Pastor Josh preaches from 2 Timothy 4:16-22. 2nd Timothy 4:16-22 Study Questions 1) In what ways do we see Christ standing with and strengthening us in our lives? What are some personal ways you have seen this to be true? 2) How is Jesus our advocate? In what ways does He advocate for us before the Father? What about this do you find comforting? 3) Paul speaks of being “rescued” through all his trials. How does his understanding of being rescued look different from that of the world? How should this change the way we think about the trials we go though ourselves? 4) What are some of your main takeaways from this study? In what ways has going through this letter changed or confirmed how you think about suffering and our eternal hope?

Sunday, October 12th 2025 | Pastors Jay & Morgon Wallace | “Faith isn't just going about your life hoping your desire will come to pass, we have a part to play. Our part is obedience! Not only do we have to keep the faith but we have to be obedient in our season of waiting so that our season of reaping will be bountiful!” - Mrs. Morgon WallaceHere's what I've learned through it all: Don't give up; don't be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! Psalm 27:14 (TPT)

Pastor Josh preaches from 2 Timothy 4:6-8. Paul uses the imagery of a drink offering being poured out to signify that thetime had come to end his ministry. In what ways does this depiction describethe mentality we should have regarding our own service to Christ? In verse 7, Paul uses the words “fight” and “race” to describe the Christianlife. In what ways do both of these depictions speak to the reality of living in this world as Christians? How does the local church help in fighting the fight and running the race? How do we as Christians guard our hearts against the fear of death? Howdoes Paul's “eternal perspective” give us some insight on where our hearts and minds should be grounded? How often do you think about Heaven? What are the things you are mostexcited about? Why is it important that we dwell on Heaven more often then we do now?
Pastor Josh preaches from 2 Timothy 4:1-5. 2nd Timothy 4:1-5 Study Questions 1) Paul admonishes Timothy in verse 2 to preach the Word both in and out of season. What are the dangers of the Word only being preached when it is convenient or acceptable? What should we look for in a preacher or church to determine whether or not the Word is truly being preached? 2) In light of verses 3-4, how should believers discern and respond to teachings that cater to “itching ears,” such as the prosperity gospel? What role does the local church take in this response? 3) In verse 3 Paul says “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions…” What are the dangers of only surrounding ourselves with teachers that say what we want to hear? How do we avoid this? 4) How can we pray for the pastors of local churches that have been tasked with the responsibility of preaching the Word of God in a culture where it will bring them ridicule or suffering? What are some practical ways you can encourage your pastors and fellow members in this?
In this final message of the Stand Up! series, Paul’s closing words in 2 Timothy 4:6–22 remind us that the Christian life is a race to be run with endurance and a fight to be finished in faith. Drawing from his own example, Paul shows us how to live with the end in sight—pouring out our lives as an offering to God, staying faithful even when others fall away, trusting the Lord’s presence and power through every hardship, and leaving behind a legacy of faithfulness for those who follow. Finishing well isn’t about earthly success or recognition; it’s about running our race for the glory of the One who will one day welcome us home.

