Jim Florentine is a stand-up comedian, TV host, actor, podcaster and voice artist. He is best known for hosting VH1's heavy metal talk show "That Metal Show" that ran from 2008-2015. Jim is also known for his work on Comedy Central's show Crank Yankers where he performed the voice of Special Ed and Bobby Fletcher. Recently, Jim has appeared in the hit movie Trainwreck and on the critically acclaimed TV series Inside Amy Schumer and Louie on FX. He was submitted for an Emmy for best supporting actor for his role of Kenny on Louie. Jim has appeared in many movies, hosted Ozzy's Boneyard on Sirius XM, and has been interviewed on many podcasts and radio shows. Jim also has a new book called EVERYONE IS AWFUL (Exempt You!), and he also has a podcast of the same title.

Jim Florentine met me at the Comedy Store to talk about pranks. As long as I've known about Jim, I've known him as the guy who is always willing to go for the goof. He went to a damn abortion protest, for God's sake. He was always doing so many fun jokes that I even forgot he used to be the voice of Special Ed on Crank Yankers, which was probably my favorite characters. Really fun episode.

On today's episode we talk to Ethan Berlin. Ethan is a writer and performer based in New York City. Starting on the show Crank Yankers in the early 2000s, he's since written for Sasha Baron Cohen on Da Ali G Show, Lopez Tonight and Billy on the Street among many other shows. Currently he is the co-creator and executive producer of the absurd game show Bunk on the Independent Film Channel. A few weeks ago, Ethan came over to the Manhattan Wrestling Team apartment and talked to us about what it's like writing for other people and his love of early David Letterman and real-world comedy bits.
