This year, after realising the gap in the market around quality studio experiences, he and his partner Claire took on the massive task of creating the space and the product to meet that demand. The result is a studio aimed toward experience, luxury and COFFEE. As the construction ties up and we start moving into a functioning studio, it's awesome to sit down and have a proper discussion about the process and the reasonings behind going down this route.

It's been a few weeks since our leading ladies have taken the main stage together, but Sian and Shreya are back and better than ever. This week the discussion is on shoulding - the cognitive distortion of making statements of what should be true, as opposed to reality. It's hard when things don't meet the expectations of your 'shoulds'. But it's important to recognise and understand your boundaries to achieve them.
Is your client ready to sign on the dotted line? Are you ready to let them? Contracting is an essential part of business. People often don't realise how important it is to get the process right. It's easy to jump the gun and sign a client on, but there are many steps that shouldn't be missed. Working with a client can be demanding, so you have to make sure you are all on the same page to move forward.
The worlds getting back to normal post covid.... but is that a good thing? The pandemic has caused the world to slow down. Being isolated to our corner of the world has meant we've had to look to our own backyard for travel and business opportunities - and Aotearoa didn't disappoint. The dilemma Stan and Drew and many other business leaders are facing is - what business opportunities for overseas travel will provide value? It's new territory to navigate, and watching this new normal unfold will be interesting.

Unfortunately, it's not quite as straightforward as that… Special guests: RJ & Patch
