Our posture, our breath, the way our feet strike the ground – all tell the story of how we move through life. But how often do we pay attention to this story - or even rewrite it? Today's returning guest on my Feel Better, Live More podcast believes that pain, stiffness and fatigue aren't just things to manage – they're messages. And when we learn to listen to the body with the right lens, we can move better, feel better and even live better. I'm delighted to welcome Lawrence van Lingen back to the show. Lawrence is a highly sought-after expert in biomechanics, bodywork and human performance. Described by Triathlete Magazine as ‘the genius of running,' Lawrence has over 25 years' experience working with elite athletes and everyday people. He's developed a unique approach that goes beyond traditional methods, blending a deep knowledge of movement, posture and breath to optimise performance and overall well-being. Lawrence works with some of the world's greatest athletes to enhance their performance and help them with so-called ‘untreatable' injuries. His online running workshops have become the backbone of remarkable athletic comebacks, and they've also helped many people worldwide move without pain and with greater enjoyment. His first appearance back on episode 491 of this podcast really resonated with a lot of listeners, and I'm so pleased to be diving even deeper into his holistic philosophy. In this conversation, we explore a variety of topics, including: The life changing benefits of backward walking The relationship between our stress levels and the way that we move Why most of us are over-breathing and the implications of doing so The true role of the diaphragm – not just for breathing, but also for spinal alignment, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation How modern habits like sitting, shoe-wearing and screen use are affecting us Why your feet are more than just a base – they're a sensory system that guides your balance, posture and power How fascia – the body's connective tissue matrix – influences everything from flexibility to feeling grounded Why stretching alone often doesn't resolve tightness – and how restoring communication in the body is the real key to lasting change Lawrence's clear explanations and everyday metaphors bring the body's complexity to life. What emerges is a truly empowering message: your body isn't broken, it's just been misunderstood. And with awareness, patience and the right input, it knows exactly how to heal and realign itself. In this episode, I introduce you to Eve M who lives in Western Ireland with her rescue cat. Eve was first introduced to Organize 365® through listening to another podcast that was interviewing me about ADHD and Organize 365® solutions. Eve became obsessed about this idea of the slash pockets and organizing. She listened to the Sunday Basket® episodes repeatedly. She has a podcast too called Feel Better Everyday that she hosts, author of the book 365 Ways to Feel Better, owns her therapy practice, and is a freelance journalist. We rabbit trailed about having a podcast. Eve has noticed with organization she's gained mental capacity to batch record her podcast content. And we joked how funny it is that once you notice you've gained capacity you continue to push it to see how much more you can accomplish with such things as batch recording. We also talked about growing business. Once you see you have room for growth, that is a great time to get a VA. Eve has gotten a VA and is surprised by how much more she can do because she's not focusing on the admin tasks or harvesting content from work she's already completed. There is less on her plate due to delaying some things according to the Sunday Basket® practice, but it's all getting done within time constraints. It's like her safety net to not have things fall through the cracks. And knowing all of the work that needs to be done helps her ensure that she has work for her VA too. Then we had a really fun conversation about deep dive work. I love my Thursdays when I get immersed in school studies. It allows me time to do productive deep thinking. When we get rid of some of the noise like admin tasks, meetings, delaying things till Sunday, and other distractions, we can really focus and get creative. Eve explained that this is also time to capture all of her pink thoughts. And described deep dive immersive time as being luxurious. It allows us to nourish our unique purpose and grow in it. She wishes she'd known to build in time for rest. I explained what fun means to me, travel!! But Eve shared her she's been resting, taking back up scuba diving, and scheduling fun. She said she spent so much time trying to catch up, she has so many ideas though, she has realized she never will “catch up” so she's resting and having fun instead. Eve's advice is, “Keep checking in with yourself. Know that you know yourself best, you know your business best, you know your home best. Trust yourself and just keep asking yourself ‘What would be a kind thing for me to do for myself right now?'” EPISODE RESOURCES: The Sunday Basket® Sign Up for the Organize 365® Newsletter On the Wednesday podcast, I get to talk with members of the Organize 365® community as they share the challenges, progress, missteps and triumphs along their organizing journey. How many times do you say “I'm fine” or “It's going” each day? And what if those little throwaway answers are actually shaping your mood, your mindset, and even your future? Here we dive into how your casual, day-to-day small talk could be programming your brain—and how you can take control of that script to create more positivity and energy in your life.
