Let's talk about something that often stays hidden in the shadows of our lives – pain/trauma. It's that deep, unsettling experience that sneaks up on us when we're looking the other way. It's sly, making us think what we went through was just 'normal,' or it doesn't matter because someone else 'had it worse.' But here's the thing: pain isn't about comparisons. It's personal, and if it's stuck with you, it matters. Not 'new' as in starting from scratch, but 'new' as in restored, with character and depth. Think about it. Scars can be reminders, not of defeat, but of victory and resilience. It's about looking at the empty spaces and the wreckage and still being able to say, 'Something good is going to come out of this.' Because, according to ancient promises, like a road in the wilderness or a river in the desert, healing and new beginnings are not just possible; they're on the horizon."
