A deep dive into why I've been quiet on the podcast the last couple of months. I got sick with c*vid. In this episode I share every detail with you about my illness process, the lingering effect it has had on my life, and all the supplements and remedies I took/am taking to heal. My personal healing on a mental and physical level has been entirely interconnected, and I am excited to share about a book I've been reading with scientific evidence as to how and why the body and mind are intertwined. It's September 2020, and the world is murky. I felt called to share my thoughts, hold some space, and offer a meditation. So many people are feeling the weight of 2020 right now. It's no longer novel, it's traumatic and seemingly there's no clear end in sight. How do we use the tools we have to take care of ourselves and our loved ones during this heavy season? How do we cultivate a little light within ourselves? Notes:Trigger warning: suicide. Only at the beginning - skip about 8 minutes in, and you'll miss it. An episode on Tarot with Hannah Gatzka led to a fantastic conversation about life transitions, reclaiming our expectations for ourselves (rather than living by other people's rules,) and finding ways to self-soothe when we are at a crossroads. Although this conversation was recorded at the beginning of the year, it still feels so relevant. It has been a strange year all around the globe in 2020, and it just keeps getting weirder. Remember to take care of yourself, try not to worry about what you cannot control, and sharpen your self-help tools, because we're only halfway through. Even Sunbeams Experience Darkness Sometimes

In this episode with Kelly Ewing, we talk about going through pain, rather than around it. Kelly reminds us that even sunbeams experience darkness sometimes, but that the darkness is not something to be afraid of. Without the darkness, there is no transformation, no deep appreciation for the light. The Fruitful Darkness, as Trevor Hall has named it. This episode is incredibly relevant to everything happening in the world right now. We are experiencing collective darkness, collective anger, collective uprising and transformation. I hesitated to release an episode at all, but nearly everything that comes up in this episode can be applied to our current circumstances. It is up to us to dive deep, work through, root in, and rise up in Love, Truth, and Integrity. And as Kelly reminds us, plant joyseeds along the way.
