Daniel Khachab is the co-founder and CEO of Choco. Today, Choco's AI platform facilitates half of all food traded in major cities like New York, Paris, London, and Berlin, cutting food waste and streamlining distribution. Since its founding in 2018, Choco has raised $330 million from Bessemer, Coatue (its first European investment), and Insight, reaching unicorn status within 2.5 years. Previously, Daniel was the youngest Managing Director at Rocket Internet, where he oversaw growth across Latin America, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.                                     From Seed to $1BN in 30 Months: 1. We Killed a $BN SaaS Business to be AI First: Why does Daniel believe that SaaS is dead? What does an AI-first company mean?  Why does Daniel believe AI-first companies will win the next 10 years? What foundation models does Daniel and Choco use today? How has the cost of using different models changed? What categories are vulnerable to being attacked with vertical products from the foundation model providers? 2. Europe is F*******: Why and What To Do: Why does Daniel believe Europe is at a massive disadvantage in the next 10 years of AI? Chips: What can Europe do to encourage chip production and manufacturing to take place on European soil? Energy: What can European governments do to encourage energy providers and new forms of renewable energy to innovate to provide the energy AI needs? Talent: Why does Daniel believe AI talent is the hardest problem that Europe faces? What can governments in EU do to resolve this problem? 3. Lessons Scaling to $1BN in 30 Months: Does Daniel regret raising at a $1.1BN valuation?  Why did he throw a unicorn party with the round? Why does he regret it so much? What did Daniel spend money on that he wish he had not spent money on? What did Daniel not spend money on that with the benefit of hindsight, they should have spent money on? When your competition raises a lot of funding, does that mean you should also?

On today's show we talk to Yael Kohen, a contributing editor to Marie Claire and author of the book We Killed: The Rise of Women in American Comedy. Starting with Phyllis Diller, Elaine May and Joan Rivers, We Killed goes back through the last 60 years of comedy history and restores the forgotten and minimized stories of women in comedy.A few weeks ago, Yael came over to the Manhattan Wrestling Team apartment to discuss her book, as well as some larger questions dealing with gender and comedy. Also, marvel at Mark and Andy's pure male privilege-induced stupidity! Subscribe in iTunes, and follow Andy on Twitter @WrestlingTeam!

Of the many fields in which gender equality has been a long time coming, comedy might not seem as important as, say, high political office or corporate captaincy or astronaut-hood. But it would be a mistake to underestimate the power and centrality of humor in modern-day America. The fact that comedy – especially stand-up – was until recently considered mostly a guy's game, and the speed with which funny women have closed the gap in the last couple of decades is worth pondering. Why the disparity in the first place? What changed, and why does it matter? I spoke to Yael Kohen, author of the recent oral history "We Killed: The Rise of Women in American Comedy."

In a monumental show, David and Liam say goodbye in what appears to be the last ever We Killed the Radio Star Podcast.  They hold back their tears long enough to discuss David’s recent trip to Blackpool, where‘small’ pasta means something else and Gyms have secret entrances.  Conversation of their time at the Kevin Smith Q&A in Glasgow and one member of the podcast’s graduation ceremony allows for conversation on the origin of the show.  The question of the week discovers lessons learned and uncovers some time travelling wishes, whereas the stupid question of the week involves deliberately damaging a car.  In the last ever news stories of the week, the hosts find articles on an alligator running rampage and being “too sexy to serve”.  Drawing a conclusion to their quiz, currently at 2-2, David and Liam share their knowledge on Hitler.  All this week on the last ever edition of the We Killed the Radio Star Podcast! We’d like to thank music.mevio.com for providing music for the podcast.  Please check out www.wekilledtheradiostar.com and follow our twitter page - @wekilledstar.  The song this week was The End by DriftDivision!

Beginning the show in a dramatic and rare occurrence, David and Liam are joined by a guest, one half of the Robert & James Show – James!  The host’s waste no time discovering what he is up to in Aberdeen.  They question how he is enjoying it, the internet connection there and various sheep stories.  When James goes off to study, David tells of his experience of going to a recent university interview and the bizarre people that he met.  The news stories of the week segment feature a religious ritual gone wrong and a hidden animal.  In the fourth ever We Killed the Last of our Brain Cells segment, David and Liam both test each other’s knowledge of world “leaders”, will Liam go 3-1 up over David?  All this week on the We Killed The Radio Star Podcast! The two hosts look back this week to discover some key points missed from the last episode.  David & Liam explain how Robert, of The Robert & James Show, manages to fall down the stairs with a woman in his arms at a friend’s 18th.  They analyse his every move and question what they would each do if they were in his shoes.  Speaking of footwear, the two recap how much of a problem it caused on a night out, attempting to get a friend back to her home and cliff hanger a conversation for next week.  The news stories of the week feature a new flavour of ice cream and a horny old man.  Finally given a title, in this segment of the We Killed the Last of Our Brain Cells, the hosts test their knowledge of Biology.  All this week on the We Killed The Radio Star Podcast! With David now officially a student and Liam still enjoying his holidays this episode of the WKTRS podcast begins with David and Liam attempting to keep their maturity as they face some corrections and accusations of exaggeration from a friend.  After an uneventful interview, David starts his first day at college and faces plenty of standing around, name botching, primary school moments, being chased after and tries to stay calm whilst his face is being squished by a computer.  The news segments this week feature a woman carrying out a festive myth in September and an interesting method of financing an electoral campaign in Venezuela.  There is a follow-up to the highly argued case of Steven Slater, the man well known for jumping out of an emergency exit on a plane a few weeks ago.  Updates regarding his case open up the argument once again and David & Liam seek a lawyer for advice.  All this week in a law breaking episode of the We Killed the Radio Star Podcast! Thanks to music.mevio.com for proving music for the podcast.  The song this week was Hey Mama by Black Smokers!
