Hark Now Hear Spurs Podcast

Well, it's been a shitter, hasn't it. We discuss the team's 2 big losses to Man U and Newcastle, all while deciding how best the team should approach this weeks massive games.  We also talk to guest Glen Parker, who's legend of a son, Harry, has fought major adversity in life and recently had the best day ever leading the team out with Hugo as mascot vs West Ham. With Glen involved with WARE FC in the Isthmian South Central Division, we discuss non-league football and all the joys and worries that come with it.  It's tough at the mo, but whatever happens, we're Spurs!!

Best start since 1965. How bad that, eh? We talk a textbook win over Everton as the lads get over a hangover due to a 15 hour day on the piss last Saturday that involved £50 rounds, dodgy ubers and Del Boy impressions that would make you cwy (get the reference?) Going to United feels positive and we discuss who will be the key men come Weds night. Oh and we find out that Tarrier loves a catsuit! hahahahah We love your support, keep it coming and tell fellow yids. COYS!!!

Different shape yet still 3 more points in the bag, yids! We may not look the total package but we still getting those W's. Kane is looking the part, we keep a clean sheet and there still seems a lot to come from us as we discuss Saturday's win at Brighton.  We also talk about the amazing memories of sticker books and Championship Manager. Yids, we're still unbeaten in the league and we ain't hit 5th gear yet. We break down the last 3 games, talk about City ahead and obviously before that, discuss how we fancy ourselves in the UCL. Yes, can't wait for that music again on a night under the lights. We are also 140 years old now. There's some great publications out and we discuss the beautiful history of our club. It's a tough week that kicks off a tough couple of months, but we've got the faith.  Up The Spurs!!

We've beaten Wolves, but it was twitchy, wasn't it yids? We talk the pluses and minuses from the early kick off and discuss how we need to be better in our away double header coming up against Forest and West Ham. We hear from Conte, Kane and Hoddle about the game and learning how to win when not playing so well.  The Champions League draw is this week and we discuss who and where we would like to play. We have our legendary mate back on the show as we bid farwell to a boozer loved by many yids on a matchday, The Windmill in Cheshunt.  We talk memories and fun stories and even get the guvnor, Dave, to come and have a chat as the pub gets set to close its doors for the final time on August 27th.  We also talk Chelsea and discuss whether a bad performance is a good thing. Hello yids, had a good summer? We're back in a boozer with a beer and a renewed sense of optimisim after our club did the business early, delivering this preview to the season the day before it begins. We talk transfers (in and out), give our thoughts on the upcoming season and discuss opening days that went so well in the past. How you feeling, you ready? Course you are COYS!!!!

Well, all's well that ends well!!! WE ARE IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE...and at the expense of the scum!! We talk a professional, easy victory over Norwich with good friends Matt, Joe and Ricky, all before presenting our first annual HNH end of season awards. Have a great summer, dream big, think big and come ba ck to listen to us from the end of July. Up The Spurs!!!

The Geordies only went and done it!!! We are 1 point away from 4th!!! We record immediately after Newcastle spank Arsenal 2-0 and discuss the last two home games, the incredible atmosphere and what 4th place would mean for the club. We discuss our best and worst moments of the season and down a glass of red as we hope to see off Norwich to claim the final Champions League spot. It's in our hands yids....COYS!!!

It's time. The NLD is upon us!! We sit in The Six Templars, Hertford, and discuss the NLD that is happening this Thursday night. We hear from Conte and talk about the mentality and performances required to win. We give our predictions and talk about how integral the atmosphere will be. The pod is also dedicated to lifelong yid, Richard Jones, who sadly lost his life last week and for who we all encourage you going to the game to applaud for on the 50th min. Well, we got through Leicester, roll on Liverpool!!! We break down the bank holiday win against the foxes before we talk to a very special guest... Terry Dixon is and always will be a baller. We discuss his life as a Spurs player, the importance of developing under good management and his love for the badge.  He is Spurs through and through and it was an absolute delight to talk to him. Sonny must listen as he definitely turned up against the Hammers in their cup final!! A nice cup win at the weekend, wasn't it Yids? We get together in The Six Templars, Hertfotd and talk about the joys of having Romero back, Kane hungry again and 2 debutants who look to fit the Conte mould after a satisfying 2-1 win over Brighton.  We then talk about Dele Alli and his contribution to the club and if that deserves a tribute as seen in some Spurs media.  And erm...Levy, does he deserve a 60th birthday cake? Ok, so 4 losses out of 4 against Chelsea isn't good. But look on the bright side, we've got games in hand to those above, with one win taking us 4th.  We might be slightly short against the top 3, but 4th is on and we fancy us against anybody else in the league. Rough week is being polite. Morecambe weren't a bed of roses and the Chelsea 2nd leg was shocking enough to see us leave at HT. Team selection, men vs boys, not enough quality...what you reckon? And the board...what you got planned until Jan 31 because things need changing to fit Conte's style. Either way, not long to dwell on it all, we've got the Scum Sunday. Onwards and Upwards COYS!!!

New year, same problems, new players needed!! We review the Chelsea semi 1st leg and discuss where we lack and where Conte needs backing this month It wasn't the prettiest, but we are still in this. We talk Spurs from yesterday and today whilst seeing how tomorrow and beyond looks for Conte's men.  Kev even has a song about our new leader... trust us, it's going to catch on! It's been an eventful start to the week at the Spurs... Nuno is gone after that shocker against United on Saturday and just like that, Conte lands in London and looks set to take over. Well, the celebratory wine is back out as we end the week with two satisfying wins… The Mura game was a piece of piss but the Villa game was a positive one, so, it's left us to discuss the squad and debate the question… Is this a yo-yo league season of wins and losses, where good performances are followed by shocking ones? Alongside that, we name some players from yesteryear and debate whether we would have ‘em back to visit Spurs with open arms, make ‘em buy a ticket or send ‘em away with a Christian Gross inspired travelcard. We also have time to fit in a ‘WHO AM I?' Quiz, where Lee gives career clues on 3 players and you have to guess who they are…answers next ep (note: Kev and TJ didn't guess any correctly, lol) Keep letting us know what you think, keep telling fellow Yids and spread the word. It's been a toughie but we made it through the season...and got to Europe, albeit the lesser tournament. We reflect on Leicester away and the last 9 months of this campaign with the help of loyal supporters, as well as having a lovely chat with the legend that is RAMON VEGA! There's the annual HNH end of season awards and a quiz, because, well, every end of season show needs a quiz Thanks for all your support as we started this venture...we truly love it and cannot wait to have you on and back listening in August. Just as we pressed record, Harry announced his desire to leave. Can any of us blame him? It makes next season even tougher, so we've cheered ourselves talking some great childhood stories of supporting the club we love.
