Be Strong and Courageous | Joshua 1:6-9 | Pastor Josef Rasheed In this encouraging message from Joshua 1:6-9, Pastor Josef Rasheed challenges both Pastor Dave and the Redeemer congregation to embrace God's command: “Be strong and courageous.” Just as Joshua was called to lead Israel after the death of Moses, believers today are called to trust God's promises, follow His Word, and courageously fulfill His purposes. Key Scripture Joshua 1:6-9 (NIV) 6. Be Strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 7. Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you ay have good success wherever you go. 8. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Main Challenges and Encouragements Theme: "Be Strong and Courageous" (Joshua 1:6-9) Pastor Rasheed's message centered on God's repeated command to Joshua: "Be strong and courageous." He applied this challenge both to Pastor Dave as a leader and to the Redeemer congregation as followers of Christ. Challenges 1. Accept God's Calling and Leadership Just as Joshua was commissioned to lead Israel after Moses, Pastor Dave has been commissioned by God to lead the church into its next season. Leadership requires faith, perseverance, and dependence on God rather than personal strength. 2. Lead People Across Their Fears The Jordan River represented the fears and obstacles facing Israel. Believers are called to trust God through uncertainty and help others move beyond fear into faith. 3. Obey God's Word Completely Pastor Rasheed emphasized Joshua 1:7-8, calling believers to: Obey Scripture faithfully. Keep God's Word on their lips. Meditate on it day and night. Allow God's truth to guide every decision. 4. Walk in Spiritual Freedom Christians are called to live free from traditions, habits, and bondages that keep them from fully following Christ. The congregation is challenged to help others experience the freedom found in Jesus. 5. Support and Pray for Church Leadership The church was urged to stand with Pastor Dave through prayer, encouragement, unity, and faithful service. Rather than participating in criticism or division, believers should lift up their leaders before God. 6. Stand Firm in a Culture Moving Away from God The congregation was challenged to remain faithful to biblical truth even when society rejects Christian values. Parents were specifically encouraged to raise their children in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. Encouragements 1. God Commissions Those He Calls Throughout Scripture, God called and equipped people such as Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah, Paul, and Joshua. If God calls someone to a task, He will also provide the strength and resources to accomplish it. 2. God Is Always Present The central encouragement came from Joshua 1:9: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Stijn Schmitz welcomes Josef Schachter to the show. Josef is the Founder of Schachter Asset Management Inc. Josef clarifies that the current energy market tightness is not a crude oil shortage but a severe refining capacity problem, particularly impacting Asia. While US production has surged to 24 million barrels daily, allowing for exports, a lack of refined products in Asia has driven local prices to the equivalent of over $150 per barrel. He attributes the volatility to geopolitical tensions, noting that oil prices swung from the high $90s to $67 before rebounding into the mid-$80s on renewed conflict fears. Schachter outlines three potential scenarios for oil prices. If peace talks succeed and the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab reopen, prices could fall back below $70, aided by China's massive strategic reserves and floating storage. If the conflict remains contained, a trading range between $70 and $94 is likely. However, a significant escalation involving Iran and key shipping lanes could push prices past the previous high of $119, potentially reaching $141.50. He warns that such a sustained spike above $120 would trigger severe global economic headwinds, combining with AI-driven job losses and high government debt to potentially cause a deep recession. From an investment perspective, Schachter sees energy producers as undervalued, trading on long-term price assumptions of $60-$65 oil despite his forecast of $80 average for the year and $90 in 2027. He highlights Canada as a particularly attractive region due to a new, supportive political stance toward fossil fuels, vast undrilled reserves, and discounted valuations compared to US peers.

