Newly-appointed Presidents Cup captain Brandt Snedeker and writer Michael Bamberger joined the program today. Snedeker talked about the task that lies ahead, the traits he will look for in team selections, making sure the team knows the plan in advance and how Keegan Bradley still playing to earn a spot on the Ryder Cup team could factor into this year's team competition. Bamberger talked about how he didn't think that Rory McIlroy was necessarily going to go on a tear now, how to compare eras pre- and post-big headed drivers, the freedom of Bryson DeChambeau, and shared thoughts on the upcoming Truist Championship coming to Philadelphia Cricket Club.Host Gary Williams also reviewed the Dogs of the Week and revealed the team picks for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Will Doctor reviews all 95 players at Augusta en route to finalizing card for the 89th playing of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. -Reviewing 4 futures outright tickets -Reviewing 3 picks to win any major in 2025 -Going through all 95 players in the Masters Tournament -Adding 1 outright -1 t20, 1 t30 -2 bets "to make the cut" -1 bet "to miss the cut" -4 72-hole matchups -1 first round matchup -3 round 1 three ball matchups -1 t10 after R1 including an 8.2-unit loss at the Valero Texas Open and a failed 9-1 futures ticket on the Houston Cougars in NCAA basketball. He stresses the importance of reviewing picks, especially amid a losing streak, and outlines the four Masters futures he carries from December: Scottie Scheffler (7-1), Ludwig Aberg (14-1), Sung Jae Im (50-1), and Sepp Straka (100-1), with three additional tickets on Sahith Theegala, Tom Kim, and Davis Thompson to win any major. Scottie Scheffler, coming in as the favorite at +525, is praised for consistent elite performance, including no finishes worse than 25th in six events since returning from a hand injury, and podium finishes in his last four starts. His game, including a best putting performance of the season in Houston, is peaking. Rory McIlroy is faded despite strong wins at Pebble Beach and the Players; Will cites driving accuracy issues and suggests 10-1 would be a fairer line than 7.25-1. Jon Rahm, now on the LIV circuit, enters at 16-1 with recent top-10s but inconsistent putting and chipping. Morikawa is also passed over due to final-round collapses, though Will does back him to top 10 in Round 1. Other fades include Bryson DeChambeau (20-1), Justin Thomas (25-1), and Hideki Matsuyama (35-1), due to poor putting or chipping trends. Conversely, Will is bullish on Robert MacIntyre (60-1), who has recorded three straight top-11 finishes and two strong prior Augusta showings. He places both an outright bet and a matchup on him. Victor Hovland is another targeted play, specifically in a matchup over Cam Smith, following his Valspar win and a confident outlook on his improved short game. Shane Lowry, cited for consistency and solid Augusta history, is backed for a top 20, while Russell Henley earns a top-30 ticket thanks to elevated iron play. Several key quotes add depth. Scottie Scheffler credits Texas's varied conditions for developing his shot-making adaptability. Rory McIlroy reflects on family memories and the beauty of Augusta. Morikawa defends media avoidance, which Will critiques as symptomatic of poor mental preparation. Hovland speaks optimistically about short-game improvements with coach Grant Waite, prompting confidence from Will. Aberg's comments reveal awareness of recent struggles, but he remains committed to routine. Sepp Straka remains a strong value at 100-1 with excellent iron play and driving form. He's bet to beat Sam Burns in a first-round matchup, who is faded due to declining performance. Sung Jae Im's ticket has cratered in value, and Will expresses regret on that pick. Spieth is passed over at 40-1 due to erratic iron play, despite solid chipping and putting. Other noted fades include Tommy Fleetwood, Corey Connors, Cam Smith, Patrick Cantlay, Min Woo Lee, and Brooks Koepka, each due to specific statistical weaknesses in approach, short game, or driving. Later segments analyze lower-ranked players, including positive remarks about Phil Mickelson's resurgence and Charles Schwartzel's sharp form. Will picks Mickelson to make the cut, citing recent LIV success. Keegan Bradley and Akshay Bhatia are also featured in favorable matchups. Will wraps with lineup picks for Masters.com, choosing Scheffler, Patrick Reed, Shane Lowry, Davis Thompson, and Straka. Will Doctor gives