The other day, I got lost on the way to my hair appointment—not because I didn't know the way, but because I listened to the wrong voice in my head. Question: I'm supposed to observe my thoughts with curiosity. However, as soon as I try to do that, the thought just withers away. Is that normal? The moment I try to observe the thought, I become conscious that I'm trying to observe the thought. Then I can no longer observe the thought. Because it goes away.
