Jason is joined by Jonathan Tannenwald to talk about Major League Soccer's attempts to capture new soccer fans after the explosion of soccer interest around the World Cup, Sebastian Berhalter's move to the Middlesbrough of the English Championship, and the USMNT head coaching job—as in whether Pochettino coming back is a good idea, how the people who paid Poch's salary are impacted the decisions at US Soccer, and who might be a decent replacement for the Argentine if he doesn't come back. Fresh off their 11-city Breakaway Tour, Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerreros return to the studio to process the post-World Cup soccer landscape. Christian kicks off the episode with an unbelievable travel horror story about a chaotic flight delay from Miami to Dallas involving an intoxicated passenger, an unruly accusation, and an emergency flight attendant swap. The hosts then dive into a blueprint for the future, detailing radical ways to overhaul US Soccer and turn the USMNT into legitimate contenders for the 2030 World Cup—from ending pay-to-play under Arsène Wenger and merging CONCACAF with CONMEBOL to creating a 50-state "States Cup" tournament. Next, the guys welcome USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams for an exclusive, wide-ranging interview. Tyler breaks his silence on the team's World Cup exit against Belgium, setting the record straight on what really went down in camp when Folarin Balogun's red card suspension was rescinded 20 hours before kickoff. He reflects on Mauricio Pochettino's front-foot tactical philosophy, reveals why Pochettino declaring he "wished he was American" after singing Country Roads was his favorite team memory, and details his ongoing community mini-pitch initiative with Allstate. Finally, the hosts analyze the summer transfer window frenzy and critique the latest kit drops across world football. They break down major moves including Morgan Rogers' £117M transfer to Chelsea, Anthony Gordon joining Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski signing with the Chicago Fire, and Casemiro's move to Inter Miami amid LA Galaxy discovery-rights drama. They close out the show with a look at Manchester City and Real Madrid's roster overhauls, Sebastian Berhalter's transfer to Middlesbrough, and a fashion breakdown of the best and worst jerseys of the season. We go over the many reasons for USMNT's 4-1 loss to Belgium in the Round of 16, and how if at all we can take that next step going forward. Also WORLD CUP SEMIFINALS PREVIEW YAYYYYYY
„Pane, keby si chcel, mohol by si ma očistiť.“ Evanjelium podľa Matúša 8:2 Hriešnik zažije veľa prehier, kým príde chvíľa, keď Ježišovi povie: Pane, keby si chcel, mohol by si ma očistiť. Najskôr sa snažíš hriech vysvetliť. Porovnávaš sa s inými a myslíš si, že nie si horší ako oni. Nech je ako chce, pred Božou tvárou nemôžeš hriech ospravedlniť. On ťa vidí skrz-naskrz. Len si predstav, Ježiš to chce! Nielenže chce, On naťahuje k tebe ruku a dotýka sa ťa. Tak funguje záchrana. Ježiš prichádza k tebe. Dovoľuje, aby ťa prikryla a očistila Jeho krv. Budeš biely ako sneh. Vtedy ťa Boh vidí bez hriechu. Si Ježišova čistá a svätá nevesta. Hans Erik Nissen

We've got a special bonus episode for you on 3 World Cup topics we simply couldn't resist. First, we break down how the United States turned up to the tournament in such style, running circles around Paraguay in a 4-1 victory. How did Poch get the lads humming and what were the tactical moves that allowed them such freedom? We also look ahead to their second match against Australia, who shocked Turkey in their opener. What different threats will the Aussies pose? Then, we discuss the first sacking of the tournament – Sabri Lamouchi, after his Tunisian side was humiliated 5-1 to Sweden in a shocking performance. What happened to Tunisia and what comes next with new man Herve Renard swooping in as replacement? Finally, David allows Maxwell to rant about his beloved Oranje for a few minutes, bitterly complaining about their approach in the final 20 minutes against Japan, Ronald Koemen's tactical prowess, and the state of Dutch coaching. Cheers to Mauricio Pochettino!

