Ahead of England's opening World Cup match against Croatia, Camilla Tominey discusses Thomas Tuchel's squad with England legend Harry Redknapp, who gives his honest take on whether a foreign manager like Tuchel should lead the national team, why he would take Harry Kane over Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric, and slams the “idiotic” local council trying to ban flags from being flown close to roads.Elsewhere, Camilla and Tim Stanley discuss this week's Deputy Prime Minister's Questions with David Lammy facing Claire Coutinho, and whether Keir Starmer is getting more deluded by the day for offering Andy Burnham a job in his Cabinet. We want to hear from you! In the hot seat today is Sean Davis, diving head into stories around his time at Fulham including seeing Michael Jackson, how bumping a taxi lead to the start of his career and an infamous argument about doing a naked lap around the training ground. Coming through was part of the Fulham Wednesday club alongside the likes of Chris Coleman, Andy Melville, Kit Simmons & Lee Clark. Going out on Wednesday nights in Wimbledon is always a dangerous game when the assistant manager is driving around. He talks candidly about his nightmare spell at Spurs the clashes with Harry Redknapp, being humiliated in training by Martin Jol, sending a rogue text from the physio's phone, and the heartbreak of being left off the bench for the FA Cup Final despite having eight tickets for his family. Sean also tells the story of the Kingsbridge financial scandal that devastated him and dozens of other footballers losing money he didn't even know was gone, HMRC turning up at his door, and the darkest moment of his life driving home from Oxford. Plus: the Eggy Buff king holds court, the card school that hid from Glenn Little, Dean Kylie punching him on the M27, and Mark Crossley timing how long it took bouncers to pull his trousers up. The lads have some fun as we open the Carling Added Time Inbox and take questions from the audience including Harry lifting the lid on his upcoming spell in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle and tales of being ringside for Muhammad Ali vs Henry Cooper at Highbury. Host Ricky Sacks and Co-Host Jim from the Oh So Spurs Podcast are joined by Tottenham Hotspur correspondent Martin Lipton as we discuss the state of play around the football club. It's believed Igor Tudor is expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent, with the club set to finally move to make a change after weeks of internal discussions. There is understood to be a growing belief among some inside the club that a mutual parting of the ways with Tudor is the likeliest scenario with the 47-year-old then able to focus on family matters, we reflect on the appointment and discuss whether it was always bound for failiure. We also discuss the possible alternatives that Spurs have to turn too in the final roll of the dice, with Adi' Hutter on the market after leaving Monaco in October last year, there are also other interim options such as Marco Rose or Edin Terzic, who Tottenham were understood to have looked at before gambling on the Croatian Tudor, as we share our concerns that Spurs could also repeat the gamble of appointing yet another foreign head coach with little to no Premier League experience. Roberto De Zerbi is believed to be open to taking the permanent job, we discuss the concerns if Tottenham were to push ahead with the Italian's appointment and whether Ryan Mason, and also more experienced former Spurs coaches Chris Hughton, Harry Redknapp and Glenn Hoddle should be up for consideration at this late stage. We also reflect on the news that Sources in Germany believe Sebastien Kehl is in the frame for the vacant Spurs post to work in a multi-sporting director model following the departure of Fabio Paratici. It is claimed that Kehl was in London for a meeting last week, but it is unclear whether that was related to the Tottenham job, we discuss the timing of this story and whether this merely a distraction at this stage to the threat of imminent relegation. Finally we close on the difficult conversation of retaining our Premier League status and whether we genuinely believe that a new voice could get the much-required spark from this group of players to save the Club from plunging into the Championship. We're back with Stuart ‘The Wildman' Mabbutt and William Mankelow, the latter who, to be clear, absolutely was not ready for the recording to start, but the big red button was pressed and now he has to pretend he was.As always, we've got two listener questions you lot send in. We don't see them before we hit record, because apparently we enjoy chaos. We do try to drag every question back to the environment somehow, though some of them fight us all the way.And as we ramble through, we usually stumble across some kind of action you can take, environmental, practical, or just something that pops out of our conversation like a startled Jack Snipe. So settle in, listen closely, and who knows, something might stir in you. In a good way, hopefully.James based in Ecclefechan, Scotland hands us the first question today - “Stuart, you often talk about your love of Speedway racing. I've heard Harry Rednapp, at 78, is now employed to oversee the rebranding of the sport to engage and bring in a wider and hopefully younger audience. Is this indicative of the wider world, in that we need recognized people to motivate us to change habits and get involved in something new?”Stuart reckons part of Harry Redknapp's charm is simply the crowd he drags along with him. Trouble is, Harry might not fully grasp what younger folks want, and banking on borrowed fame is about as secure as a deckchair in a hurricane. He says getting people through the door is easy; keeping them there takes creativity, like those 1930s speedway promoters who threw in mid‑race stunts just to stop the audience wandering off for a pie.William agrees celebrity power fades fast, Attenborough-level longevity is rare. He asks listeners whether they're letting someone else steer their actions, especially around the environment. Maybe start by questioning your own habits instead of waiting for a famous face to tell you to recycle.Stuart adds that environmental campaigns lean too heavily on big names when what's needed are relatable humans. William doesn't mind seeing Chris Packham everywhere, but insists motivation should come from within. And as Stuart says, attracting an audience is pointless if you've got nothing to keep them once they arrive.Ray, in Newmilns, Scotland sent the next question - “Why is the universe even there in the first place?”Stuart says there's really no answer to Ray's question, so technically the episode should end right there. William, refusing to pack up early, brings up Terry Pratchett's Discworld, four elephants, giant turtle, whole cosmic circus, and admits the big “why does the universe exist” question is basically unanswerable.Stuart agrees nobody truly knows what the universe is, or if it's just our own perception wearing a fancy hat. Sure, chemistry and gravity explain bits of it, but the rest is a mystery.William wraps it up by reminding us that Earth, and everything on it, is a tiny blip in a massive universe, making the question of “why” almost impossible to crack.*What do you make of this discussion?

Charlie Austin is back with us this time in person, after his stint down under, where he faced off against legends like Nani and dealt with the perils of Aussie wildlife, from swooping magpies to snakes in the garden. Starting out while working as a builder playing for Poole town he got a move to Swindon where he quickly formed a great partnership with Billy Paynter and isn't upset at all that Billy is known as the king. Meanwhile off the pitch there were naked streaks at Cheltenham & burglary pranks. Quickly climbing up the leagues Austin went from builder to Premier League in the space of 6 years, while along the way he worked under the likes of Harry Redknapp, Sean Dyche & Eddie Howe. At Southampton Austin had great moments playing in Europe including an infamous standoff with Dusan Tadic but most importantly he provided one of the greatest interviews the Premier League has ever seen.