Tell us whatcha' think! Send a text to us, here! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our podcast. In the U.S., a national push to reform K-12 education through policy and law changes is gaining momentum, driven by organizations, NGOs, and lobbyists. This movement is notably propelled by the SIECUS initiative, originally established in 1964 to promote comprehensive sex education. SIECUS has evolved, promoting sex education as a vehicle for broad cultural shifts towards sexual and reproductive freedoms. Their "Sex Ed for Social Change" campaign aims to influence societal norms and rights related to sexual health by integrating these lessons into school curriculums. Critics argue that this approach promotes a liberal agenda, extending beyond education to include broader social influences. Sex Ed For Social Change RebrandThe campaign has led to a significant rise in legislative actions with SIECUS at the helm of the Sex Education Policy Action Council (SEPAC), collaborating with various state entities to propagate comprehensive sex education policies. This coordinated effort seeks to increase the adoption of these policies at all levels of government and boost the number of policymakers supportive of comprehensive sex education.Despite the advocacy for educational and social change, there has been a notable backlash with a marked increase in parental rights bills and restrictive legislation concerning sexual and reproductive health education. This resistance highlights a growing divide over the role of education in shaping societal values and the rights of parents in overseeing their children's education. The battle lines are drawn as both sides mobilize to shape the future cultural landscape through the educational system.Support the showIf you need assistance with a situation in your area, please fill out our free consultation form.DONATE TODAY!www.ParentsRightsInEducation.com
Pastor Josh preaches from 2 Timothy 2:14-19.2nd Timothy 2:14-19 Study Questions 1) What are some examples of “quarreling about words” as seen in verse 14? What are some ways we can keep ourselves from falling into this practice? How does the local church play into this? 2) Paul instructs Timothy to present himself as a worker that is approved by God? In what ways do we have a responsibility to present ourselves in the same way? 3) In verse 17, Paul specifically calls out Hymenaeus and Philetus for the damage they have caused the Church. How would you respond to someone that says we shouldn't call out false teachers in our day and age? 4) What is the relationship between God's sovereignty in salvation and man's responsibility to live according to God's Will? How does God “knowing who are His” give you confidence in your spiritual walk?
Pastor Colton preaches from 2nd Timothy 2:8-13(vs 8) - Christ is risen as the promised King - the foundation of our faith.(vs 9-10) - God's Word cannot be bound - it runs free to gather his people.(vs 11-13) - Union with Christ means life through death, glory through endurance, and hope through His faithfulness.
Pastor Andrew preaches from 2nd Timothy 2:1-7As you are able, please consider the following:(1) Where do you find your strength for the Christian journey?(2) What does it mean to be a “faithful” servant of Christ?(3) How do you share in suffering with Christ?
Pastor Josh preaches from 2nd Timothy 1:13-18 Study Questions 1) What does it mean to “guard the good deposit” and what practical steps can you take to accomplish this in your daily walk with Christ? What role does the local church play in this? 2) In verse 15, Paul mentions that “all who are in Asia” had deserted him, including Phygelus and Hermogenes. How are we to interact with those that have seemingly walked away from the faith or find themselves in unrepentant sin? 3) Paul speaks of Onesiphorus's kindness in our text and how he was “not ashamed of my chains.” How can we emulate Onesiphorus in our love and care for one another during hardship or persecution? 4) Pastors are often tasked with the difficult job of confronting those that wish to cause division within the Body. How can you pray for your pastors in this responsibility?
This week during bible study, we're reminded to keep the faith. Every situation and issue of life is going to boil down to our faith response. Can we trust God? If the answer is no for any reason we need to turn to Him for guidance as to why we are so guarded in that area. Remember, only the Lord can deliver you from any issue that you are facing in this life. Trust in Him and watch your life evolve for the better. I love you all and be blessed in Jesus name!If you would like to join us for bible study, bible study is on Friday nights from 7:30pm - 9pm CST. We announce a great victory from the Arkansas courts blocking the state from displaying the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom. After reporting state/church news in California, West Virginia, Iowa and West Point Military Academy, we hear the Tom Lehrer song "I Got it from Agnes" and the "1919 Influenza Blues" by Essie Ray Jenkins. Then, we listen to the talk given at the Scopes Trial Centennial last month by Brenda Wineapple, author of Keeping the Faith: God, Democracy, and the Trial that Riveted a Nation.
Pastor Josh preaches from 2 Timothy 1:8-12Study Questions 1) When we go through suffering, what are some important questions to ask? How does the Gospel bring perspective and hope in our suffering? 2) Paul urges Timothy not to be ashamed of the Gospel or of suffering for it (vs. 8). In what ways might believers face shame or fear in sharing the Gospel, and how can God's sovereignty in salvation (as seen in vs. 9) encourage boldness in sharing the Gospel? 3) In what ways are you tempted to be ashamed of the faith you process? In what ways does Christ meet you in that weakness and provide what you need to overcome that temptation? 4) How can we encourage our children to be bold in their proclamation of the Gospel? In what ways should we encourage them to “count the cost” of following Jesus? 5) How does the community of believers in our local church bring courage in sharing the Gospel and sharing in suffering? How do we encourage one another when one of us is in a season of suffering?
Pastor Josh begins a new series on 2 Timothy beginning with an exposition on 2 Timothy 1:1-7. Study questions below:1. Paul addresses Timothy as “my beloved child” (v. 2). How does this reflect the spiritual mentorship and covenantal relationship within the local church? How can we foster such relationships in our local congregation?2. Paul gives thanks for Timothy's “sincere faith” that was also in his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice (v. 5). How does this highlight the role of family in passing down the faith, and what does it teach us about God's sovereignty in working through ordinary means to preserve His elect?3. In verse 7, Paul says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” How does this verse encourage us to face challenges in our Christian life with boldness?4. Reflect on verse 7: What fears or hesitations do you face in living out your faith or sharing the Gospel? How can the truth that God has given you a spirit of “power, love, and self-control” help you overcome these hesitations?5. Paul's gratitude for Timothy's faith (v. 5) and his prayers for him (v. 3) show a deep pastoral care. How can we better support and pray for our pastors and members to remain faithful in their calling?
