Hi! Did you miss us? We missed you. This week, we're back from a quarantine-induced hiatus and with our most requested (by him) guest star yet, Tony Troxell! We talk about Geeking In Indiana, go into some detail about the recent shift in how comic shops obtain DC comics, and...play a game. Join us! Also: Check out the Geeking In Indiana website. Because Mike can totally make real podcast notes
My friends! Welcome to the eleventh episode of You’re Gonna Love This… or Not…! For those who have just joined us, this podcast features Matt, who loves watching bad movies in his basement, and Josh, who loves giving Matt grief for his love of bad movies. Every month, Matt is going to bring Josh down to his Subterranean Fun Pit (aka, his basement) and show him one of his favorite bad movies, hoping to find one Josh loves, or at least likes a little bit. On occasion, they bring in guests. This month, Matt and Josh are hijacked by their editor, Tony Troxell of Geeking in Indiana, to pay them back for almost a year of listening to them watch bad movies, then complain about them. So, to get them back, Tony sits them down to watch a movie he's loved since he was a kid, his own favorite "bad" movie, Heartbeeps. What will Matt and Josh think of this? Will it be the worst movie they've seen yet, or will it be on par with Mazes & Monsters? Let's find out! NOTE: You’re Gonna Love This… or Not… contains harsh language, and reviews R-rated films, so it is not suitable for younger listeners. Worse, it contains spoilers. Matt loves watching bad movies in his basement. Josh is not a fan of watching bad movies. Matt brings Josh into his basement (the Sub-terrainian Fun Pit, or "SFP"), and shows him bad movies, trying to get him to admit to liking one of them. And thus, the You're Gonna Love This... Or Not... (YGLTON, pronounced "Eagleton") Podcast was born. Part of the new Team Geeking Family of Podcasts, YGLTON will be a monthly podcast, featuring Matt and Josh talking about some pretty bad movies. Trust me, I have to sit there while they watch them! Produced by Mike Wickliff, edited by Tony Troxell, and part of the Team Geeking Family of Podcasts, this podcast will contain harsh language, and many times will review R rated films, so it is not recommended for children. Music for the promo, and each episode, courtesy of Scott Holmes, an artist on the Free Music Archive. Tracks are taken from his album "Happy Music", which can be found here, and used under the Attribution/Non-Commercial Creative Commons License! Happy Friday, my friends! This week, I'm doing something a little different, as I just don't have it in me to sit across from someone and do an interview! Instead, I'm doing an "Ask the Geek" segment! That's right, I have been reaching out to people on Social Media, as well as on Patreon, to ask me questions, and I'll give them an answer here today! Some folks have one question, some folks have several, and I'm going to answer them all, to the best of my ability. So, I hope you all like my voice, as we're going to be hearing it for the next thirty five minutes! So, just sit back, relax, and take in my thoughts to bad movies, board games, comic books, and how I got into Geeking and Geeking in Indiana! Time Stamps! 0:00 – 0:08 Introduction 0:08 - 3:45 "R.C.
