Avec Anne-Claire ChanvinComment intégrer l'IA dans sa direction financière : retours terrain d'une contrôleuse de gestion qui l'a fait chez une licorne.95% des DAF sont encore en phase d'expérimentation individuelle avec l'IA en 2025. C'est le chiffre qui est ressorti d'une salle de 200 directeurs financiers au Financium en novembre 2025. Pas une étude de cabinet, pas une projection. Du terrain.Anne-Claire Chanvin est passée par PwC, L'Oréal, puis a pris en charge l'intégration de l'IA dans la direction financière de Choco, une licorne allemande. Elle forme aujourd'hui des équipes finance à l'IA et accompagne des directions financières de toutes tailles via FinOp360, de la DAF part-time aux grands comptes comme Kiabi, Decathlon ou Engie. Résultat concret chez Choco : une journée de travail hebdomadaire réduite à une heure sur la facturation, un taux d'avoirs passé de 8% à moins de 1%, et une dynamique d'équipe construite autour de lunch and learn qui ont fini par s'alimenter d'eux-mêmes.Dans cet épisode, on parle sans langue de bois de l'adoption IA en finance en 2026. Pourquoi les équipes finance affichent 7% d'adoption au quotidien contre 60% pour le marketing. Pourquoi la confidentialité des données est une excuse plus qu'un vrai frein, quand on sait que vos données sont déjà sur Azure ou Google. Et pourquoi utiliser un LLM comme Copilot, Gemini ou ChatGPT comme un moteur de recherche, c'est la garantie d'être déçu et d'abandonner.Anne-Claire détaille quatre champs d'application concrets pour les DAF, contrôleurs de gestion et business partners : communication et rédaction, assistants IA pour les politiques internes, automatisation via macros et Power Query, et analyse financière via Copilot connecté à SharePoint. IA en finance : pourquoi 95% des DAF sont encore au stade de l'expérimentation en 2025On entend parler d'IA et de LLM partout. Mais concrètement, où en sont vraiment les directions financières en 2025 ? Anne-Claire Chanvin a posé la question directement à une salle de 200 directeurs financiers au Financium en novembre 2025. Les résultats sont sans appel : 10% n'ont aucun cas d'usage, 65% en sont à de l'expérimentation individuelle, 20% explorent leur premier cas d'usage collectif. Au total, 95% des DAF présents sont encore en phase de tâtonnement.Ce n'est pas un retard honteux. C'est la réalité du terrain.Dans cet extrait, on creuse pourquoi l'adoption IA dans les équipes finance accuse un tel décalage par rapport aux équipes marketing, qui affichaient 60% d'adoption au quotidien en 2024 contre 7% pour la finance selon OpenAI. La réponse tient en trois points concrets.Premier point : les cas d'usage visibles au départ, générer des images, produire des vidéos, ne parlaient pas aux financiers. Et les premiers LLM avaient du mal avec les maths. Mauvais départ, qui a installé une méfiance durable.Deuxième point : personne ne dégage du temps pour expérimenter. Les équipes finance sont la tête dans le guidon. Sans temps dédié, pas d'adoption IA. C'est exactement ce qui a fait la différence chez Choco, où Anne-Claire a pu mener ce projet parce qu'on lui a libéré du temps pour le faire.Troisième point : la formation. Quand on pose une question à un LLM comme on tape dans Google, on obtient un résultat décevant. La déception génère de la méfiance. La méfiance génère l'abandon. C'est un cercle qui se casse uniquement avec de la formation aux bons usages de Copilot, Gemini ou ChatGPT.Sur la confidentialité des données, souvent citée comme frein majeur à l'adoption IA en finance, Anne-Claire et Jonathan sont directs : la plupart des données des entreprises sont déjà hébergées sur Azure ou Google. Prendre des licences Copilot ou Gemini ne change rien à ça. C'est une excuse, pas un vrai obstacle.Un échange sans langue de bois, avec des chiffres réels et une lecture du terrain que vous ne trouverez pas dans les études grand public.Je m'appelle Jonathan Plateau. The development of this piece was particularly complicated for reasons I can't fully explain. I tried various jumping off points, taking sections of the initial harmonica melody, and working on that with counter-melodies, call and response, writing on melodica and piano, working with voice, manipulating the original melodic phrasing, and nothing stuck for quite a while. Then I left the ideas alone for some time and began working on a parallel piece for the Cities and Memory Autumn Project and this helped free something up….I continued by retuning, and taking individual notes from the original recording out - keeping some of the melodic phrasing intact, but slowing it down and spacing it out. This forced a more mellow approach overall, and at this point I took a lot of elements back out again to give more space. At the same time, I worked with Nicky, my collaborator, on developing piano parts and this really helped to ground the work. From then onwards it was a much smoother process, and I could intuit a direction and a way forward. The original