Why does humanity keep repeating the same painful patterns, even when a more peaceful path is available? In this profound conversation, returning guest Cindy Edison shares the teachings of Josef, a collective consciousness that explores the evolution of human awareness and the power of vibrational alignment. Together, we examine why fear has become humanity's greatest addiction, how our focus shapes every experience we have, and why so many people unknowingly recreate the same struggles throughout their lives.Throughout this eye-opening discussion, Cindy explains why the light isn't suddenly arriving on Earth—but rather humanity is finally becoming aware of it. We explore the awakening happening across the planet, how media and fear influence collective consciousness, why meditation isn't the only path to inner peace, and how shifting your attention from fear to love can completely transform your reality. If you've ever wondered why life seems chaotic, how to break free from limiting beliefs, or what it truly means to create your own reality, this conversation offers practical wisdom for navigating these extraordinary times.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/next-level-soul-podcast-with-alex-ferrari--4858435/support.Take your spiritual journey to the next level with Next Level Soul TV — our dedicated streaming home for conscious storytelling and soulful transformation.Experience exclusive programs, original series, movies, tv shows, workshops, audiobooks, meditations, and a growing library of inspiring content created to elevate, heal, and awaken. Energy analyst Josef Schachter discusses the evolving landscape of the global oil and gas sector. He identifies a new bull market cycle that began in 2020, driven largely by the industrial needs of the developing world and the essential role of fossil fuels in mining green energy minerals. Schachter details how geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the conflict in Ukraine create significant market volatility and supply risks. He provides a technical outlook on price floors and investment strategies, specifically highlighting the resilience of the American and Canadian energy markets. While addressing the rise of electric vehicles and data centers, he argues that traditional hydrocarbons will remain dominant into the 2030s. Amy shares about her upbringing and Emily shares a skunk story. They react to a oddly edited season, focusing on Angela's escalating lies about Shamea including Crashout George. Switching to Below Deck Med in Croatia, they discuss Josef's drunken volatility and vulnerability, Nathan diffusing him, the charter tip, Jen and Luke hooking up and fallout with Joy. The acclaimed novelist Kazuo Ishiguro talks about how he went about curating a season of films featuring trains for the BFI - from classics such as Shanghai Express by Josef von Sternberg and Sidney Lumet's Murder on the Orient Express to lesser known gems - and about how trains have inspired his own work - including songs, and his forthcoming novel, Miss Lambert Steps Aboard Danger. Actresses Maureen Beattie and Tracy-Ann Oberman discuss why they've changed the gender of popular roles for stage productions which are opening soon - Lear at Pitlochry Festival Theatre which sees one of Shakespeare's greatest tragic figures portrayed as a matriarch in decline, and at the Theatre Royal Bath, Garry Essendine in Noel Coward's comedy about the perils of celebrity Present Laughter is now Gerri Essendine, an ageing actress desperately clinging on to her youthful beauty. Author Stuart Cosgrove hails Village People frontman Victor Willis (whose death has just been announced) as one of the finest soul voices of his generation, whose talents were perhaps overlooked due to the novelty reputation which came to be associated with the group. And Dr Sonke Prigge tells us why - and how - he has preserved the sound of the clattering mill, traditionally used in Germany to scare away birds from cherry orchards, for the British Library's sound archive. Presenter: Kirsty Wark Producer: Mark Crossan
Amy Phillips and co-host Emily Dorezas recap a double header: Below Deck Med in Croatia and McBee. On Below Deck, they break down Aesha's cadence, the charter with Johnny Damon and an allegedly brutal guest, Jozef, who brags about private jets and money, talks to his lawyer, tries to hire a local woman, and escalates into a wheelhouse confrontation with lead deckhand Nathan—raising safety concerns after he throws a speaker near the controls. They also cover onboard flirting (Joe/Kaylee, Jenn/Luke, Kat/Cooper), a poem note in Luke's laundry, Jenn's frustration at not getting second stew, and Joy rejecting Luke's cabin invite. On McBee, they discuss Tessa's missing voiceover, Masha and Galina's tense Halloween party history, surveillance-camera drama, Cole's deal pressure and proposal talk with Kacey, Steven Jr.'s relationship patterns, the HQ sale logistics, and Kacey's successful beef tallow face-cream business. To watch this recap on video, listen to bonus episodes, get ad free listening, and exclusive content, go to: http://Patreon.com/dramadarlingFor more Drama, Darling, and exclusive content, subscribe to: http://Patreon.com/dramadarling Follow Amy Phillips on Instagram: Instagram.com/meetamyphillips Follow Drama, Darling on Instagram: Instagram.com/dramadarlingshow Amy on TikTok tiktok.com/@realamyphillips Email Drama, Darling with YOUR comments, questions and drama: DramaDarlingz@gmail.com Drama Darling Shop https://drama-darling-shop.printify.me/
