Arshad Khan is a multiple-award-winning Pakistani-Canadian filmmaker who is also the director of the Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival. Ameesha Joshi first saw images of girls boxing on the beach in Chennai, India, by Danish photographer Miriam K.S. Dalsgaard. Growing up in an Indian household in Toronto, Ontario, she knew about the pressure young Indian women face to get married and how challenging it must be for them to pursue boxing.