field recording and my relationship to it is one of curiosity, and a sense of reaching out across time and space back to Columbia in the 1960's, via Newcastle (where Nicky lives) and Berlin (where I am currently) in 2025... Anthony Cavallo's year long absence from the western districts riding ranks continues to arouse the curiosity of his many friends and TAB followers. A veteran of almost forty years in the saddle, Cavallo sustained multiple injuries in what appeared to be a simple fall at Wellington. Two fractured vertebrae in the upper back required a spinal fusion and the insertion of a metal plate. That plate is to be removed at the end of June, after which the veteran will determine the course of his future. Enquiries have been numerous about a likely return to the saddle for one of country racing's most respected jockeys. “Choco” joins the podcast with his own version of events. He expresses his gratitude for the many messages of encouragement he's received. Anthony says he'd love to keep riding but intends to accept the judge's decision. He looks back on the Wellington fall and says he had absolutely no warning. The jockey summarises an endless list of injuries. He reflects on many race falls but says none of his injuries have been below the waist. Cavallo looks back on one other nasty spill on the very same racetrack. He looks back on the way in which his apprenticeship was arranged by his father and an uncle. He pays tribute to his master Ray Guy. Anthony speaks freely about the nickname he was given by a co-worker soon after he joined the guy stable. He still gets that nickname from the majority of racing people. Like most jockeys he has vivid recollections of his first winning ride 39 years ago. He looks back on his one and only ride on multiple Gr 1 winner Potrero, the horse he rates the best he's ridden in a race. Tony hasn't forgotten a stakes win at Randwick on a 140/1 pop called Reign of Honour. He got to ride the same filly in a Gr 1 two weeks later. He looks back on the day at Warwick Farm when he won a Gr 3 race under the most unusual of circumstances. Cavallo looks back on a feature country win which came out of the blue when Glen Boss had to forfeit the ride. The veteran spent almost 8 years out of Australia  during his long riding career. He reflects on stints in Singapore/Malaysia, Macau and Abu Dabi. He goes back to 2016 when he was still riding a power of trackwork at Randwick, but spending Saturdays at country meetings. Finally it made good sense to base himself in the central west. The jockey talks about his first country retreat at Cudgegong Waters near Mudgee. He loved the lifestyle. He continued his usual practice of riding regular trackwork. He formed a successful partnership with dubbo horseman Kody Nestor. Tony says he also got to Orange trackwork once a week for trainers like Alison Smith, Peter Cornish and Cindy Monaghan. He also rode work for Bob Howe on an abandoned picnic racecourse. He talks of his recent move into Mudgee township where he lives with partner Amanda. Anthony rarely rides in the city these days but has been able to win four editions of the TAB Highway. He looks back on those four wins. With his all important medical assessment due in a month, he's already contemplating the possibility of having to quit the saddle. He says he'd love to have some contact with horses going forward. It's a laid back chat with the little fellow of Italian descent who was besotted with thoroughbreds from the moment he walked into Ray Guy's Rosehill stables.

"What grabbed me about the original rainforest recording from Colombia was hearing two opposites collide – the raw, wild roars of howler monkeys and a strange, mechanical buzz. The longer I listened, the more apparent it became that this recording, much like the composition it inspired, revolves fundamentally around the idea of distance. Different kinds of proximity mix here – the clash of nature and machines, things that are near or far (those birds!). It provokes urgent questions: What is our place in nature? Where do we fit in the chain of evolution? What is our impact on the surroundings? "That friction between what's wild and what's wired creates a kind of unease. You can hear it in the music: a low, unsettling rumble, sharp spikes of noise, and a quiet ache that hums underneath. Daniel Khachab is the co-founder and CEO of Choco. Today, Choco's AI platform facilitates half of all food traded in major cities like New York, Paris, London, and Berlin, cutting food waste and streamlining distribution. Since its founding in 2018, Choco has raised $330 million from Bessemer, Coatue (its first European investment), and Insight, reaching unicorn status within 2.5 years. Previously, Daniel was the youngest Managing Director at Rocket Internet, where he oversaw growth across Latin America, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.                                     From Seed to $1BN in 30 Months: 1.
