Limerick Voice reporter Mairead Sheehy caught up with Fiona Stack, General Manager of Radio Kerry, following her seminar given to fourth-year students at the University of Limerick. Fiona spoke about her extensive career and the journey she went through to secure her current post, where she has remained for 17 years. Fiona also spoke about the importance of local radio and the differences that exist between that and a larger radio station.

Limerick Voice reporter Róisín Ní Shuilleabhain spoke to Jack O'Connor, the social entrepreneur, former United Nations Youth Delegate and University of Limerick student. Jack, self-described as “insanely curious” is an advocate for positive mental health and offers his words of wisdom on how to stay motivated through tough times.

In this weeks' podcast, Roisin Ni Shuilleabhain speaks to brothers Declan and Jeff Fitzgerald from the Corpus Christi Boxing Club. The dynamic duo has been at the heart of the Corpus Christi BC for nearly 30 years, supporting their local community in Moyross and training the future generation of Limericks boxers.

Limerick Voice reporter Róisín Ní Shuilleabhain spoke to veteran Irish journalist Mary Dundon about her illustrious career and her central role at the heart of academia in the University of Limerick. Dundon's tenure started off in teaching and came full circle as she later spearheaded the BA and MA Journalism courses in UL. As a political correspondent for the Irish Examiner, Dundon fondly remembers her days with the paper and her many endeavors at the forefront of great Irish journalism. This conversation is a wealth of knowledge for young journalists at the start of their career. On behalf of all at the Limerick Voice, we thank Mary for her massive contribution to the paper and programs at UL.
