business School and Emily Tedards. A former child actor turned business leader, Jason has shaped innovation strategy for some of the world's most iconic brands—including Microsoft, Salesforce, and IBM—while advising CEOs across six continents. As the former Global Vice President of CEO Co-Innovation and Customer Engagement at Microsoft, Jason brings a rare blend of practitioner experience and thought leadership to the art and science of scaling breakthrough ideas.Takeaways:Stop Falling in Love with Ideas and Start Falling in Love with Problems: Most companies pour millions into brainstorming and ideation—and then wonder why nothing actually changes. Jason nails it: innovation isn't about getting to the top of the mountain, it's about making it back down alive. More initiatives die in execution than in conception. The Waldorf Astoria didn't have a slow elevator problem—they had a boring wait problem. An intern with a mirror solved what a million-dollar algorithm couldn't. Leaders, stop rewarding ideas and start rewarding impact. Pick the right problem and the solution will follow.Innovation Is a Social Process—You Can't Mandate It, Delegate It, or Dictate It: Jason has spent 25 years in tech and he'll tell you straight: it's more about people than technology. The most innovative companies don't obsess over the “what” of innovation—they master the “how.” They build communities where the best ideas rise organically, not because someone with the biggest title pounds the table. Creative abrasion, psychological safety, and diverse perspectives aren't corporate buzzwords—they're the operating system of every company that's actually scaling something that matters. AI isn't going to replace you. But a clueless leader who thinks AI can do your job? That's the real threat.Wayfinding Is the New Leadership—Forget the Five-Year Plan: The old playbook of pathfinding—point A to point B, remove barriers, minimize turbulence—is dead. AI, quantum, blockchain—the ground is literally shifting under our feet every week. Jason and his co-authors call it wayfinding: figuring out the destination while you're already on the way there. It's uncomfortable. It demands humility. And it's the only leadership approach that actually works when you're leading in fog. Stop pouring new technology on old thinking and start building the framework to navigate what's next.Sound Bytes:“The most innovative companies don't focus on the what, they focus on how. And they focus on creating a community where organically innovation happens and the best ideas thrive.”“I don't think people should be necessarily worried about the conversation of AI taking your job. But I think you should be more worried about some leader who is clueless, thinking that AI can do your job.”“Get in the right mindset and you surround yourself with the right people that are willing and able to innovate and seemingly impossible is not.”Connect & Discover Jason Wild:LinkedIn: Jason WildBook — Genius at Scale: How Great Leaders Drive InnovationAmazon: Genius at ScaleWebsite: GeniusatScale.com

Over the course of more than a decade, he progressed through a series of increasingly senior leadership roles, including General Manager of the Zydis® operations in Swindon, U.K., Vice President of Operations for Europe within the Drug Delivery Solutions business, and Senior Vice President of Global Operations. In these roles, he oversaw multi-site global manufacturing networks, large-scale capacity expansions, and complex technology platforms across oral solid dose, biologics, and advanced delivery modalities.   As Chief Executive Officer, Alessandro led Catalent through the COVID-19 pandemic, during which the company played a critical role in the global response by supporting vaccine and therapeutic manufacturing at unprecedented scale. More recently, he has overseen Catalent's transition to private ownership following its $16.5 billion acquisition by Novo Holdings, positioning the company for long-term investment and growth as a privately held global CDMO.   Prior to joining Catalent, Mr. Maselli held a range of operational and business leadership roles at ABB Group, Alstom, and SGS, gaining extensive experience in industrial automation, engineering, and large-scale manufacturing operations. He began his career as an automation systems engineer in the food industry. In addition to his executive role, Alessandro serves on the Board of Directors of Graphic Packaging Holding Company, to which he was appointed in May 2025. Dating again in midlife can stir up a mix of curiosity, hope, and very real hesitation. After divorce, it's not just about meeting someone new, it's about trusting your instincts and believing that love can feel different this time. Susan Guthrie welcomes back one of Divorce & Beyond's most trusted and favorite guests, Bela Gandhi, for an honest, encouraging conversation about what it truly takes to move from fear to confidence when dating again in midlife. Known as America's go-to dating coach and beloved by the Divorce & Beyond community, Bela brings warmth, optimism, and refreshingly practical wisdom to a chapter that often feels overwhelming. Together, Susan and Bela unpack why midlife dating can actually be better than ever, how to stop repeating old patterns that no longer serve you, and what smart, intentional dating looks like when you're choosing differently and more consciously this time around. What You'll Learn Why fear around dating after divorce is normal How those “rollercoaster butterflies” are usually a sign of anxiety, not chemistry, and how to recognize calm as a healthier sign of compatibility How dating today offers more options, visibility, and agency than ever before, especially for midlife daters Why confidence in dating comes from having a clear plan, not luck, timing, or instant sparks How slowing down and allowing connection to develop over time leads to better long-term outcomes About the Guest  Bela Gandhi is a dating/relationship expert, TEDx speaker, founder of Smart Dating AcademyÒ and has been featured on most national/local media outlets including Good Morning America, Steve Harvey, the Today Show, Kelly Clarkson, Access, ABC, NBC, Fox, and more.  