Fiona spoke about her extensive career and the journey she went through to secure her current post, where she has remained for 17 years. Fiona also spoke about the importance of local radio and the differences that exist between that and a larger radio station.

Dundon's tenure started off in teaching and came full circle as she later spearheaded the BA and MA Journalism courses in UL. As a political correspondent for the Irish Examiner, Dundon fondly remembers her days with the paper and her many endeavors at the forefront of great Irish journalism. This conversation is a wealth of knowledge for young journalists at the start of their career.