you the sharpest card for the Valero Texas Open live from San Antonio at TPC San Antonio (Oaks). -Discussing top 8 on odds board -1 matchup -1 t10, 1 t20 -3 outrights (30/1, 55/1, 110/1) -Sleeper, 2 FRP, 2 lineups -Scoring, best bet For the latest as far as the world of golf, follow Doc on X @drmedia59 In the VALSPAR25 Golf Preview Podcast, Will Doctor recaps the Houston Open and offers a detailed betting breakdown for the upcoming Valero Texas Open. He opens by acknowledging a disappointing week in Houston, losing 5.5 units, bringing his season total to -53.8 units. Minwoo Lee claimed his first PGA Tour title, winning by one over Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland. Though Minwoo only hit 22 of 52 fairways, his dominance on and around the greens—15th in approach and around-the-green, and 2nd in putting—secured the win. Alejandro Tosti, known for his distance (4th at 317 yards), finished T-5 after a solid Sunday despite a rough start. Gary Woodland's emotional runner-up, his best since brain surgery, was fueled by elite putting and iron play. Scottie Scheffler posted his best putting week of 2025 and nearly chased down Minwoo with a final round 63, birdieing holes 13 through 16. Will's picks last week largely faltered. Davis Thompson (T-27) had a strong middle stretch but imploded on the greens Sunday with several missed short putts. Mac Meissner (T-39) drove poorly, finishing 67th in strokes gained off the tee, but impressed with iron play. Tony Finau missed a top-20 finish by two shots due to negative iron stats and a disastrous four-putt on Saturday's 15th hole. Minwoo Lee's top-20 bet hit, but Mackenzie Hughes lost top Canadian to Taylor Pendrith, who posted three rounds of 65. Looking ahead to the Valero Texas Open, Will previews a course demanding driving accuracy and elite short game on firm Bermuda greens. He dismisses favorites Ludwig Aberg (12-1), Tommy Fleetwood (14-1), Patrick Cantlay (20-1), Hideki Matsuyama (20-1), Keegan Bradley (25-1), and Jordan Spieth (25-1) due to recent struggles, poor pricing, or course history. Corey Conners, despite being 18-1, gets a top-10 pick (+175) based on his consistent form and two past wins at TPC San Antonio. Akshay Bhatia, the defending champion, earns a top-20 nod at even money given his recent top finishes. Will's outrights include Denny McCarthy (30-1), praised for elite putting and consistent irons; Bud Cauley (55-1), coming off two top-10s with sharp ball striking; and Isaiah Salinda (110-1), a powerful, accurate rookie who dazzled late in Houston. Woodland, fresh off his emotional T-2, is his sleeper pick for a top-10 finish at 4-1. First-round picks are Cauley (+450) and Salinda (+650) to top-10, both teeing off early. His DraftKings lineup features Bhatia, McCarthy, Cauley, Woodland, Salinda, and Meissner, while the PGA Tour Fantasy roster has Bhatia, McCarthy, Cauley, Salinda (captain), Woodland, and Lee Hodges. With potential wind and rain forecasted, Will predicts a winning score of 16-under. His best bet: Salinda to finish top-20 at 3-1. Will wraps by inviting listeners to tune in next Tuesday for Masters coverage and to follow him @DRMedia59. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Get ready, golf girlies! This week on Birdie Little Secrets, Kassidy and Sydney are bringing The PLAYERS Championship to your earbuds and screens with more stories, and more tee. It's basically the World Cup of Golf, but with cuter outfits. The week started with a bang, literally! The military appreciation concert rocked TPC Sawgrass, and let's just say the cowgirl boot game was STRONG. Sydney stepped out in her best boots. Then, Wednesday's Creator Classic? Pure chaos, but in the best way! Kassidy spills all the secrets, including who took home the trophy. When the tournament began, the action was non-stop. Justin Thomas made waves by tying the TPC Sawgrass course record, and Keegan Bradley's unexpected ace had everyone buzzing. Of course, Florida weather decided to make an appearance, pushing the final round to Monday. In the end, Rory McIlroy claimed victory on St. Patrick's Day, and Kassidy and Sydney are here to break down all the highlights. They're sharing their favorite moments, discussing the key plays, and giving you the inside track on what it was like to be on the ground. Plus, they're spilling the tee on their new partnership with the PGA TOUR Wives Association, with super exciting content to come! And, because Sydney's always thinking ahead, she's sending a direct message to Tecovas: "Hey, y'all, I'm ready to be your official golf insider! Just sayin'!" This episode is a wild ride, packed with laughs, drama, and enough golf gossip to fill a caddie's bag. You won't want to miss it! Birdie Little Secrets has new episodes every Tuesday! You can follow along on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube @Birdielittlesecretspod