Bela realized her gift for love when she was in college and started matchmaking and coaching her friends – watching them sail on to relationship bliss and marriage.  Using her own system, Bela found her own amazing husband of over 20 years, and in 2009, founded Smart Dating AcademyÒ.  Smart Dating Academy teaches singles all over the globe the Smart DatingÒ four phase system – 1) Preparing to Date, 2) Dating, 3) Exclusivity and 4) Happily Ever After.   They specialize in VIP 1:1 coaching, and with clients that have followed their system, they've had ‘zero divorces.'  They help singles to ‘fix their pickers' because their coaches are deep in the weeds with clients, helping read profiles, message, and rate each date after it happens – she makes dating fun, easy and successful!   Before starting Smart Dating Academy, Bela earned dual degrees in Finance and German from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign.  Bela worked in mergers and acquisitions for Arthur Andersen in Chicago for a year before joining her family's chemicals manufacturing company (called CCC), where she divided her time between Chicago and Europe helping to expand the business. When they sold the business to Fortune 500 company Akzo Nobel, she was asked to remain its leader and became Akzo Nobel Non-Stick Coating's Global Vice President of Housewares.   While climbing the corporate ladder, she realized it was time to unveil her system to the world, and it was her best decision ever.  Bela lives in Lincoln Park with her husband Andy and 2 children, Jaden and Max, and is going to be an empty nester next year!    Connect with Bela Gandhi Website: http://smartdatingacademy.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/smartdatingacademy Podcast: https://www.smartdatingacademy.com/podcast The Midlife Dating Mindset Reset Guide Download Make the Most of Your Listening Experience: If this episode resonates with you, be sure to: Subscribe to Divorce & Beyond so you never miss an episode. Squid Game: B2B Marketing Lessons on Winning the Survival Game of Campaigns with Chief Marketing Officer at Aviatrix, Scott Leatherman

Survival isn't just for dystopian dramas. The best B2B marketing strategies demand experimentation, curiosity, and the ability to outlast weaker ideas. That's the lesson of Squid Game, the global phenomenon where only the strongest contestants made it through each round. In this episode, we explore its marketing parallels with the help of our special guest Scott Leatherman, Chief Marketing Officer at Aviatrix.Together, we uncover what B2B marketers can learn from gamifying campaigns to pull audiences in, running multiple “Squid Games” to see which campaigns win, and staying relentlessly curious by listening to what customers really say.About our guest, Scott LeathermanScott Leatherman is an award-winning full-stack marketing and operations executive with 25+ years of leadership and business management experience. Scott is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Aviatrix. Prior to joining Aviatrix, he was the CMO at Veritone, an AI platform company. Scott served as COO at SAP Labs US for 5 years. Scott was a Global Vice President of Marketing and was a founding member of the SAP HANA go-to-market team that disrupted the database market and built a billion-dollar business in less than three years. Also during Scott's tenure at SAP he was part of the Strategic Account Sales Team and created new channel programs to reduce shelfware and support new solution adoption. Prior to SAP, Scott held senior marketing and business development roles at several startups.Scott was recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal for his lifelong commitment to helping his local community with the 2018 Individual Community Champion Award. Both at work and in his personal life, Scott is focused on helping communities reduce food insecurities, supporting underserved children, funding cancer research and Native American educational programs. What B2B Companies Can Learn From Squid Game:Gamify campaigns to move your audience. Marketing works best when it pulls people in emotionally, just like Squid Game. Scott explains, “Anytime you want to move an audience together, gamifying it so that they have an emotional pull on the winner is gonna make you successful.” By creating campaigns that feel participatory, competitive, or playful, brands can inspire curiosity and investment from their audience. It's not just messaging—it's making people feel like they have a stake in the outcome.Run “Squid Games” for your campaigns. Rather than guessing which message will resonate, Scott's team tested multiple campaign “games” at once. “We invested over 500 engagements…we had 74 one-on-one engagements…to narrow it down to what we have as eight campaigns in the Squid Games.” Each campaign has a top, middle, and bottom funnel component, and their performance is tracked side by side. Scott explains, “The gamification of Squid Games is working in our B2B marketing approach…we rolled it out to the company as Squid Games…and it's been really fun to have engineers across the world leaning in on what they think is gonna move the audience fastest.” The lesson: treat campaigns like contestants. Test widely, kill off the weak performers quickly, and double down on what wins.Stay curious and listen to your audience. One of Scott's biggest lessons is that marketers often assume they know what works—but data and customer feedback may prove otherwise. He notes, “It really comes back to just what are your customers saying about you? And what are your prospects saying about you?