Nate Sharman and Josh Durso talk all things golf! New episodes every week!
Josh Durso and Nate Sharman are back on Out of Bounds one day after one of the most dominant performances we've seen this season. Scottie Scheffler crushes the field at the CJ Cup, tying a PGA Tour event record and picking up his first win of 2025. Despite a slower start and some questions around his iron play earlier in the year, Scheffler looks locked in as he heads toward the PGA Championship. They also break down Bryson DeChambeau's win at LIV Golf Korea. Then they debate the “small field vs. full field” conversation after comments from Erik Van Rooyen, who played his way into next week's Signature Event. Van Rooyen's strong stats raise questions about how deep the PGA Tour talent pool really is. Plus, a look ahead to the PGA Championship — Jordan Spieth's push for the career Grand Slam, and why the Truist Championship (formerly Wells Fargo) will have a strong field even without Scottie Scheffler.Watch the entire episode below or subscribe on your favorite podcast platform.https://youtu.be/jkeictAcv98
What an absolutely insane finish. In this episode of Out of Bounds, we're breaking down one of the wildest Masters final rounds we've ever seen — and how Rory's historic win complete his career Grand Slam. We go in-depth on how it all unfolded: The early stumbles, the birdie runs, the chaos on the back nine, and that clutch playoff moment. We're also talking about Rory's legacy, Bryson's salty post-round comments, and the state of Masters coverage. Of course, we're also talking LIV performances, how our picks held up, and what's next at the RBC Heritage.
It's Masters Week, and Out of Bounds is locked in! Josh Durso and Nate Sharman are keeping you in-bounds with all the hype, drama, and hot takes leading up to golf's biggest week. We break down Brian Harman's win at Valero, Marc Leishman taking LIV Miami, and why LIV still feels unserious despite a strong field. Plus: our favorite things about The Masters, expectations (or lack thereof) for LIV guys at Augusta, and our picks to win — including a longshot you won't want to miss. Whether it's down the middle or out of bounds — keep on swingin'!
It was a Monday finish at TPC Sawgrass as THE PLAYERS saw it's three-hole aggregate playoff end with Rory McIlroy capturing his second win of 2025. It was also his second PLAYERS title, which puts his already Hall of Fame worthy career into unique company. We talk about the playoff, how JJ Spaun was never able to get it going, Scottie Scheffler's struggles to get things going this season, and where guys like Max Homa and Viktor Hovland sit after poor performances.
We're talking about the state and speed of professional golf—as well as the rise of TGL. While there weren't huge expectations for the upstart golf league on ESPN—it's proven to be a hit—nearly doubling final round audiences so far this year on traditional tournament broadcasts. Check out the full-episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube, and excuse the technical issue that caused me to sound like a chipmunk. We'll be back to regular recording sound next week.
Season 4 of Out of Bounds is here! Nate Sharman and Josh Durso kick off the 2025 season with a deep dive into the latest headlines from the world of golf. They recap the Sentry's key takeaways, preview the launch of the highly anticipated TGL league, and discuss the Crypto.com Showdown—a $10 million faceoff featuring golf's biggest stars. The episode also dives into the latest updates on the PGA-PIF deal, which inches closer to a $1.5 billion agreement. Plus, they debate who had the bigger breakout year—Xander Schauffele or Bryson DeChambeau—and who's more likely to continue their dominance in 2025: Scottie Scheffler or Nelly Korda. Tune in and stay Out of Bounds!
