The reason is clear: water—the foundation of purification in Islam—is usually stored or carried in containers. Therefore, scholars examine whether the container itself affects the purity of water or not.Halal Animals:If the animal (e.g., cow, camel, sheep) was slaughtered Islamically, its hide is pure whether tanned or not.If the animal died naturally, its skin becomes impure until it is tanned. Pirmais un vienīgais starpkaru laika avangardiskais latviešu mākslas žurnāls ar nosaukumu “Laikmets” iznāca 1923. gadā Berlīnē – četru miljonu apdzīvotajā milzu metropolē, tā izdevējiem iesaistoties kosmopolītiskajā mākslas dzīvē un fonā nemitīgi izjūtot Veimāras republikas hiperinflāciju? Rīgu ar Berlīni 1921. gadā savienoja pēc Pirmā pasaules kara atjaunotā dzelzceļa satiksme un “mašīnu laikmeta” ātruma simbols – vilciens. Latvijas de jure atzīšana pavēra robežas ceļošanai uz Rietumeiropu, kurp vietējos māksliniekus vilināja divi galvenie centri – Parīze un Berlīne. Abu nozīme 20. gadsimta sākumā pieauga līdz ar urbanizāciju un intensīvo migrāciju. Latvijas modernisti izmantoja iespēju diennakts laikā nokļūt Vācijas galvaspilsētā, kas gan vairumam palika tikai tranzītpunkts ceļā uz Parīzi. Viens no pirmajiem vācu metropoles virzienā pēc atgriešanās no Krievijas devās tēlnieks Kārlis Zāle (1888–1942), kuru Berlīnes avangarda pasaulē atklāja un atbalstīja ietekmīgais vācu mākslas kritiķis un žurnāla Das Kunstblatt izdevējs Pauls Vestheims (1886–1963). Tādējādi Eiropas avangarda periodikas pacēlumā leģendārā latviešu “Laikmeta” četri numuri nāca klajā sadarbībā ar augstvērtīgo un daudzpusīgo Vestheima izdevumu kā galveno paraugu un partneri, atšķiroties no daudzu “mazo žurnālu” radikālisma. “Laikmeta” izdošanu rosināja Zāle, kam Berlīnē līdzizdevēja un atbildīgā redaktora lomā pievienojās par viņa mācekli dēvētais, maz pazīstamais tēlnieks Arnolds Dzirkals (1896–1942), savukārt par žurnāla faktisko redaktoru kļuva rakstnieks un mākslas teorētiķis Andrejs Kurcijs (1884–1959) – diplomēts ārsts, kurš vācu lielpilsētā turpināja filozofijas studijas. Ambiciozais, bet izdevējdarbībā nepieredzējušais Zāle bija iecerējis Latvijas mākslas sabiedrībai vēstīt par pēckara Eiropas avangarda jaunumiem un reizē popularizēt moderno latviešu mākslu ārvalstīs. Manifestējot jauno estētiku un urbāno modernismu, žurnāla saturs atspoguļoja tā veidotāju programmu. Izdevēji pieteica mērķi: “(..) apvienot kopsadarbībā tos māksliniekus, mākslas un rakstniecības kritiķus, teorētiķus, vēsturniekus, kuri pēdējos gados Eiropā ir bijuši noteicēji un vadoņi mākslas meklējumos, kā arī tos latvju māksliniekus un rakstniekus, kuri piedalās jaunās mākslas kultūras nodibināšanā.” Izmantojot Berlīnē izveidotos sakarus, no "Das Kunstblatt" ar Vestheima labvēlību pārpublicēšanai saņemti aktuāli ārzemju autoru raksti, tostarp Karla Einšteina, Ivana Golla, Fernāna Ležē, Lekorbizjē, Amedē Ozanfāna, paša Vestheima un citu. Tekstus no vācu, franču un krievu valodas pārsvarā tulkoja Kurcijs, kurš veicināja arī krievu rakstnieku Andreja Belija un Viktora Šklovska rakstu publicēšanu, turklāt uzstājās ar savu jauno aktīvisma teoriju, kas līdzinās avangarda manifestiem. Zīmīgi, ka aptuveni puse no “Laikmeta” reprodukcijām ir identiskas vācu žurnālā publicētajam ilustratīvajam materiālam. “Laikmeta” recenzijās parasti izcelta žurnāla poligrāfiskā kvalitāte, ko Vācijā nodrošināja druka Vestheima izdevuma paspārnē sadarbībā ar augsti kvalificētiem tehniskās realizācijas partneriem. Abi divi žurnāli salikti vācu grāmatizdevēja Gustava Kīpenheiera (Gustav Kiepenheuer) apgāda tipogrāfijā Potsdamā, izmantojot analogu maketa grafisko iekārtojumu, identisku burtu garnitūru un kopīgas Dr. Selle & Co spiestuvē Berlīnē izgatavotas attēlu klišejas. Nesen “Laikmeta” simtgadē atgūtajā fragmentārajā redakcijas arhīvā saglabājusies kāda Deutsche Bank kvīts par Dzirkala veiktu skaidras naudas maksājumu Kīpenheiera izdevniecībai viena miljona 400 tūkstošu marku apmērā. Rēķinoties ar izmaksu kāpumu, sagatavošanu un drukāšanu nācies steidzināt. Latvijas modernistu vērienīgi uzsāktais un jaundibinātā apgāda “Latvijas tēlnieks” izdotais, diemžēl savā pastāvēšanā īslaicīgais žurnāls apsīka vēl pirms inflācijas savaldīšanas, iekams “zelta divdesmitie” Vācijas galvaspilsētā uzņēma jaudīgākus apgriezienus. Žurnāls “Laikmets” ir kļuvis par bibliogrāfisku retumu un spožu lappusi Latvijas klasiskā  modernisma vēsturē, kuras nozīmi jau tad atzinis mākslas kritiķis Jānis Siliņš: “Mūsu tēlnieki un teorētiķi cienīgi un solidāri nostājas līdzās citu zemju un tautu jaunās mākslas formas cīnītājiem.”

She was married to two Maʽmunid rulers of the Khwarazm region, Abu al-Hasan Ali and, after his death, his brother Maʽmun II. It is not known if she had any children with either of her husbands. Her marriages were a direct cause of the annexation of Khwarazm by her brother, Mahmud of Ghazni. In 1030, upon Mahmud's death, she wrote a letter to her favourite nephew, Masʽud, urging him to claim the throne from his brother, Muhammad. After receiving her missive, Masʽud quickly marched to Ghazna and usurped the throne. Hurra's letter is considered the most prominent political act of a woman during the Ghaznavid era.