…That listening exercise, while it sounds remedial and 101, it gets lost on a lot of us ‘cause we're all running so fast.” Just like in Squid Game, survival depends on paying close attention and adapting quickly. In B2B marketing, curiosity and active listening turn campaigns into insights, and insights into growth.Quote“The gamification of Squid Games is working in our B2B marketing approach…we rolled it out to the company as Squid Games…and it's been really fun to have engineers across the world leaning in on what they think is gonna move the audience fastest.”Time Stamps[00:55] Meet Scott Leatherman, Chief Marketing Officer at Aviatrix[01:32] Why Squid Game?[03:08] Behind-the-Scenes of Squid Game[14:18] AI in Marketing[17:33] B2B Marketing Takeaways from Squid Game[42:39] AI Integration and Brand Evolution[46:46] Final Thoughts and TakeawaysLinksConnect with Scott on LinkedInLearn more about AviatrixAbout Remarkable!Remarkable! is created by the team at Caspian Studios, the premier B2B Podcast-as-a-Service company. http://www.sherylkline.com/blogIn the latest Fearless Female Leadership interview, I had the distinct honor of sitting down with Kimberly Currier, Global Vice President of Talent Development at AECOM, about “The Importance of Vision During Disruptive Times.”Kimberly's story is one of grit, grace, and grounded vision. A former Division I softball player turned global executive, she learned early that success depends not only on skill, but on teamwork, resilience, and self-leadership. These lessons carried her from the softball field to the boardroom, where she now helps leaders navigate change and uncertainty with clarity and compassion.Through career pivots (from 20 years at the American Cancer Society to corporate roles at Kimberly-Clark and AECOM) Kimberly has shown that growth doesn't always mean “upward.” Sometimes it means stepping sideways or even slowing down to realign with your values and well-being. Her courage was tested in 2020, when the pandemic, organizational change, and serious health challenges converged at once. Her response? Patience, grace, and a renewed commitment to focusing on what she could control.Kimberly believes vision acts as a compass during chaos… helping us filter out noise, stay aligned with our purpose, and focus energy where it matters most. Whether personal or organizational, vision keeps us grounded, intentional, and resilient (even in times of disruption.)

Together, they unpack what's holding the industry back—and it's not a shortage of technology or talent. It's the culture. It's the leadership.Terry walks through real examples of how legacy systems get in the way—from product specs that haven't been questioned in decades to organizational structures that reward risk avoidance over innovation. He compares that with how Chinese OEMs are approaching development differently. They make faster decisions, rely less on in-house development, and focus on speed and learning rather than perfection. They're not immune to fear, he says, but they don't let it dictate the pace of progress. But this isn't just a teardown of bad habits. Terry zooms in on what good leadership looks like today. It's not command-and-control. It's mission-first, culturally aware, and brutally honest. It's being willing to get "dragged across the hone"—his metaphor for the painful but necessary growth process. Because leaders who avoid discomfort? They stay dull. There's also accountability. Terry learned it early, growing up on a dairy farm, where cows—and their mess—don't wait for permission. You get the job done, period. That same mindset carried him through the plant floor at GM, where he once let loose in a way he thought would end his career, only to be welcomed with applause. Not because he lost his temper, but because he finally spoke the language of the plant.Jan and Terry talk honestly about the cultural gaps that legacy auto still hasn't closed. Technology? Finance? Those are solvable. However, if the leadership culture stays frozen in time, no investment will be enough. In the end, one thing is clear: you can't lead the future of automotive using the same culture that got you here. If the industry wants to survive the disruption ahead, it needs leaders willing to question everything, especially the way things have always been done.Themes discussed in this episode:The need to replace outdated leadership models to compete in the EV eraThe culture gap between Chinese OEMs and traditional automakersWhy true leaders embrace discomfort—and what happens when they don'tThe cultural transformation needed to support EV and software-defined vehicle innovationThe importance of fast decision-making in today's global auto marketWhy cultural alignment matters more than strategy when leading changeWhy the auto industry needs focused leadership amid rising global competitionFeatured guest: Terry WoychowskiWhat he does: Terry J.