Smylie Kaufman and Charlie Hulme live stream the morning after a down-to-the-wire finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational as the Florida Swing rolls on! Smylie was on the ground for NBC and Golf Channel witnessing some tough course conditions that developed throughout the week at Bay Hill, and provides insight on equipment and ball changes that players made to accommodate for the firm and fast greens. Smylie and Charlie take a brief look at the developing Ryder Cup picture - both the players who seem like locks at this stage, and who could be playing their way into the picture. The show closes with a look ahead to the PLAYERS Championship - what we should expect for course conditions, and which names near the top of the board and a bit further down we think could win at TPC Sawgrass.

Andy and Brendan went LIVE on YouTube immediately following the finish at Bay Hill and were fired up after a packed weekend of pro golf. Off the top, they discuss Russell Henley chasing down Collin Morikawa to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational, his first win in over 850 days. Andy and Brendan chat about Henley's current place among the game's top players, his Ryder Cup candidacy, and his tournament-winning chip-in on the 16th hole that NBC missed thanks to a Rolex commercial. They then move on to Collin Morikawa and his performance at Bay Hill. Morikawa was unable to close, blowing a three-shot lead on the back nine and is still searching for his first win since 2023. Other notes on API include Keegan Bradley's record-breaking Sunday, Michael Kim's rise up the OWGR ranks, and Sepp Straka's continued strong play. Next, Andy and Brendan give some props to Karl Vilips for his win at the Puerto Rico Open, becoming the first player to win on the PGA Tour in Sun Day Red apparel. From there, the two touch on the Blue Bay LPGA and the Joburg Open before a lengthy discussion about LIV Hong Kong. Sergio Garcia won the individual title and is continuing to push for a spot on a Team Europe at Bethpage. Phil Mickelson also showed some life, finishing in third place and bringing the HyFlyers to the podium for the first time ever. After some updates from PJ on the still-ongoing Dump in the Box Cologuard Classic, Andy and Brendan close this episode with some talk about player reaction to the proposed rollback as reported this week by Adam Schupak and a shoutout to Dustin Johnson.

Welcome to this week's edition of Next on the Tee! I hope your week has been filled with reasons to smile. If not, I'm sending some positive vibes your way and hoping to bring you a little mental relief over the next couple of hours. This week's episode, to quote Billy Joel, is in a New York State of Mind. All of my guests hail from New York, and we take a way-too-early look ahead to the Ryder Cup, including a discussion about Keegan Bradley with his former college coach at St. John's. Leading things off, our resident Director of Instruction, Tom Patri, joins me to dive into Ryder Cup predictions and early concerns. With the event set to take place at Bethpage State Park, a course that Tom grew up near, he'll give us insights on the layout and playing conditions. Plus, with six of the first seven winners on the PGA Tour this season being non-U.S. players, is it too soon to worry about Team USA's chances? Maybe it's time to start sending some positive energy out to them. Tom and I will break it all down in the first segment. Following TP, I have the privilege of welcoming back Frank Darby, former St. John's Men's Head Golf Coach and Co-Host of the On Course show on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio. Frank, another New York native, has served as a rules official and has been involved in setting up tournaments at Bethpage, giving him firsthand knowledge of what players can expect at the Ryder Cup. And with Keegan Bradley—one of his former players—hoping to make the team as a player, Frank shares his perspective on if that's a good idea. We'll also get into Tiger Woods' potential move to the Champions Tour and what the PGA Tour should do about slow play. Frank is fantastic and has great golf insights!

