「女性マネージャー50％超…イケア・ジャパントップが語る女性活躍　「職場での平等は家庭での平等から」　8日は国際女性デー」　8日は「国際女性デー」です。Live News daysでは今回、女性活躍が進む北欧スウェーデン発祥の「IKEA」を取材しました。日本でもおなじみの家具メーカー「IKEA」。千葉・船橋市の店内には、部屋を彩るおしゃれな家具が並び、SNSでも話題となっている子ザルの「パンチくん」の母親代わりのぬいぐるみもあります。オフィスをのぞくと店舗と同じ家具が並び、会議室には多くの女性たちの姿がありました。イケア・ジャパンは、マネジャー職の女性比率が2017年に50％、2026年1月には52.3％を達成しました。なぜこれだけ高い比率を達成できたのか、イケア・ジャパンのスウェーデン出身のトップに話を聞きました。イケア・ジャパンのペトラ・ファーレ社長兼CSO：職場での平等を実現するには、まず家庭での平等から始める必要があります。働き方や社会を変えるには時間がかかることと気づきました。ファーレさんは職場での平等を実現するためには、まずは「家庭での平等」がとても重要だと言います。社員たちが「家庭での平等」を実現するには、悩みや戸惑いも当然あったといいます。カントリー財務統括・税務マネジャー 工藤彩さん：自分でやりなさい、迷惑をかけないで。それって自分だけが思っていることかもしれない。IKEA Tokyo-Bay フード部門・橋本遼典さん：お互いに本当に助け合いながら、一つのチーム（家族）として乗り越えていくというようなスタンスで、10年かけて考え方変わってきたかなっていうところがあります。「家庭での平等」を実現するための秘訣を、ファーレさんはどのように考えているのでしょうか。イケア・ジャパン ペトラ・ファーレ社長兼CSO：家庭でどんな生活を送りたいか考えましょう。どんな働き方をしたいか、社会をどう変えたいか話し合いましょう。日本だったら可能です。特に日本は絶対できます。

「築60年の空き家を「外国人向けシェアハウス」にリノベ　空き家全国に900万戸　キノコ栽培で収益化目指す新たな取り組みも」　「Live News days」では今週、「for THE NEXT」を共通テーマに、未来に向けたSDGs関連のニュースをお伝えします。4日は、空き家問題の解決に向けた新たな取り組みです。群馬・伊勢崎市にある空き家で行われているのは、キノコの栽培です。空き家を改修し、キノコ栽培ができる施設として再生されました。空き家問題は、人口減少と高齢化に伴って深刻化しています。2023年時点で、全国で約900万戸。30年前と比べるとほぼ2倍に増加しています。この問題を解決するべく、群馬県の企業が新たな取り組みを始めています。先ほどのキノコ栽培に加えて、今後はウニやクエの陸上養殖を行う計画も。さらに、ここで暮らすのはインドネシア出身の人たち。築60年の空き家をリノベーションして、シェアハウスとして活用しています。住人（インドネシアから）：生活も便利になって、うれしかったです。運営する企業は、入居審査が厳しい外国人労働者に安定した住環境を提供できるとしています。クールコネクト・神戸翔太代表取締役：空き家に対して、1次産業で働く人や外国人労働者の方に提供することによって、（空き家を）再活用できる。収益化や外国人向けのシェアハウス。新しい空き家対策が動き始めています。

「“家族”と最後まで一緒に　高齢者とペットが暮らす特養　散歩やごはんも施設がサポート　神奈川・横須賀市」　「Live News days」では今週、「for THE NEXT」を共通テーマに、未来に向けたSDGs関連のニュースをお伝えします。3日は、高齢者と大切なペットの過ごし方を考えます。神奈川・横須賀市にある特別養護老人ホームは、ペットと一緒に入居できる全国でも数少ない施設です。ここでは、高齢になって入居者ができなくなったペットの散歩や食事の世話なども代わりに行っています。ペットを飼う年齢について、老人ホーム検索サイト「LIFULL介護」の調査結果では、50代以上でペットを飼っている人の75.4％が「できるだけ長くペットと暮らしたい」と回答した一方、「高齢を理由にペットを飼うことをやめることを検討している」と回答した人が約2割に上りました（17.8％）。このような声がある中、この施設では、飼い主が亡くなったあともペットの世話を続ける取り組みも行っています。「いいですよね、本当に。そういうところってないでしょ。（一緒に）過ごせるってことはいいことですね」と話すのは、飼っていた愛犬と入居している女性。愛犬は昼間は施設内を駆け回りますが、寝るときは女性と一緒に過ごします。さくらの里山科施設長・若山三千彦さん：みなさん大好きな犬猫と一緒に暮らしているので、本当にずっと生き生きしていますし、元気になられますね。高齢者とペットについて、LIFULL介護編集長の小菅秀樹さんは「飼い主自身の高齢化に加え、今ペットも長寿化して介護が必要になるケースが増えている。介護施設の大半が人員不足の中で、新たな業務をどんなふうに位置づけるかが大きな問題」と課題を指摘します。家族ともいえる大切なペットと最後まで一緒に暮らす。そんな取り組みが今、少しずつ広がっています。