Lasting change begins with a shift in both mindset and behavior. Many people remain stuck in self-defeating patterns because of unconscious narratives, emotional triggers, and a disconnection from their body's inner wisdom. Change isn't just about willpower or information—it's about learning to rewire the brain through small, intentional actions that generate powerful emotional feedback loops. Identity transformation happens not through repetition, but through experiences that create a sense of success. In a world flooded with conflicting advice and manipulative marketing, reclaiming agency requires tuning into your own signals, building self-trust, and recognizing that behavior change is a design challenge—not a character flaw. Empowerment comes from realizing that the ability to change is built into who we are as humans. In this episode, I speak with Tom Bilyeu, Dr. Rangan Chatterjee, and Dr. BJ Fogg about cracking the nut of behavior change. Tom Bilyeu is a filmmaker and serial entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of Quest Nutrition, a billion-dollar company built to combat metabolic disease through value-driven innovation. After nearly a decade of chasing financial success and feeling unfulfilled, he realized the importance of loving the struggle itself. This insight led him and his partners to shift focus from profit to purpose. Quest quickly became the second fastest-growing company in North America, according to Inc. Magazine. After achieving significant personal wealth, Tom turned to the other global crisis he saw—disempowering mindsets. To address this, he co-founded Impact Theory, a media studio with his wife, Lisa Bilyeu. Their mission is to scale mindset transformation by producing empowering content that shifts the cultural subconscious. Just as Disney built the most magical place on Earth, the Bilyeus aim to build the most empowering one. Dr. Rangan Chatterjee is regarded as one of the most influential doctors in the UK. A practicing GP for the last two decades, Dr. Chatterjee wants to inspire people to transform their health by making small, sustainable changes to their lifestyles. Host of the #1 Apple podcast, Feel Better, Live More, and presenter of BBC 1's Doctor in the House, Dr. Chatterjee is the author of 5 Sunday Times bestselling books and his TED Talk, “How to Make Diseases Disappear,” has now been viewed over 4.8 million times. His newest book is Happy Mind, Happy Life: The New Science of Mental Well-Being. Dr. BJ Fogg is a behavior scientist, author, and founder of the Behavior Design Lab at Stanford University, where he has researched human behavior since 1998. He developed the groundbreaking “Behavior Design” system, which explains how behavior works and how to design it effectively. Over the past decade, his lab has focused on practical applications—from helping people navigate coronavirus-related challenges to training climate change professionals in behavior change strategies. BJ is also the creator of the “Tiny Habits” method, a simple, science-backed approach to habit formation that has helped over 40,000 people make lasting life changes. His work empowers individuals and organizations to design behavior that benefits both people and the planet. He shares his insights in the New York Times best-selling book, Tiny Habits: The Small Changes That Change Everything. This episode is brought to you by BIOptimizers. I honestly don't know how I should be educating my kids. A.I. has raised a lot of questions for schools. Teachers have had to adapt to the most ingenious cheating technology ever devised. But for me, the deeper question is: What should schools be teaching at all? A.I. is going to make the future look very different. How do you prepare kids for a world you can't predict? And if we can offload more and more tasks to generative A.I., what's left for the human mind to do?Rebecca Winthrop is the director of the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution. She is also an author, with Jenny Anderson, of “The Disengaged Teen: Helping Kids Learn Better, Feel Better, and Live Better.” We discuss how A.I. is transforming what it means to work and be educated, and how our use of A.I. could revive — or undermine — American schools.Mentioned:Brookings Global Task Force on AI EducationWinthrop's World of EducationBook Recommendations:Democracy and Education by John DeweyUnwired by Gaia BernsteinBlueprint for Revolution by Srdja PopovicThoughts? If you've been feeling stuck in lack, survival mode, or emotional overwhelm, there's a reason—and there's a way out. In this MindBody TV episode, I'm sharing how to use neuroplasticity to shift your brain's wiring, so you can finally step out of the patterns that keep you feeling exhausted, unsupported, or not enough. These loops aren't who you are, they're just old signals your nervous system got used to sending. When you bring awareness, breath, and presence into those moments, you create new pathways: ones that signal abundance, clarity, safety, and freedom. This isn't about forcing positive thinking. It's about creating true energetic and physiological alignment. Join me next week for my FREE live workshop: https://drkimd.com/workshop-2025/

AI has upended schooling as we know it. Students now have instant access to tools that can write their essays, summarize entire books, and solve complex math problems. Whether they want to or not, many feel pressured to use these tools just to keep up. Teachers, meanwhile, are left questioning how to evaluate student performance and whether the whole idea of assignments and grading still makes sense. The old model of education suddenly feels broken. So what comes next?In this episode, Daniel and Tristan sit down with cognitive neuroscientist Maryanne Wolf and global education expert Rebecca Winthrop—two lifelong educators who have spent decades thinking about how children learn and how technology reshapes the classroom. Together, they explore how AI is shaking the very purpose of school to its core, why the promise of previous classroom tech failed to deliver, and how we might seize this moment to design a more human-centered, curiosity-driven future for learning.Your Undivided Attention is produced by the Center for Humane Technology.
