Jamie challenges listeners to see with spiritual eyes instead of their fleshy eyes. When people are in the dark they may be more inclined to try and see on their own efforts. God will open our eyes to new opportunities and treasures. Fear inhibits the future and our fear is fueled with feelings of uncertainty or when our safety and security is in peril. However, our God of Hope (Romans 15:13) reminds us to cast all worry and anxiety aside (Philippians 4:6-7). God renews our strength so we can run and not grow weary and then gives us wings to soar like eagles (Isaiah 40:31).