Pochází z Loučné nad Desnou, stavbu přečerpávací elektrárny tak vnímal zblízka od dětství. Pracovat v ní začal v roce 1993 jako elektrikář. Vypadala prý v podstatě stejně jako dnes. „Samozřejmě nějaké zásahy jsme provedli, např. oběžná kola jsou vylepšená a mají větší účinnost. Dělali jsme převíjení statorového vinutí, a taky dost vyrostly stromy okolo,“ vzpomíná vedoucí provozu Ludvík Štrobl.
Welcome to the very first episode of the Rule the Roost World Cup Digest - your 15 minute morning wrap-up of the biggest talking points from across the tournament. On today's 15-minute briefing: Opening Day Reflections: Lovely opening ceremony—unapologetically LATAM and a massive spectacle to get us underway. It is just a shame the referee didn't get the carnival brief, marring the Mexico vs South Africa clash with a terrible performance and red cards aplenty. South Africa looked a bit sluggish, but it was a great moment for Raúl Jiménez - a feel good World Cup story. Poch is Cooking: Mauricio Pochettino has the USA absolutely balling out. In their match against Paraguay (who are absolutely no pushover), they looked exactly like peak 2016/17 Spurs. Well done. Canada's Spursy Vibe: Canada played some brilliant stuff that felt incredibly familiar. Plenty of style but perhaps lacking those killer final balls and ruthless finishers. However, that Cyle Larin goal was undeniably great. South Korea & Sonny: South Korea are playing some fantastic football, but is Son Heung-min starting to look a bit washed? Plus, I lament the fact that Lee Kang-in doesn't want to follow in Son's footsteps and make the move to N17. Brazil vs Morocco Preview: Looking ahead to tonight's massive matchup. After revisiting some classic matches from the 90s and 00s and seeing just how brilliant they were, it begs the question: have the broader tactical changes in modern football been the main reason for Brazil's struggles of late? Scotland's Late Night: It is a shame that the World Cup kick-off times are so late here in Europe, but we are wishing Scotland all the best as they get underway. Learn more about your ad choices. With the World Cup just 16 days away, the wait is finally over: Mauricio Pochettino has named his 26-man squad for the World Cup on home soil! Poppy Miller, Jimmy Conrad, Charlie Davies, and Benny Feilhaber react to every major decision as the roster for the biggest tournament in modern USMNT history is officially revealed, and the pressure surrounding this group ahead of the World Cup's return to U.S. soil for the first time since 1994. The crew breaks down Pochettino's squad line-by-line, debates the strongest possible starting XI, and examines how players like Weston McKennie can help the U.S. handle the enormous expectations that come with a home tournament. The guys also react to the controversial revelation that some players were informed of their omission via email rather than a phone call, before discussing the notable absences of Diego Luna and Tanner Tessmann. Plus, with Gio Reyna headed to his second World Cup, Jimmy shares a personal message for the talented playmaker as he looks to seize his moment on the sport's biggest stage. And to close the show, we hear from Sergiño Dest and Alejandro Zendejas on the excitement, nerves, and responsibility of representing the Red, White and Blue at a home World Cup! The Fire closed the first half of their season on a high note, getting a hard-fought 2-1 win over visiting Toronto FC. Before getting into that, though, John and Tim get struck with World Cup fever and ask if Poch is even bothering to phone it in with the USMNT. When they actually get down to the game at hand, the hosts find a lot to like from a gritty performance. From Robin Lod's improved form, resulting in the opening goal, to Berhalter making adjustments at half that finally seemed to tighten things up with the 4-4-2, all the way to Djé's strong performance off the bench, John and Tim take a lot of positives from a game that was far from the prettiest game on the pitch in the Fire's last game for a month and a half.

Kevin, The Chief, and podcast debutant Shawn are here to talk all about that insane performance against Orlando City this weekend. The offense, it appears, has been fixed. Kenji Mboma Dem has emerged as the second striker we've been looking for, Dado is a G+ Boost stud, and Roman makes his last second pitch to Poch. Chris Wittyngham, Tony Meola, and Benny Feilhaber react to the news that Johnny Cardoso will require ankle surgery, and what it could mean for the makeup of the USMNT squad. With Christian Pulisic, Tanner Tessmann, and Tim Weah also dealing with late-season knocks, how worried should U.S. fans be about the mounting injury list? The crew also breaks down what Mauricio Pochettino and his staff learned while scouting over the weekend, whether Jack McGlynn's brace vs. LAFC earned him a closer look, and if Poch is making a mistake by limiting his pre-World Cup camp to just 26 players. Plus, with Cardoso likely out of contention for the World Cup, the guys revisit their projected roster. If Pochettino switches back to a back four, how many defenders does he need to bring? Clint Dempsey headlines a good-to-great episode, but first Jimmy Conrad, Charlie Davies, and Benny Feilhaber get to the mystery of Tony Meola's whereabouts and react to Türkiye star Arda Güler being shut down for the rest of the club season. The crew also breaks down a busy midweek for Americans abroad. Benny wonders how Mauricio Pochettino might shape the USMNT midfield, and if there is a logical case for benching Christian Pulisic at the World Cup... Then, it's time to hear from USMNT legend Clint Dempsey who opens up about his new docuseries “You Don't Know Where I'm From Dawg,” and doesn't hold back on the current state of youth soccer, Poch's substitutions, and his thoughts about the team's chances at the World Cup. Plus, the guys try to make sense of a wild night in MLS where defending was optional, and look ahead to the weekend's slate of games.