Matt Adams is joined by Major Champion Jeff Sluman as the two discuss the state of golf and what's ahead for golf in 2025. We recap Tiger Woods vs Rory McIlroy in their TGL Match on ESPN which saw Jupiter Golf Links collect their first win against Keegan Bradley's Boston Common.
Local fella Keegan Bradley joins to discuss the debut of the Boston Common in the TGL, his being captain of the Ryder Cup and loving the addition of Mike Vrabel
The never-ending golf news cycle leads to a jam-packed Friday episode as Andy and Brendan unpack a week's worth of stories and rumors heading into the weekend. TGL sent out some team-themed email blasts on Thursday afternoon, so this episode begins with more chatter about the screen golf league and its many marketing campaigns. Brendan and Andy read these team descriptions and discuss how a casual golf viewer might react upon reading that the Atlanta Drive represent the 365/24/7 nature of their city. In outdoor golf news, the Farmers Insurance Open had more withdrawals on Wednesday before play began for the week, with big names such as Will Zalatoris and Gary Woodland bowing out. The tournament is ongoing without a full field despite constant cries about players needing more opportunities to play on the PGA Tour. From there, Brendan and Andy discuss Eamon Lynch's interview with former PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh that was teased on the Wednesday episode earlier this week. First, Waugh is taking credit for Keegan Bradley's appointment as Ryder Cup captain for Bethpage and went into detail about how that choice came to be. Waugh also discussed the new PGA Tour Enterprises corporation and how that's changed the business of golf, wondering if the PGA of America would one day sell the Ryder Cup off. At the PGA Show this week, Adam Schupak sat down with current PGA of America CEO Derek Sprague, who made comments expressing some hesitancy with the proposed rollback starting in 2028. Andy and Brendan discuss what would happen if the rollback was further delayed or even cancelled and how that would impact the game on all levels. In less consequential news about the future of the game, Jordan Spieth committed to the AT&T Pebble Beach, presumably entering via a sponsor exemption, and The Open Championship will return to St Andrews in 2027. PJ chimes in to tell Andy that "Sticks Boy" Noah Kahan is now an investor in the Ballfrogs, which leads the show down a rabbit hole of ranking pop stars. This beefy Friday episode ends with one golf advice email about an upcoming golf trip impacted by a lifelong phobia.
Seth Waugh, former CEO of the PGA of America, joined Gary Williams to discuss the state of the game, his tenure with the PGA of America and what's next for him.Mark Lev, co-owner of TGL's Boston Common Golf team, also joined the program in advance of his team's first match against Jupiter Links.
Webb Simpson joined us in studio to talk and he and Gary Williams discussed a number of topics from the upcoming Ryder Cup, should Keegan Bradley be a playing captain, the future of the PGA TOUR and what is in store for him in 2025 .Paul Hodowanic also joined the broadcast to discuss the recent feature he did with PGA TOUR productions on Nick Dunlap and his win as an amateur last year at the American Express and all that followed for him from deciding to turn pro and how he dealt with all that came after that big win.
On this edition of Golf Today, Damon Hack and Eamon Lynch recap a thrilling finish to the Sony Open in Hawaii where Canadian Nick Taylor was victorious in a two-hole playoff over Nico Echavarria. After that, Paige Mackenzie and Ryan Lavner join for the roundtable discussion on a variety of topics including Jordan Spieth's return from injury, Tiger's debut in the TGL, Keegan Bradley being a player captain for the Ryder Cup, and much more. After, Damon and Eamon discuss Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm making their season debuts on the DP World Tour at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Then, ahead of The American Express this week, Executive Director Pat McCabe joins the show to preview what should be an exciting week in La Quinta. Finally, Damon and Eamon wrap up the show talking about the Team Cup in Dubai this past weekend. All of that and more on Golf Today! Paige Mackenzie and Ryan Lavner 9:23 Pat McCabe 38:42

The 2024 Year in Review comes to an end with this final installment covering golf's ultimate prize, the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Before the Year in Review kicks off, Andy and Brendan react live to the end of the PNC Championship as Team Langer took down Team Woods in a one-hole playoff down in Florida. There's also some Swag Sports Minute chatter early in the show with another losing Sunday from the Bears, Browns, and Jets. The Year in Review finale begins with Brendan researching the happenings at TPC Initech as part of the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Hideki Matsuyama ran away with the win, but Rory McIlroy, Max Homa, and Jordan Spieth struggled to find any form in Memphis. Brendan also shares some laughs from the U.S. Amateur and the NFL preseason. PJ then leads the way for the second stage of the playoffs, a Keegan Bradley win at Castle Pines for the BMW Championship. Scottie got angry at the course, Billy Boy was nervous about protecting the points, and Lydia Ko won the Women's Open at St Andrews. Finally, as always, Andy dedicated his time to researching the Net Tour Championship, the cherry on top of Scottie Scheffler's 2024 season. He recaps the Creator Classic, Jay Monahan's State of the Tour presser, and the ridiculousness of the "FedEx Starting Strokes" branding. We hope you enjoyed all nine episodes reviewing the amusing, inane, and extraordinary moments from another year of golf.
