Adam grew up playing cricket in the streets around his home with mates. He joined his local club in Leeds, Alwoodley aged 5 and fell in love with the game and the place straight away. He overcame a nasty knee injury aged 15 which led to multiple operations and this led to him starting to coach for the first time which he found equally rewarding.