Andy and Brendan return for yet another marathon episode of the 2024 Year in Review, covering the final men's major of the year and the end of the PGA Tour's regular season. Before the Year in Review kicks off, they discuss some takeaways from TGL Media Day, where the world got to see Billy Boy and Rickie Fowler hit some shots into the oft-memed giant screen. There's also some college basketball discussion as Andy looks forward to sitting on the floor for another Cal Bears game this season. The Year in Review kicks off with the week of the Scottish Open, a win by Big Shot Bob after he received a free drop coming down the stretch on Sunday. This week also contained the news of Keegan Bradley's appointment as U.S. Ryder Cup captain and Andy goes in-depth on the feud between Bryson DeChambeau and Mike Schy. After a quick pitstop for the five-man playoff at the ISCO, PJ starts off Open Championship week with notes from the practice days. He shares that Viktor Hovland got existential amidst his spilt from the Chip Monk, and Tiger fired back at Colin Montgomerie's calls for his retirement. Andy jumps in for Thursday and Friday's rounds at Royal Troon, focusing primarily on Todd Hamilton's opening tee shot on Thursday morning. Brendan finishes off Xander's second major win, attempting to contextualize his season among others who have won two majors in the same year. Brendan continues on with the 3M Open, won by Jhonny Vegas, before another group effort remembering Scottie's gold medal win at the Paris Olympics. Andy handles the PGA Tour's regular season finale, the Wydnham Championship, which could just be named "Kucharfest" for 2024. Thanks to Kevin Prise's intrepid reporting, Andy goes minute-by-minute for Matt Kuchar's Monday finish, one of the most ridiculous golf moments in recent memory.

Will Doctor gives you the sharpest card for Saturday morning four-ball picks at the Presidents Cup! For more on the world of golf, follow Doc on X @drmedai59 In this episode of the Golf Preview Podcast on Pregame's Network, host Will Docter delves into Friday's disappointing results during the 15th Presidents Cup, providing in-depth analysis, player statistics, and insights into team performances. Below is a breakdown of the key moments: Friday's Recap & Player Analysis: [Will Docter] (0:39 - 13:30) Will discusses the complete turnaround from Thursday's domination by Team USA to Friday's losses in the foursome sessions. Below are detailed match analyses: Match 6: Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im vs. Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele Matsuyama and Im stunned Cantlay and Schauffele with seven consecutive birdies, finishing 7 and 6. The Japanese-Korean duo, ranked low in strokes gained on Day 1, were in top five by the end of Friday. Key Quote: "Seven straight birdies is flat-out impressive stuff in any format" (0:47). Analysis: Matsuyama and Im displayed exceptional form, outperforming Cantlay and Schauffele in every aspect, particularly in putting. Match 7: Adam Scott and Taylor Pendrith vs. Sahith Theegala and Collin Morikawa Pendrith continued his solid performance, paired with Scott who had a fantastic day on the greens. Theegala struggled, having the second-worst day on the course. Analysis: Theegala's weak putting, combined with Morikawa's subpar form, left them outmatched despite Morikawa's solid ball striking. Match 8: Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Jason Day vs. Max Homa and Brian Harman Homa had a strong day with his driving, but Harman's poor showing left the pair vulnerable. Team USA Analysis: Homa and Harman couldn't recover, losing 1-up in a closely contested match. Day and Bezuidenhout capitalized on their putting despite not playing their best. Match 9: Corey Conners and Mackenzie Hughes vs. Wyndham Clark and Tony Finau The Canadians made seven birdies, ending the match on 13, while Clark and Finau could not make their putts. Key Stat: Both Finau and Clark had negative strokes gained with their irons. Analysis: The home crowd support for Conners and Hughes gave them a needed boost as Team USA faltered. Match 10: Si Woo Kim and Byeong Hun An vs. Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley Si Woo Kim excelled with birdies on 12, 13, and 15, and a clutch par putt to close the match. Scheffler admitted that Henley rolled the ball well but couldn't capitalize on his chances. Analysis: Si Woo's ability to thrive in high-pressure situations made the difference, showcasing his incredible match-play abilities. Saturday Picks & Predictions: [Will Docter] (13:30 - 17:00) Match 11: Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa vs. Adam Scott and Taylor Pendrith Favorite: Scheffler and Morikawa (-205). Prediction: Despite Morikawa's shaky putting, Will leans toward Team USA based on Scheffler's solid ball striking and world number one ranking. Match 12: Tony Finau and Xander Schauffele vs. Corey Conners and Mackenzie Hughes Underdog: Conners and Hughes (+141). Prediction: Will favors the Canadians, citing their recent form and Finau's ongoing struggles with the greens. Match 13: Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim vs. Keegan Bradley and Wyndham Clark Favorite: Si Woo and Tom Kim (-117). Prediction: Will is confident in the chemistry between the Kims, emphasizing Si Woo's clutch performance on Friday. Match 14: Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns vs. Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im Even Money: Will predicts the Internationals will continue their momentum, doubting Cantlay and Burns' ability to perform under pressure. Closing Remarks: [Will Docter] (17:00 - End) Will concludes by discussing his plan for Saturday's afternoon session, hinting at potential picks for Sunday singles based on Saturday's results. More qualms were had with Jim Furyk's picks for the American side, leaving Akshay Bhatia, Billy Horschel and Justin Thomas behind for Brian Harman, Max Homa, and vice captain Keegan Bradley, among others. Producer PJ comes on to defend his fellow Gen Z-er Akshay, and Andy shares a possible conspiracy theory regarding one selection for the U.S. After a walk through the history of Expos first basemen, the two then discuss the two events on TV this week, the Champs Tour stop in St. Louis and the Omega European Masters in Switzerland. One-and-done picks for the Champions Tour are made and Brendan shares two new facts about Frugal Fritelli, perhaps the best ones yet. To wrap things up, it's a quick NFL roundup before the season kicks off on Thursday night.
Tony opens the show by talking about the Travers Stakes, not being able to watch the Nats game on Roku, and he also talks about some ice cream that was sent to him, and he talks with Michael about Lydia Ko winning the Women's Open at St. Andrews. Michael Wilbon calls in to talk about the college football game in Dublin, and how the changes in the Big Ten will affect Northwestern, Babe Ruth's jersey being auctioned off for $24 million dollars, Steve Sands calls in to talk about Keegan Bradley winning the BMW Championship, and Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag. It is …Friday! Andy and Brendan are buoyant as they head into the weekend, discussing a smattering of topics including Bears strategy and a too-good-to-pass-up offer for Browns fans going to the Jags game to play at TPC Sawgrass. Then they get to Mr. 50, Keegan Bradley, leading the BMW, which is cause for sharing a mind-blowing FedExCup Fact of the Day that has Andy nostalgic for a prior era of the playoffs. Then they get to the Women's Open and its snail-like pace of play in some delectable conditions. They bring in Brentley Romine from the ground for a few quick thoughts on what he saw up close in some punishing winds. They ponder whether this “event of the year” has been jammed at the back end of a busy summer that has fans and the networks feeling fatigued. They close it out with some Golf Advice on a mother's bond with her son over Blockie, hitting unused range balls, and how to not take a full swing on a boys trip.
Keegan Bradley joins the show (10:24) to discuss being named U.S. Ryder Cup captain for next year's battle at Bethpage.
